Alternative daw to sa braces. Invisible braces nga ang tawag nang iba pero mas comfortable daw kesa sa braces pwede pa raw tanggalin kung may special occasion. May na ka try na ba nito? Magkano kaya magpalagay nito?

^I was interested in Invisalign before too.

I first heard about it from a Katherine Heigl interview. She said she fixed her protruding canine using Invisalign.

A GT dentist here said 200k pesos lahat. One time payment. Kasi they have to send it to the US labs pa.

Since I'm still a student, I really couldn't afford this. Tapos nahihiya pa ko magpabili pa sa parents ko, 24 na kasi ako O_o maybe when I have my own money na lang.

Or when they get the Invisalign equipments to our country. Maybe by then, pwede na installment =p

A friend has invisalign parang retainer cum braces sya its nice kasi clear and he doesn't talk funny naman and he said takes a little bit getting used to. he removes it when he eats, i have yet to ask if he drools pero parang hindi naman. he wears it ata for a certain number of hours or baka inaalis lang nya.

ito ba yung clear braces? how come my officemate has this kung mahal. i'm not saying poor siya ha pero napakaunreasonable naman kasi ng 200k for braces unless hindi talaga siya brace.

gusto ko rin nito rather than braces kaso if di ko naman afford baka bumagsak din ako sa braces....

i did a lot of research about Invisalign a few months back, one of the topics i had to write about kasi for work. anyway, with Invisalign kasi, plastic aligners are used instead of the traditional metal braces. the aligners can be removed whenever the patient needs to do so, and it's the favored teeth straightening method lalo na for adults who don't want "obvious" braces. yun nga lang, syempre it's pricier than traditional metal braces - and i think i read somewhere that Invisalign is best for minor teeth straightening/adjustments lang - pag masyadong crooked ang teeth and needed ang extensive movement/adjustment, best bet pa rin ata yung traditional orthodontic braces.

I was considering to have one too. But I was thinking temporary lang naman braces tapos tatanggalin din. Acceptable naman yung magiging itsura ko once I wear the traditional braces, not bad looking so I'd rather save than spending 200k for invisilign.

invisalign ito po ay ginagamit after braces treatment parang retainer lang kasi meron po ako nito pero dko sya ginagamit kasi maskit para ka p rin naka braces.i dont think na it cost 200k php kasi yon sakin included na s binayaran ko s braces ko.clear plastic sya dapat palagi mo syang suot alisin lang kapag kakain.ya

yes, its true, na pinapadala pa namin sa US your diagnostic records and after 1 month more or less pa kayo makakbitan.. so wag kayo magpapaloko sa nagsasabi na mura lang ito.. cause, it's really expensive.

first step to know if di kayo niloloko ng dentist nyo is mag request ng complete diagnostic record..only at Lapid dental worth 6 k yun.  yung request is for invisalign braces. then, wait for 1 month more or less  bago dumating yung KIT nyo, consists of different aligners.

i've been thinking of doing this and i already have most of my pre-invisalign procedures done pero i've depleted my dental insurance for this year kaya i'll do it this coming january na lang. i live in the US (california) & the average cost is about $3000-$6000. my dentist quoted me at about $4000 pero she said it really depends sa invisalign kung gano kadaming trays (aligners) ang kelangan ko.

before i can get invisalign, i needed a clearance from my dentist - meaning dapat wala akong cavities anywhere. ready na sana akong gawin siya last may kaya lang my x-ray showed that i have a cavity in one of my teeth (under a filling na ginawa ng old dentist ko, di niya natanggal lahat ng cavity before he put the filling) na close sa root ko so i had to get a root canal done muna kaya naubos yung dental insurance ko for this year.

minor lang naman yung gusto kong ipagawa - just to straighten my teeth kasi naka-protrude yung two front teeth ko and to correct a very slight overbite.

No way its the same. Magkaiba ang clear retainers sa invisalign. The retainers are used to retain teeth where as invisalign is used to move teeth. Mukha sila magkapareho pero super ibang iba. They give you 21 sets of invisalign aligners which you change every 2-3 weeks. And yes. full treatment costs about 180k to 200k. The dentist wont make much here kc pinapadala sa US and its really expensive. The technology is computer aided. They even show you the 3rd changes on your teeth.

Di naman kailangan super healthy. Tooth with cavities can be restored. May assessment of case bago maapprove for invisalign..
