Schools in Antipolo

^it's at Beverly Hills Subd, along the main road from taytay to antipolo... i believe the subd is the first one youll see after reaching the arch welcoming you to antipolo... last i heard the tuition was around 60-70k...

Hi sisses. regarding hedcen, i sometimes visit the place as i do have some friends of mine who (college friends) work there.in fact, i had the opportunity to witness their graduation last march. i must say, compared to bigger schools (where i came from), their program was just a lot more personal and heartwarming. the students (even the non-graduating ones) were really involved in the entire program. I believe the school emphasizes a lot about being better individuals not just in school but everywhere and that's what they're preparing these kids for. Aside from their advanced curriculum (Chemistry in 3rd grade??), they have hefty conduct deliberations, serious football training, and art classes for the artistically-inclined. In terms of their facilities, i am not so certain about the creaking chairs though, but they don't seem old at all to me (from a distance). They have a science lab that's pretty much equipped though (microscopes, array of exotic plants and animals, etc). They also have in-house kumon to boot if you're interested. Best to check them out personally. Btw,i just remembered the school's motto: Better people, better earth.

i asked about their teacher retainment, so far yung mga teachers nila may mga 12 years ng nandun sa school, last year isa lang daw yung teacher na umalis. yung pinakabago nilang mga teachers 2 years na sa kanila. bihira daw ang umaalis na teacher.

btw, isnt the school situated at the end of a hill?... i remember when we went there, we are asked to park a few meters away from the school because they were supposedly building a new gate/wall that was supposed to protect them against falling rocks... or baka mali lang yung memory ko...

nope. hindi sila situated sa end ng hill. what they're building there 2 years ago was their preschool building. saan pala nagaaral anak mo?

Sis Rush, do you know how much ang nursery or kinder sa HedCen? Strict ba sila sa age ng bata? My son is turning 4 this june and I don't know if they will accept him for Kinder. Do you have a contact number? Thanks!

^^nice to know HedCen has good teacher retainment, that's quite uncommon right now... they must have improved a lot from what i saw 2-3 years ago...

yung son ko kasi advanced prep, around 58k ang tuition with miscellany. so kung kinder or nursery medyo mura ng konti. Nope sis, hindi sila strict sa age. MAy ibibigay silang exam sa anak mo, para ma assess nila kung sang level siya pwede. My son came from a MOntessori School here in Cainta, medyo parang walang natututunan kaya i decided to transfer him sa ibang school, when they assessed him, napunta siya sa Advanced Prep. He's supposed to be in grade 1 kung sa MOntessori siya. So iba talaga ang standard nila sa former school ng anak ko. Wala naman daw kasi sa age yun, it depends sa capability ng child. tsaka sa readiness nila.

i heard good feedback about Head Cen from a Ninang who has a daughter there in Grade school.  Very hands on nga ang training nila. My son is entering preschool, but I would look into this school when he'll enter Grade 1.

We're along Shopwise Antipolo (knows as Imperial) and I'm looking for a school for my 4 year old son. We are new to this place so I'm not that familiar with the schools. Can anybody recommend a good school?

hi sis..try mo check out yung firm foundation school...its along this one way road before you reach the municipyo...they combine progressive, montessori and traditional way of teaching...

Hi. Where exactly is La Salle Antipolo? Is it anywhere near the church? All boys din ba?

^la salle antipolo is near antipolo hills subd. from church mag trike ka pa mga 15mins. girls & boys po.
- tuition fee is base on the itr ng parents Class A is around 35K, class B 32K, class C 29K tuition fee po yan, Misc less than 10K plus books po.

wala silang preschool.. Grade 1 ang start nila.

I highly recommend HEDCEN as well, 2 years na dun ang son ko, and so far I am very satisfied, medyo off talaga facilities of course compare sa san beda or other bigger schools, kaso, gusto ko talaga turo nila. Kung ganda ng facilities San Beda ok din.

^Hed Cen is almost 80k for grade school, same with Assumption.

not really, but yung sa village east na international school - kai, yata yun, chinese ang owner.  baka may chinese tutorial
