Sa check up naman everything was fine...

In God's time talaga, dadating din yon kaya wag tayo mawawalan ng pag asa. The more ma pressure tayo, the more mahihirapan tayo magkababy.. Always be positive lang :)

7yrs kame magbf/gf ni hubby before kame ikasal. during those times, madame nagtatanong kelan daw ba kame magbababy, to think na ang tagal na nga naman namin to think na wala pa kame gamit na contraceptives or anything. hay, God is good, last year i got pregnant, but i had to sacrifice working in abroad to take care of our baby in my tummy, naudlot din yung plan namin to get married first, pero okay lang. matagal naman na namin pinagppray na mabigyan ng baby. on our 7th yr last may, we got married pero civil muna kasi i gave birth a month before that, baptism ng baby namin month after. hay. thank you Lord for all the blessings talaga :)

I can relate (on both sides) kasi when we were few months married palaging nagaask sakin if may baby naba kami ng hubby ko. Yung first years nagt-take ako ng pills kasi we want to enjoy our time together with my hubby. But we do want to have babies kaya I stop using the pills. I know it will be hard for us to conceive din kasi I'm very overweight 260 lbs and hubby wasn't sure of his semen count. We went to the doctor for help.

Anyways, it took us three years to have a baby. We're 5 years married now. And I have complications during my pregnancy. Pre-eclampsia and Gestational diabetis. Every 2 days in a week chi-ni-check ako ng OB-GYN at yung Diabetic MD for pregnant women. Nag bleeding ako and that was after 3 months preggy. 5 months na ako preggy noon when nag bleeding ako, so I stop work before my doctor told me I need bedrest.

After I gave birth ang daming nagaask ulit, may kasunod na ba? Kita nga bago lang labas yung baby. A-ask uli may kasunod na. Now, 14months na si baby palagi pa rin nila akong tinatanong when yung kasunod. Kailangan may kasunod na daw si baby di daw pwedeng wala.

We do want to have another baby but not right away. Budget wise, enough lang ngayon tatlo kami. I'm not that too annoyed compared before when they ask me kasi, true talaga din na it's very wonderful to be a mother. But I also respect other couple who choose to delay or not to have children.

My eldest sis nga, they are 7 years married now and she just turn 31 but they still didn't have any babies. Sure they want one but for now daw they're not ready to have one. If they're given the blessing fine, if they're not it's fine for them too. Her in laws and friends keeps on bugging her about a baby and it should be a boy daw to carry over their name/surname and the given name should be like their son daw. It was so bad that my sister finally told them, she'll get pregnant when she's good and ready and she'll name her baby any d*mn name she wants it to be whether it's a boy or girl. They finally stop asking her.

My sister and BIL is really great with my baby, sometimes nga they just visit or call us bec of my baby. They miss her. Now it's us teling them to have a baby so they won't have to borrow our baby. He he ;D

To all married and soon  to get married, na pag usapan niyo ba kung mag baby na kayo agad?

So what do you think? Gusto ko kasi inejoy muna ang pagiging no baby yet stage. hehe

TS, alam mo mag maigi minsan ang pagkasal baby agad kc pag luwal ni baby nagpapalaki kana lang, you will not run after it, kelan ka magka baby pag lolo na asawa mo?

We got married last 2008 and I'm only about to give birth to our first baby (actually, due date ko today hehe). Medyo iba lang circumstance namin dahil right after our wedding, he had to move to Australia for work and then I followed.  We both wanted to adjust to living and working in a new country first, with no friends and family here at all (downside) plus adjust to married life (to which no family is an upside hehe).  So far our "timeline" has been excellent, we were able to travel and save money the first 2 years of our marriage and last year when we finally decided we're ready to have a baby, we were blessed to have been successful after only a month of trying.  I hope everything continues to work out well for us.  Ang kagandahan lang, maraming issues / anxieties about bringing a child into this world has been eliminated by our careful planning.  We're physically, financially and emotionally ready.

Whatever you decide on, as long as it's a mutual decision, that's fine.

only you and your husband can decide on this matter... kasi kayong 2 ang bubuhay sa baby... kayong 2 yun magtutulungan para sa growth ng magiging family nyo and para na din sa growth nyo as a couple...

I just want to know kung ano ang sinasabi mo na bawal once nagkaron ng baby? kasi in my case, wala naman bawal nung nagkaanak ako... Me and my hubby still have time to enjoy... We go out with friends... I can invite my friends, he can invite his friends over... or sometimes i go out with my girlfriends, sya naman he go out din with his friends... pero di ibig sabihin na napapabayaan namin ang anak namin...  ;) yes, bigger responsibility pero kung marunong kayo mag balance nothing is impossible...  :)

My opinion:  delay chidbearing.
A couple needs time to adjust.
More important, a couple should work on their priorities, not on society's expectations.

I married young, my husband is older but not that old-old ha as amoy lupa or papa papa ekek.  lol
I needed to finish my education, he wanted to put up his own business (though he was already a very well compensated top exec).
So, we decided to put off having kids for a couple of years... actually, until we had a stable business, and a couple of  properties to rent out...  O eh di ang daming commentaryo... queso baog sya or ako, quesyo muka kaming pera, quesyo sigurista kami about life... name it, we heard it.

IF we had babies right after marriage... I do not think we will have what we enjoy now.. the security and perks.  It took time, sacrifice and planning to take off.  Mahirap kasi, in our opinion, to have "MUST EXPENSES" that babies require.  Tayo adults puede mag cost cutting, belt-tightening... but kids just must have certain stuff and care that costs funds.   So instead of providing for necessities, we decided to focus our money, time and effort on money-generating projects, on advancing our interests... so ayon, may mga negosyo, may earning assets.
The problem is not how to provide for what the kids want or need, but more of saying "NO"  when it is not good for their character, specially when we can afford it.

Actually, ayoko talaga noon ng maging mother worrying about money.  Gusto ko kung ano naisipan ko best for my baby, kaya ko give.  Sure, I married no Rockefeller, pero hindi rin naman pobre or naghihikahos... or pwersado ako sa budget.  And, heck, I needed time to get my act together... as in, be financially self-empowered.  Hard to ask someone for something you really really really want, even for your kids.  Mahirap magka baby kung tipid na tipid ka eh, yun alam ko at a young age... kasi yun ang dakdak ng old yaya namin sa amin lahat.  Ayoko nang internal dialogue with myself that as a kid, I enjoyed this and that pero hindi ko ma give sa anak ko.  I am a firm believer in the improvement of the race, natural combined yon with advancement of the race di ba.

IMO, too, it is important to have more than enough money. It sure insulates a couple from, or prevents even, a lot of areas for discontent/disagreement.  IMO, it is money that makes the world turn... not love... so there, shoot me.  Basta.

BUT we also believe that we have all this now coz God gave it all..
Yon nga, God helps those who help themselves.
Also, but for the Grace of God.. there we go...............

May dagdag dahdah pa ko ha, ipagpaumanhin nyo

A baby is not the glue that will bind a couple.
     IF your marriage/relationship  is good, the baby will make it stronger;
and bring you  more joy and zest to face life's challenges.
BUT IF your marriage/relationship is  already "challenging" -- the baby will add more stress, and
may initiate the beginning of The End.     1 of you loses hope/courage to go on in the face of
more challenges brought on by a baby's growing requirements.

So yon na nga yon:  A baby is the 1st ever acknowledged "dagdag-bawas"  issue.   ;)

i'm getting married soon and may mga ganyang comments din pag sinasabi kong ayaw ko pa magkababy right after the wedding. mga after 1 year minimum pa.

i want to plan for everything eh. i want to us to adjust after the wedding. i want to us to explore a lot of things sa career namin. kung kaya ba namin magsama sa business together or not.

imo, the newly weds should give themselves about a yr to enjoy each other and learn how to be a married couple. iba na kasi when the two of you are living under one roof. iba ng roles nyo, iba na rin mga responsibilities. dont let others dictate or control your lives.

in my opinion, kung financially stable at well adjusted na kayong mag-asawa immediately after the wedding, then go na agad, ok na magkaron ng baby. tsaka pala pag late 30s na, i don't think pwede pa patagalin yun :)

im our case, late 20s na ako nagpakasal but we still want to spend more time muna na kame lang dalawa. yung wala pang mas mabigat na responsibility. buti nalang naghintay kame kase kahit 5 years na kame mag-bf gf nun, iba pa din pala ang adjustment pag mag-asawa na kayo. honestly, nahirapan ako kase first time mawala sa poder ng parents ko. naisip ko nga, kung mabubuntis agad ako baka mas nahirapan ako mag-adjust with all the preggy hormones. :)

after 7 months, we decided na ready na kame for a much bigger responsibility. tamang tama lang since nakapagtravel kame kung saan saan tsaka enjoy talaga namin na kameng dalawa lang iniintindi namin. swerte din kame na it only took us 2 months magconceive. i'll give birth this june na and no regrets na di agad kame nagstart ng family. since ngayon, sobrang well adjusted na kame sa isa't isa at may enough na savings. :)

sis,as what i observed in other couples na maaga nag-aanak e nagiging mahirap sa kanila ang pagsasama sa umpisa as husband and wife, kasi hndi sila nagkaron ng sapat na panahon para makita kung anong ugali meron ang bawat isa.siguro after a year of being together pwede na kayo mag-anak  kasi kahit paano prepared na kayo emotionally, mentally, phsically.

I'm not against having a baby, but I totally believe na you can plan things like this kase kame ni hubby napag-plan din namin yan.

Hubby and I have been together for 6 years now but we've been married for 2 years pa lang. We decided to have a baby a year after we got married cus we wanna make sure na we're ready for it and talagang gusto na namin, hinde yung napilitan na lang kase nabuntis ako or something. There are many rewards for planning your child aside fromt he fact na you get to spent time with your hubby and get to know each other more. One of the advantages in our case was that we were able to prepare ourselves financially and emotionally. Had I given birth to a child in my younger years or on our earlier years, baka hinde naging maganda kase super selfish pa ko.
