grrr... was supposed to go this holy week but nagback out kasama ko... kaso naka-mindset na ko so i'm actually thinking of going anyway... anyone wants to tag along?  hehe ...

This is part of my bucket list.... Per checking discontinued na pala ang AirAsia to India and Europe, ang swerte naman ng mga sisses who were able to score cheap tix from them...

I will be probably be doing solo travel too, are the guesthouses safe or am I better off in hotels?

I'm going to India this year to open a business in New Delhi. I hope to explore while there.

Does anyone know if I can go to India for a few days only? Say... 3 nights? LOL

Depends on which city you want to travel to.. India is an amazing country.. Madaming nice places to see. You can take the train and hire a cab, Can stay in hotels and guest houses, in my experiences, its not as cheap as other asian countries like Thailand, & Malaysia. Its also pretty chaotic and dirty in some parts. But many beautiful sceneries and architectures worth visiting. Not as safe if you are travelling solo and a female. Madaming scammers. Have to be alert always..

I read on tripadvisor that palace on wheels is a good way to travel to India. Will probably do this next time..

i miss india:( i used to fly there almost every month and fave ko indian breakfast sa hotel esp masala dosa and masala tea. at first i was overwhelmed sa amoy and spicy but when i got used to it haha hinahanap hanap ko na. mura books sa india i miss goa too! very cheap and ang babait ng tao. hindi pa ako nakapunta sa Taj Mahal so definitely i'll be there again soon!

mistyb, what airline are you taking? Im trying to find the cheapest way to fly to India. I was thinking MNL- BKK- DEL, cebu pac or any low cost tapos low cost airline again to Delhi (maybe Indigo). This would still come out cheaper over the 900usd fare of PAL.

My tour guide turned friend promised me that he will pay for my bkk- del. So husband ko nalang babayaran namin. Hmmm pwede.

^^ yes i can eat very spicy food. i eat raw chili too. i've got malaysian friends and they always invite me to eat in their flat kaya na-practice ako

Nag search ako before na MNL-KL-DEL kaya lang nag stop na pala ang air asia ng route to DEL kaya hindi ko pa alam kung anong airline ang mas maganda. gusto rin namin kase mag spend ng 1 or 2 days sa connecting flight country.  Ano mas ok na airline to DEL?

Sis check mo yung IndiGO. I know they have a BKK- DEL and SIN- DEL.

When I went to India, I came from the middle east kasi. I did a Cairo- Abu Dhabi- Muscat- Delhi- Bahrain- Manila


I find KUL boring too compared to BKK. So if babalik ako ng India I'd do it via SIN (kasi never been) or BKK (must love)

ive been reading a lot about india and im sooo excited na for our trip this december-january. dun kme mag new year ni hubby, maybe sa jaipur.

sis, ask ko din kung may natago ka pang itinerary jan? pa share naman kung ok lang:)

misty b... 3 days lang ako doon eh. So super tight talaga. Taj mahal lang (Agra) na I believe kaya naman talaga ng one day tour. Then Delhi tour on my last day. Hindi na ako ng Jaipur.

Mag train nalang kayo ng hubby mo from Delhi to Agra. Para total Indian experience. Leave like 6 am tapos from take the 9pm train back to Delhi. Super kaya na yung one who day sa Agra kasi Taj Mahal lang nandoon and Agra Fort.

Ilang days kayo in total? I can prolly ask my Indian tour guide- turned- friend to make an itinerary for you.

^thanks sis. we're planning to spend  8 days in India. new delhi, agra, jaipur, pushkar, jodhpur, and jaisalmer sana puntahan namin. sana kaya ng 8 days.. baka sa jaipur kme mag tagal then punta sa pushkar na 2 hrs away from jaipur, yung jaisalmer and jodhpur, di ko alam kung saan yan, hahaha.. nabasa ko plang and ireresearch ko plang kung malapit or on the way lang:)

thanks sis kung mabibigyan mo kme ng itinerary or if ever i'll ask the number of your friend para in case, magpa tour kme.

Hi ladies, I've planned a south Indian trip this August. Coming in from BKK to Chennai. Kasi may Cisa on Arrival din dun diba? I'm a solo traveler going to Pondicherry and down south na talaga. May naka avail ba ng VOA dito from chennai?
