hi mga sis, i plan to go to malaysia from singapore. since alone ako, i want to join a half day city tour sa malaysia. anyone of you who have tried this?

^ I did this alone too last Feb. Just wanted to be alone for some time...in short emo moment haha. Anyway, I took the Aeroline Bus from Singapore. I chose the one that leaves at 8:00AM and arrives in Malaysia at around 1:00PM. The bus drops you off at a hotel a few meters away from Petronas lang. May free lunch na yun so no worries and they assist you on the Immigration. I then went to KLCC, had pics at the Petronas Tower then walked to KL tower. It's kinda long walk pero since I'm alone, I'm too afraid to take the taxi. Di ka naman mawawala since mataas yun so alam mo kung saan yung hinahanap mo. Tumingin ka lang sa langit makikita mo kung saan dapat ang daan haha. Those were the only things I wanted to do lang naman in Malaysia and I'm done. So basically I went around the park lang and the mall. Then I returned to the place were they dropped me off at 6:45 PM. Basically I only spent 5 hours in Malaysia. Arrived around 12AM the following day in Singapore. 5-Hour bus ride kasi pero its OK lang kasi yung seats nung bus parang business class ng airplanes. Lazy boy siya...

Medyo nadedepress nga ulit ako ngayon gusto ko ulit yung feeling ng mag-isa ulit at mag-isip ng mga bagay bagay haha...

your asking if worth it ba to "waste" a few hours in malaysia? its not worth it, kung few hours lang naman just stay in SG...Per my opinion, parang nagsisi pa ako kung bakit ako ngpunta ng malaysia, sana I stayed longer in SG na lang...

Safe ba sa Malaysia? In my experience kasi I got scared, kasi when we went to Chinatown in KL may mga sumusunod na mga guys & girls sa min... sabi ng friend ko from the time we arrived in Chinatown hanggang sa paalis na kami, they are following us. Natakot talaga ako and I swear I wont be going back again

that's my first our of the country trip pa naman, last June. siguro case to case basis naman yan and siguro mukha kaming mayaman hehe...

^ ay sad naman sis kung ganyan naging experience mo dito sa Malaysia. So far, in my 3 years stay dito, la naman ganon na katakot na experience sa akin. Siguro, I've learned to be alert na. Tska kasi Chinatown is like Quiapo/Divi sa atin kaya dapat talaga wag masyado magdadala ng mga eye catching gadgets/wear jewelries.

o nga sis eh, i super like ko pa naman petronas...siya ang the best for me

siguro nakita nila yung friend ko na ngpalagay ng something sa iphone niya, baka yung friend ko ang sinusundan...when my other friend told us to stop walking and there's this group na sumusunod sa amin natakot na talaga ako... i don't know what to do and feeling ko namutla ako, dito kasi sa manila hindi ako natakot sa mga snatcher eh hehe... tapos ayaw ko ng mglakad sa bukit bintang, meron kasi mga signages doon na nakasulat "beware of pickpockets" and ayaw ko na sumakay ng taxi

pero kung merong mfdadala sa akin sa KL for FREE go go go ako hehe

thanks sa mga advice mga sis. di na siguro ako punta ng malaysia kasi "mukhang mayaman" din ako. LOL!!! Joke lang

parang nanghihinayang din ako sa oras at pagod. oh well, maybe next time na nga lang.

anywhere naman rampant yong mga ganyan e. be careful na lang siguro to wherever we go, kasi parang you are depriving yourself to see the beauty of another place just because of situations like that!

there are other places naman to go if gusto niyo makasulit ng 1 day sidetrip to Malaysia (from SG) not necessarily KL.. but pwede din Desaru, JB, Kukup, Malacca.. etc..

haha...well for me it was worth it. kasi I just wanted to cross out another country from my list and I wanted to be alone nga diba. Malaysia kasi is OK lang for me. I mean not like a dream destination or something. I stayed for 6 days in SG kasi so enough time to go to KL. SG is kinda small din kasi for 6 days. I didn't feel afraid that time naman. Kasi 1.) Tanghali/hapon yun so maliwanag pa and 2.) Tourist places talaga pinuntahan ko. Di ko naglibot anywhere else. Mall lang and [textspeak!] tower. Enjoy na lang and be alert na lang din siguro. Yung mga nilakaran ko kasi ang dami naglalakad na tao din.

marami talagang tao sa chinatown, kahit san na chinatown sis...i remember, nung pumunta kami ng malaysia, naka-stay kami sa chinatown mismo...paglabas ng hotel, andyan na yung mga tindahan, at maraming mga taong kakaloka...i mean, yung tipong madaling araw pa lang, andiyan na yung mga transvestites, selling their "wares", tapos pag gabi naman, maingay kasi, ang daming nagtitinda...and ofcourse, masikip ang kalye...tapos naalala ko, may isang part sa hotel namin na may templo, i mean, muslim mosque kaya maraming tao...

although, hinde ganun ka-exciting ang malaysian trip namin nun, worth it naman to see KL...sa umpisa medyo parang matatakot ka nga din...may isang time nga, na lumabas akong mag-isa to buy something, full alert lang ang beauty ko nun, kasi, syempre, mahirap na...when we were in hk naman before, may sumunod din sa amin nun, kasi nagkamali kami ng street na napasukan, and na-realized ko agad na mali, and then i saw a guy, following us, pero binulungan ko lang yung sister ko then sabi ko pasok tayo sa mcdonalds, tapos pag-alis namin, wala na yung guy...basta be aware lang, kahit saan ka man pumunta...:-)

case to case basis talaga. I went to Malaysia last June, side trip lang din from my 9 days in SG trip and solo traveler din ako. Madaling araw pa lang nandun na ko sa Berjaya Times Square, konti lang mga tao dun na waiting for MRT to operates, though nakaramdam din ako ng takot , wala namang nangyaring masama or wala naman akong na experience sa travel ko when I was there in Malaysia. Be alert nga lang talaga, you'll never know what will happen pa din.

^ from KL to SG, nasa RM35 so if we use exchange rate na 13.5 nasa 472.50 pesos
