There are 2 kinds which is yung lighter brown color na parang pork then the other one is the beed type na mas darker in color. I'm searching for the lighter brown color. Hindi na kasi nagbebenta yung binibilhan ko. Saan ba dito sa Q.C pwedeng bumili? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)

im thinking this is your body's way of releasing the toxins out of your body. tutuo sabi ni sis innocent_beauty, pagnagclecleansing ako before, sakit ulo ko, mejo hilo, pero after nun, okay na :) nagaadjust kasi body mo sa cleansing. but still, better if you consult your doctor/dietitian to give you tips and check you up if your body can handle the cleansing :)

sabi ng isang Dr. na nag alternatives medicine being vegan doesn't mean na puro salad lang kakainin mo sure mag sasawa daw..sa pilipinas nga daw mas madali maging vegan kc daming mga veggies na pwedeng iluto like pinakbet, ginataang kalabasa na may alugbati ,sitaw, mga talbos ng kamote na steam lang tapos red rice lang. or steam talong with red rice mga ganun vegan na daw yun ..tapos mag juice ka daw ng pipino, carrots na may celery mga ganun daw... i try ko nga sya mga simple at di nakakasawang pilipino vegan alternative...sabi nya kc kung susundin daw natin yng taste ng american food na salad di daw magtatagal ma attempt ka kumain ng iba kc di daw sanay ang taste bud nating mga pinoy sa ganun lasa first masarap then soon mauuta na..so why not switching to the pilipino way of food na sure vegan din sya.

I'm slowly easing on this diet. So far, one month na ko walang pork, chicken or beef sa diet, seafood lang. Pero eventually I get to be vegan na, I stopped eating meat after watching "Meet your Meat" sa PETA site.

Edgy Veggy opened a new cafe in Kapitolyo/Pioneer! :)  Although I hated veggies initially, they made me try a Thrive vegan detox diet and I liked it so I've been a fan ever since.  I don't think I can go strictly vegan/vegetarian, but it's a good idea to recalibrate once every other month with a detox.

My girlfriend and I have tried transitioning to a vegan diet since January. We got started after dining in Bliss, a very good vegetarian restaurant in Baguio near Mines View. We still have meat every now and then kapag hindi mapigilan ang cravings but we mostly stick to veggies and non-meat options when we can. So far, medyo lumuluwag [textspeak!] mga damit ko and I don't know if it's an effect of the diet but I've felt calmer, more in tune with myself ever since.  :)

nabasa ko somewhere na Cheez Whiz pala hindi pwede sa vegans coz of the anchovies daw? wala lang, just thought of sharing it here... :)

ako di ko naman kaya na talaga all-veggies pero at least now, kung may fish option eh yung pinipili ko than meat and nakakakain na rin ako ng veggies. Dati talaga hindi e :P

If i crave for some pork, id cook tofu. I have lots of tofu stocked in my ref. everyday may tofu ako... I thimk they call me flexitarian.

Family and I ay Vegetarian (Lacto-Ovo) to be exact but now we're trying to remove Laco and Ovo since madami ng replacements ng pwede, dati I tried to be a Vegan which is the strictest form of Vegetarianism kaso sobrang hirap. Kahit na I want kaso it's a total lifestyle change, kasi it requires na lahat ng gamit mo from head to food, things that you use and all around you ay animal cruelty at animal by-product free so yun...I can't say na Vegan ako hirap din humanap ng pang alternate ng everything dito sa MNL. Since, animal welfare advocate buong family we don't eat any animal flesh kahit sea foods hehe tas ayun nasanay na kami for years.

We're happy now kasi dami ng replacement sa milk and natural source ng protein aside sa egg. Hirap lang din tanggalin ang dairy products kasi minsan not sure kung ang inorder mong food or drinks sa shop ay dairy free nga talaga.

^hi break_free, what exactly did you find as a replacement sa milk and natural source ng protein aside sa egg?

I do gym. What is a good source of protein for vegetarians apart from nuts and beans? mahilig din kasi ako sa dairy medyo mahihirapan ako to give it up. And how about all sorts of bread sisses, tinanggal ba ninyo sa diet nyo?

Buhayin ang thread.I am vegan 5x a week and pescetarian 2x a week. kaso ako lang sa family namin. And when were out, fast food lagi lunch nila. Lagi pa ako pinipilit kumain, at sinasabi na minsan lang naman. The thing is, nahihirapan ako magdigest ng meats. Pag kumain kasi ako ng meat imbes fish eh constipated ang result. But I need iron and protein.
