sis, patchuchai, same here, hindi rin ako marunong kahit basic floating. as in super beginner level talaga. i'm fine with ywca. the thing is, my work ends at 5 pm pa. pero pwede ako ng early am schedule like untl 8 am. i'll try to research din baka may iba pang swimming lessons within the area. and mag-inquire din ako sa rizal. i'll keep you posted with the updates within the week.
^ I'm a guy. Yung pool sa Rizal memorial 50 meter pool yun. Isang lap back and forth the length of pool is 100 meters. Pull buoy is a small piece of styrofoam that you tuck in between the legs when you swim. You will be working your arms while your legs are holding the buoy. Kickboard is also a small piece of styrofoam that you hold on while you work your kick. Here's a video on how to use the pull buoy:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxJ-itIdHrcHere's another one for kickboards:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wPubyYWv54
A bit off the topic(OT if you prefer)Someone from this thread asks why chose female instructors?I specifically chose to find straight female instructors because it comforts my mindset that I am safewhile in 1-1 trainning or learning a new skill. i had one very first bad experience when i was 21yrs old learning how to drive from an unprincipled instructor. i did not complete my driving lessons and kept silent with the issue and shrug it away as a bad incident. I am always dressed casually(long jeans, plain polo shirt)I never flirted or talk nonsense with any of my instructors even in my younger years. But this does not mean all instructors are bad or hyenas. I just have to keep guard myself everytime. Though male instructors are the best coach when it comes to technical trainning, i would hate to punish myself "over respecting" my trainor when I paid for that trainning and for the experience.
