india was an amazing experience for me. we did the golden triangle tour and i would strongly recommend getting a local tour guide with a mini van to make your experience more comfortable

must sees are:
lotus temple
mahatmas gandhis house
taj mahal
agra fort
amer fort
hawa mahal
city palace
johari bazaar
chandi chowk
qutab minar
elephant ride

i visited a lot of mosques but these places usually require you to walk barefoot (which im not a big fan of) i would suggest that you spend more time looking at their forts instead.

indian food is very cheap. dont leave without eating there naan, lassiwala, lamb and cheeses.

i also bought kurtis and let the local artist apply mehendiwala on my hands (their version of bridal henna tattoo)

^sis, talagang visa on arrival nga? sorry stupid question, but how does it work? wala naman bang hindi nabibigyan ng visa pagdating sa india?

yes, it's visa on arrival. wala namang na-de-deny pag ganyan not unless pag interesan ka nila. just think of SG or HK when u arrive, visa on arrival mga yun.

hi! you can choose to get a visa on arrival but i would still suggest getting one before you leave the philippines
just for that small chance that you dont get accepted syempre you dont want to have paid for your airfare and get deported
back to the philippines right?

pricewise- getting a visa here in phil is a little bit cheaper. its really fast. just 3 working days

^ how much na ngayon for visa processing at their embassy in dasma village? how is their process na? i mean, can u still go straight to their embassy inside the village or ipa-LBC na lang?

dati kasi (which was 7 years ago), one can just go straight to the embassy, apply today then next day meron na. tapos after ilang months, nag-iba na uli ng patakaran kaya yung apply today, release tomorrow eh mga 3 days na inabot. then nung 2006 or 2007, dun ko na nalaman na ipa-LBC na lang lahat ng requirements pati bayad & in return, they will send via courier na din.

napakwento na tuloy ako hehe i would like to visit India again & bring along my bf kaso he doesn't like the idea. sa ibang bansa na lang daw. sayang, we can stay pa naman in some of my friends' house dun.

 as far as i know you cant do lbc..i cant remember how much but you can just check out their website for the cost

tip: if you are traveling with a group. just pick one representative to go to the embassy
you pay 150/ person if they enter dasmarinas village.

Visa fee is now P2100 per applicant for 3 days processing, just got my visa and will be leaving this thursday to Delhi. First time ko

Mga sis pa update naman ng trip nyo. I've been to India 2x for work and will do a DIY trip next year around March or during the Holy Week break. Or baka partial DIY since I want to arrange all tours from here.

I've seen Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort but would definitely want to go back. Never been to Jaipur (part daw ng Golden Triangle tour). I didn't get to go around Delhi so I guess I'd want to tour the city too.

Also, sino pa ang naka visa on arrival? Share naman ng experience. :-)

I applied visa here in manila, so walang naging hassle upon entry.

Visa upon arrival ang ginawa nung Pinoy sa likod nung nakapila sa immigration, he was referred to other counter. Di ko na siya nakita hanggang sa paglabas ko, I guess madami pa siyang dinaanang counters.
