^No problem! It has a light, powdery scent; natural fragrance was used. Very mild lang, not like the bug spray at all.

Pacheck ko mga din skin ni baby sa allergologist to be sure although sabi ng pedia nya may skin asthma si baby namana sa family namin. Ako wala but my father and bro have it.

my 8 month old baby has also skin asthma, she is currently using cetaphil bar soap ang cetaphil retoraderm lotion.  May mga ointment pa na bigay ang pedia nya and she can't stay long outside dahil pag pinagpawisan, sobrang irritated agad ang skin nya kaya dapat laging naka aircon.  Namana sa side ni hubby, manageable naman lahat, she is not using any power or baby oil.

Sweat/heat is super irritating to the skin of any patient with skin asthma and this will lead to itch and redness.
If nascratch, susunod na ang rashes.
Kaya kapag napawisan, wash up, change clothes and put fragrance free moisturizer kaagad.

Yung baby ko din 10months na siya ngayon at may skin asthma. We tried using aveeno pero maslalo siyang natrigger. Natry din namin ang Physiogel, Cetaphil restoraderm and Oasis Noah Voco cream. Nagimprove naman siya with Cetaphil restoraderm wash and Oasis Voco cream, but after discovering Mustela stelatopia, ayun sobrang bilis nawala yung mga rashes niya sa paa and arms right after ko siyang pinakain ng egg. I bought the stelatopia set for 3650, makakmura kayo to buy a set and may freebies pa siyang kasama. Now I can say, glowing na ang skin ni baby

My pedia/derma's recommendation (Dr. Paguio)

1)  Massage using VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) on the whole body for 20minutes
2)  Bath Baby using Physiogel Cleanser & Physiogel Cleanser
3)  Dry baby
4)  Moisturize (We were told to use Physiogel AI Cream)

The magic for us is the VCO.  We still get flare ups from time to time. 

I breastfeed and was told to avoid the following:
Eggs, Shellfish (shrimp, crabs, clams), Wheat, Soy, Chocolate, Cow's Milk
My baby should avoid these too (when she started taking solids)

We use Cutivate Cream and Betnovate Cream for flare-ups (steriod creams)

Remember the 3 C's
Cool - keep them cool
Clean - clean environment, clean rooms para walang dusts
Comfortable - keep them comfortable, no tight fitting clothes

^sis I like your 3 Cs, grabe din skin asthma ng baby ko, Dra. Sumpaico din allergologist namin, last check up namin wala pa namang binawal na pagkain, bawal Lang talaga mapawisan kasi ayun na ang umpisa. Go signal din kami na kapag hapon eh mainit and pawis na pawis, pwede paliguan ng saglit lang.

^^behind the knees din pag nagkaka rashes ang baby ko. His using physiogel cleanser for his body and physiogel lotion. Sa face yung a1 cream.

Yung oilatum soap medyo kaamoy sya ng dr. Kaufman. Will try it kasi may nagbigay ng samples.

how much yung sa mustela? i know there's mustela in glorietta sa may food choices but i havent asked about their products for skin asthma. my baby is using oilatum ever since she had it, 5 months siguro siya tapos pabalik balik lang. tapos aveena lotion for kids, but not the one specifically for eczema. sabi ng pedia she's allergic to some food din daw kaya natri-trigger.avoid muna food na malansa esp chicken

Mga sis... has anybody tried these products? I have skin asthma and I feel frustrated na talaga, kaya I know how much frustrating it with you moms. I do hope ma outgrow ng babies niyo ang skin asthma nila since if they still have it, it's really bad and makes it so embarassing.

I was looking for treatments kasi the meds the derma gave me has suddenly stopped working after years kong ginagamit. My last resort is steroid injections, but I saw this online na they are good.  I have yet to try it kasi it's non-steroidal but organic and natural. Anybody here tried this?

have you tried using By Nature Handmade Soaps Olive Beaty & Very Oatmeal ang Oasis VoCo Cream?
I'm using these products on my son who is only 2 months old. he has atopic dermatitis/skin asthma.

I haven't tried it. But, the prob is allergic ako with Oatmeal.  Also, just recently, I asked my aunt in the US who is a nurse na bilhan niya ako nung cream for Skin Asthma na sinasabi ko since wala dito.  She told me, ok daw but try ko daw VCO muna for moisturizing.

I tried the VCO... pero sad to say... it was even worse! Sobra pang lumala and it was even painful pa. Hindi naman ganun yun noon. So, personally... I don't recommend something na allergic din ang baby.

I bought from amazon.com a cream based Eczemax Cream. I made several research kasi sa steroidal ointements and hindi talaga siya maganda. I will try this Eczemax since natural daw siya. It is also safe for babies. I will try this, if all goes well good. If not, gosh.. I'll go for the steroidal injections.

My daughter had skin asthma din before, but since I have experience na how to deal with it.. which is... maliit palang (like butlig) is gamutin na agad and huwag talaga palakihin kasi it will be harder to resolve.

My daughter is allergic to Johnson's baby soap. Nivea Head to Toe is what we used (I would recommend [textspeak!] Skin Epoch Baby but since it is expensive, we had Nivea).  We also cut on Mangoes kasi that made their allergies worse.

My eldest, walang kahit anong allergy - he's now 7. Because, he was only taking Nan HA (or so called, Nan HW) since baby. My twins, who had allergies, maaga nag cow's milk and wasn't the NAN HA kaya lumabas ang allergies nila.  Good thing, na out grow na nila. Now, that they are 25 months old already.

Do keep babies hydrated too.

^sis same tayo, ang lala ngayon ng skin asthma ko ganun din baby girl ko, 21 months naman baby ko Gain Plus Advance milk niya, nung less than 1YO Nan HW kasi pareho kaming mag asawa may history ng asthma. Kakapacheck up lang namin sa Pedia pinapalitan ang moisturizer ni Baby from Cetaphil to Physiogel AI Cream.
