Playschool and Preschool somewhere in East

^Anong level sa AA sis? Nag-gather na din kase ko ng feedback for kinder 3 and grade 1. My daughter is currently in junior nursery and plan sana namin ni husband na ilipat na sya next year sa AA for kinder 3 para hinde mahirapan mag-transition to grade 1. Kaso karamihan ng parents and teachers na nakausap ko sabe mag-wait nalang ako ng grade 1 and let her enjoy her preschool years in ISYC muna. Since AA is a traditional school, concepts na kagad ang tinuturo ang the ratio for preschool is 1 teacher to 25 students compared to her current school na 2 teachers to 10 kids. Gusto ko kase matutukan sya lalo na sa pag-read.

Feedback naman sa grade 1, ayun lage nga daw pagod kase whole day na. Dito kase sa area namin, AA ang pinaka ok na girl school. My worry lang talaga is baka mahirapan mag-transition from progressive to traditional chaka lalo na ang haba ng school hours.

im from ortigas extension de castro, di ko feel mga preschools dito at mas gusto ko either progressive or montessori. Im eyeing parkwood in pasig but sa travel kami talo, mas madali to commute to village east na im eyeing is kila and divine angels. Yung dati kong choirmate, although hindi kami talaga naging close eh teacher dun sa toddler class yata. Ano feed back niyo sa both schools? Wala talanag tagalog/filipino classes sa kila? Shempre as a filipino, gusto ko sana me ganun, kaso naiisip ko naman na ang hirap kaya magturo ng tagalog haha mga pang uri pangnalan lol yun na lang naaalala ko so okay pala, pero papano kung ilipat ko na sa traditional school which is yun ang balak ko pag nag grade 1 na. Haha. sa divine angels, meron ba me feedback?

hello! my 2 nieces are studying in KILA. and for what i observed sa mga pamangkin ko, this is a very good school. very polite and independent sila and the way they speak super fluent sa english. and the teachers there are very nice. at sobrang tyaga nila magturo. kasi konti lang sila sa class. and every grading kasama ng report cards ng mga kids meron kasamang cd. andun yung mga pictures ng mga activities ng bata.and nakakatuwa may letter sa mommy and daddy kung ano mga natutunan nila for that grading. and very responsive ang mga teachers  sa mga questions mo. kasi may notebook sila na pwede mo isulat ang mga questions mo about your kid and sasagot sila talaga. and yeah marami silang events kasi for them very important ang family kaya madami activities na involve talaga ang parents. im a mommy to be. and without second thought, dito ko sya pag aaralin.

that's a nice feedback.. im thinking nga if pagsasummer ko son ko he's 2 years old this month eh. if sa KILA (multiple intelligence class daw for his age) or Divine angels, na hindi nagrereply sa fb or email. uhh. parang yung hanap ko na class eh nasa divine angels pero di naman nagrereply ampf.

Dapat dun pag aaralin ni ate un panganay nya eh un nga lang d nga cla sumasagot sa inquiries thru email. Tapos un nag try cla dun for 1 week ang na observe ng sister ko lagi nagtatagalog parati ang teacher at para daw matamlay magturo. Though im not saying na hindi maganda pag nagtatagalog ang teacher pero kung ang anak mo is 1st language ang engling parang mas maganda Sa KILA. Like un mga pamangkin ko kasi dahil d cla pinapayagan manood ng tagalog, naging first language na nila talaga ang english. And the good thing about kila is hindi crowded kaya tutok ang teacher. Sa pamangkin ko 10 lang cla sa class. 1 teacher and 2 teacher aid para pag mag totoilet cla or ibang bagay may tutulong sa mga bata.

ang tagal na ng email ko at FB inquiry (wala ako land line ayoko pantawag yung line ko lol) hindi pa din sila nagrereply sakin, sana di na lang sila nagsabi ng mga online inquiries diba? sana direcho na lang landline. pero okay lang nalaman ko na april 6-30 na ang summer class, eh busy kami ng April kasi darating yung brother ng hubby ko. kaya feeling ko yung 5k na TF for that eh masasayang lang. next time na lang siguro kami mag summer. nag message na nga din ako kay camille na hindi nagrereply staff niya. lol.. hindi ko alam kung nakita nya din ba ang message ko or not.

my daughter was able to take entrance exam in KILA. it's a nice school naman, mejo maliit nga lang. TF is 47k plus inclusive of materials. Not yet included ang school uniform, field trips and yung activity book para dun sa singapore math na subject.

they use Singapore math and SRA Reading Program. i forgot  the other subjects but sure na they don't have filipino subjects. what i like most is yung observation ko sa mga bata, hindi nagkakagulo sa hallways or kahit sa labas while waiting.

we also checked out colegio sto. domingo, erase na to for me... i didn't like it nung pagkakita nung teacher sa anak ko and said, "Hi Ayana, oh you're so thin!" Muntik ko na nga sabihan na "she's not that thin, maybe you're just too big" Kainis, hindi naman ako mapanghusga kahit anung size pa nung tao, pero kapag sinabihan naman yung bata ng ganun, mejo below the belt for me, major turn off

hi mommy ellyn, ask ko lang sa KILA ba how young ang tinatanggap nila and do they teach Chinese words? thank you in advance

we attended the 3-day (but 2 days lang, absent na kami ng last day) trial class in divine angels. i like the classroom especially the wash room, clean enough. with regards naman sa teaching, naoverwhelm sina teachers nun papano dumating around 20plus students, 2-4 years old. ang daming nag iiyakan including my son LOL tapos parents were inside pa the first day. medyo naging mabagal ang process kasi nga super dami nila. ni clear nila na in real setting na, around 15 lang daw. i like it nun second day, wala ng parents sa class, pinaghiwalay na yung toddlers and 3-4 years old. so the 2 years old nasa play room lang, but they had a time na nag pasting and tracing sila, positive feedback ang son ko independent nga daw, at alam na ang shapes (actually he knows letters numbers shapes animals and fruits na) nega lang na ayaw nagshare LOL pero my son shares, hindi niya lang siguro kilala pa mga tao kaya naka guard sa sarili niya. anyway, i find teacher very maasikaso sa kids. pwede na nga daw pumasok son ko this school year (junior nursery), but i prefer not muna, maybe next year na lang for senior nursery. OR pwedeng summer class muna next year then next next year na yung totoong class. around 40k ang tuition.

since interested talaga ako pasalihin si yung son ko who is 2 years old marereco mo ba divine angels? kahit na di ako nakajoin eh try ko pa rin papasukin yung anak ko..
papasukin mo na ba son mo this school year?

@genelnar: hi dear! di ko kasi fully ma encourage ikaw na i enroll yung baby mo kasi di ko pa naman fully nakikita yung pag turo nila. pero masasabi ko lang maasikaso sila sa baby ko. saktong 2 years old lang sya nun trial class eh, baby pa talaga ang dating. alalay na alalay naman sila, pag medyo iiyak na or hindi na focus kinakarga nila, nun nag tracing sila, pag dungaw ko, nakakandong son ko, malambing din sila. so sa part na yun, mejo positive na sila sa akin.

hindi ko pa sya papapasukin sis, sulitin ang toddlerhood muna. parang baby pa masyado yung son ko para mag school eh, just went there to try lang talaga. also, wala ako masyadong alam na schools sa cainta aside sa divine angels, or KILA or faith christian at san lorenzo? pero alam ko madami pang small schools dyan, i just cant vouch for them as well hindi ko alam ano mga yun kasi hindi naman talaga ako taga cainta hehe. but if he is going to school, in  2016 or 2017 okay na ako sa divine angels for now.

any idea how is the ratio of KILA kids over teachers? How much narin po ang tuition for toddlers? Do they accept installment too? thank you po sa mga sasagot...

Hi sis berryl! Ratio of teachers vs. kids is 2:20 plus the teacher aid pa. Pero usually pag toddlers 10 or less. I'm not sure about the tf for toddlers pero for kinder and prep it's 61k inclusive of books na. I saw some cutie toddlers there and nakita namin how they've grown to be an independent children. Marami din kasi kaming mga mommies na waiting sa mga kids so minsan nakikita namin yung mga toddlers na hinahatid ng mga yaya 10:30am ang start ng class nila

open na uli free trial for pre school sa divine angels. iniisip ko kung tuloy ba kami or what. i still want na dun mag aral son ko but iniisip ko pa rin ang byahe namin, kahit pa naka school bus kami.
