what i do now is comb my hair pag wet pa siya. e since manipis talaga hair ko, binabalik ko lang yung shape while applying styling stuff. pag tuyo na, kusa na siyang kumukulot. minsan di maiwasan na mabuhaghag pa rin kasi i travel thru jeepney, and medyo matagal byahe so talagang nililipad lipad ang hair XD

Shampoo(every other day) + conditioner(everyday) lang ako.

Hi mga sisses, TS (thread starter) here! I am happy to inform you ladies that I still love my kulot at daming naiinggit, hihi. I am not exaggerating when I say na almost 3 years ago I hated my hair and regularly rebonded it. Tapos mukha akong manananggal kasi grabe yung buhaghag niya. Suklay ang number 1 kaaway natin, whether we like it or not.

as of writing, I found the perfect product for my hair. i use any regular shampoo BUT after towelling my hair dry I use Herbal Essences Break's over conditioner. Rinse off siya pero ginagamit ko siyang leave on. What I do is I rake it on my hair using my fingers pero concentrate on the end tapos pag may natira pa sa kamay ko yun yung inilalagay ko sa top of my head para hindi maging limp yung curls. Better nga minsan kapag medyo tulo tulo pa buhok ko :) mas kapit yung conditioner. Basta wag lang din sobrang dami, siguro, tantiyahan lang din till eventually makukuha mo na yung tamang amount for your hair.It only takes me 5 minutes to set my curly hair and I just allow it to air dry pero bongga pa rin.

Hehe.

Just finished reading the whole thread.
I've been straightening/relaxing and rebonding my hair since I was in grade3 mind you 26 na ko ngayon.
Freshaire pa Lang before ang nag straight ng hair.
Then nauso yung relax then rebond. I've tried high end salon as well as salon sa kanto namin.
So just imagine how fried my hair is.
I got curly-kinky hair so nagpaparetouch Ako ng rebonded hair ko every 4 months.
I have tons of conditioner, hot oil, cellophane etc. from drugstore brands to kerastase to treat my hair.
But yung latest kong pagpaparebong which is 3weeks ago sobrang nasira yung hair ko.
Brittle,Mais like and sobrang hair fall. I iron my hair kasi sobrang pangit.
After reading this I want to go embrace my curls na.
Im thinking of perming my hair para kapag tumubo Hindi na masyadong halata yung kulot since kulot na siya Lahat but I know it will add to the current state of my hair.
I really don't know what to do.
Hope someone can enlighten me or help me decide Kung among Gagawin ko sa kanya.  :'(

^Happened to me also. I'm currently transitioning from rebonded to curly. Last rebond ko one year ago na. Half curly half straight hair ko ngayon. What I did was alaga sa olive oil mask (olive oil + honey + egg white) then refrain from using heat.

Naku mga sisses, that is one of the things I am avoiding kaya nagdecide ako to grow my natural hair na. Tsaka I cant imagine myself going for rebonding when I am 60, susko!

At this point, your hair needs matinding tlc. Avoid heat tsaka keep you hair conditioned palagi. And no matter how tempting it is, huwag nang magparebond.

Thanks sis Patstarr and Razzy.
I'm really taking care of my hair ever since through treatments.
Lately pikit mata ko binili yung oleo relax line ng Kerastase since I've read good reviews about it.
Every other day na Lang din Ako maligo ng hair but I shampoo and deep condition it every time.
I work in sales where in I deal with clients everyday so I need to look presentable.
I don't think yung transition from my rebonded hair to my natural curls would work.
Ang Tagal nun and ang panget Niya talaga Tingnan swear!
I really want to avoid ironing my hair since its really time consuming kaso Mais like yung old rebonded hair ko.

sis simply me, actually mental state ang panget for us, pero sa mata ng iba, maganda bagay etc. You have to feel good inside before you look good outside.

" I like your hair" as in harapan niyang sinabi sa akin iyan sa isang event gosh super nakakataba ng puso. We don't have to undergo so much hair stress under the hair iron to look good.

sis simply_me stop ka na at join ka na sa amin hehe Ako what I did habang nagttransition hair ko from all the rebonding is pinapagupit ko. Nagiging short haired girl talaga ako. Better kung layered. Tapos I use hair accessories pag bad hair day at di ko talaga ma-control ang hair.

Though I admit, may mas confidence at mas outgoing ako nung straight buhok ko. But that's ok with me. Even my best friend na dati super ineendorse na magstraight na lang ako, e sinabi na niyang mas prefer na niyang kulot na ako hahaha

pa join mga sisses yiii :D

my hair is not really curly but more of wavy. pero may pagka-dry talaga. i started straightenign my hair, relax pa that time since senior high school. tas later on rebond na. pero last year i decided na di na magpaunat. dahil nga pansin ko sobra na hairfall at ganun pa rin dry. hindi ko bnaman carry magpa-tretament eveyr month kasi overseas ako at mamumulubi ako dito hehe.

i shampoo din every other day lang at tulad ngayon winter, hindi talaga me nagbabasa ng hair every other day :D so far may difference na me napansin since last year. less na hair fall at mejo nagiging healthy na hair. konting alaga na lang hopefully maging healthy na yun wave/curl. mejo need ko lang talaga sipagin mag hot oil more often. my sister bought this keratin treatment cream (nakalimutan ko brand hehe) kaso hindi ko nagagawa regularly. anyway, good luck to us! :)

But that was years ago napansin ko after years of rebonding (2-3yrs I think) medyo hindi na ganun ka buhaghag yung regrowth ko pero dry looking parin sya compared sa rebonded parts.  I am very much interested na di na mag rely sa rebonding, I'm on my 6th month from my last rebond and it was a disaster kasi sobrang daming hair fall!

Any tips sa transitioning? Also the term "patay na buhok" would be fitting sa natural hair condition ko, alam nyo yung hair like sa old movies? Parang ganun pero di naman curly :))

What to do? kasi ayoko na rin talaga umasa sa rebonding. Hate na hate ko yung 3 days after rebond pati the process itself. Haay. Thank you!

Maybe it can help you ;)
