Anti-Dandruff Shampoo's or Conditioner

I was able to control my dandruff for a time using Nizoral but when I moved, naggrabe dandruff ko- I tried lemon, olive oil even cider vinegar- wala talaga.  I also used Stiprox, wala.  The only product I used which I find effective is POLYTAR shampoo but not available in the Phils

hi sis thesis!  kumusta yung polytar? hindi ba masyadong matapang? parang intended for psoriasis ata yung product? wala bang naging side effect o same lang ng effect ng nizoral?  hindi kasi ketoconazole ang active ingredient niya.

before i used to shampoo using H&S... nawala talaga dandruff ko... pero alam ko super harsh siya sa hair if gamitin everyday.... once in a while i use this if super itchy ng scalp ko...

no luck for me din. napaka elusive niya talaga. once nagka stock ulit to magmmega hoard talaga ako.

Took the plunge and got Polytar.  Mukhang matagal ang magiging absence ng Nizoral. Company issues ata, they moved their manufacturing plant or something.

I got Polytar sa Southstar sa Robinsons Lifehomes.  Meron din sa mga Mercury Drug stores. It's pricey at P698 for 150ml.  Halos kapresyo din ng Nizoral Max at P300~ for 60ml.

I used it once, hoping for the best.  Hindi kasi ketoconazole ang active ingredients nito, but coal tar.  Sana magwork. 

Other alternative is Stieprox nga daw sabi sa pharmacy.  Stiefel product ito, same with Polytar.

pa-join po, i've only tried head and shoulders and it did work for me, ang problem lang nagka-rashes ako sa face. so i never tried it again.

before naka dandruff ako ng sobra tindi...nagpa derma pa ko pero di nawala.  kaya nag try ako nag un h & s or clear shampoo ay nilalagay ko muna sa lalagyan na may 1 cup of water at saka ko dini-dissolve ang  shampoo then, saka ko ilalagay sa hair ko.  so far, nawala un dandruff ko until now kahit gumamit ako ng ibang shampoo ok lang.  i hope maging worry free din kayo sa dandruff nyo.

this is my problem.. dry scalp ko.. pang maintenance ko is nizoral kaso wala akong makita.. out of stock daw

^kakabili ko lang last friday ng nizoral sachet, meron sa watsons dito sa gateway mall. Hirap nga maghagilap nito kasi pa phase out na ata...matagal ko na hinahanap to kasi dad saka kapatid ko nangangati yung balat, effective yung gawing bodywash ang nizoral hehe

I use selsun blue shampoo for my dundruff. Very effective siya for me. Try nio mga sis.

i get dandruff whenever i stick to the same shampoo and conditioner for over a week. kaya i do rotate talaga over different shampoos and conditioners. i also incorporate biweekly scalp and hair detox (vinegar diluted in water rinse). dati kasi i do bi weekly hairspa, eh sabi nung styist sa salon magastos daw ako, pwede na daw yung regimen na yun for detox ad clarifying ng scalp. hehe, kaso tiis lang talaga kasi parang 4 washes na andun pa rin ang amoy ng vinegar. kaya i do that during sundays lag para sure na nasa house lang.

Maganda effect sa akin ang Stieprox at first, yun ang prescribed by my derma for seborrheic dermatitis. Kaya lang napansin ko grabe ang hair fall ko after a few weeks of using this, so i stopped using it for now. Parang nabawasan din ang itchiness ng scalp ko when i started using Snoe Beauty Hair Heroes Intense Argan Oil - and hindi na super-dry ng scalp ko na tulad dati annoying flakes talaga. pero ngayon naman problem ko na mas malaki e hair fall na.

can i use it kaya kahit im using keratin shampoo? ang ginagawa ko kasi now every 2 days tsaka lang ako nag coconditioner kasi feeling ko sa conditioner talaga nangangati scalp ko

nabasa ko online na milk of magnesia is effective daw in treating dandruff. kaso diba wala ng milk of magnesia dito?

sis ano yung milk og magnesia - parang sa ulcer eto di ba?- mahal na ng nizoral sachet 45 na grabe- eto sobrang dami na naman ng casper ko sa anit, pagnapapakamot ako naghuhulugan kagigil kainis

mga sis, try niyo neutrogena t/gel shampoo. i use it as a once a week clarifying/detox shampoo kasi i have the tendency to have dandruff kapag nauumay na siguro yung scalp ko sa current shampoo and conditioner ko. nakakatuwa siya kasi every after na gamitin ko siya, feeling ko super linis ng anit ko. pero please be reminded na medyo di siya kasingbango ng other shampoos ha saka malagkit talaga buhok ko pagkatapos pero ok lang kasi i do it lang naman every sunday pag di ko kelangan mag suklay masyado.
