^ sis help naman....i need a pedia dentist in alabang area....

kasi a month ago nadapa yun and nag crack(di siya natangal ha, buo siya pero kita mo na may crack...pero di nag chipped off), then that time ang sabi naman ng dentist niya sa abesamis festival wala naman daw bad na nangyari so kalmado lang kami...

then just this week namaga gums niya at nag ka fever, then ang sabi niya nasira daw, naguluhan naman ako kasi sabi niya before the tendency of the teeth to die is sobrang liit, tapos a month lang patay na? hindi nga siya nagdarken or anything, maputi padin....yun nga lang namaga gums niya....she opted for a tooth extraction na hesistant ako kasi 3 lang siya....


now ok na ulit kasi binigyan niya kami ng antibiotic....ayoko lang talaga ng tooth extraction....pag nagpa 2nd opinion ako at yun padin, go na...pero baka kasi may ibang dentist na iba ang maging solution...
kaya im looking for a second opinion....

Share ko lang pedia dentist ng anak ko. Intellicare at Medicard accredited sya. Just don't know kung ano pang health-card pwede sa kanya.

When my son was 2 yo, nadapa sya at nagchip yung tooth nya. Doon na nagstart masira ngipin nya hangang one day he kept on crying kasi masakit ngipin nya. So we went to a pedia-dentist and he advise us na iextract lahat ng tooth nya. Imagine 11 tooth and ieextract. So we decided to have a second opinion. Lumuwas kami sa Manila, (because we are originally from Baguio) and set an appointment with him. He gave us antibiotics, tapos nilinisan nya lang yung mga ngipin .Bilin nya everytime na kumakain o umiinom ng gatas ang bata punasan ng damp cloth yung ngipin. Thank God, we didn't have to resort to tooth extraction kasi ang tendency daw pag ginawa ito, magsusungki din paglaki kasi mawawala ng guide yung permanent teeth. My son is 6 now, at isa isa ng lumalabas permanent teeth nya. I am happy na maganda ang tubo ng ngipin nya. He still see his dentist every 2 months. Ang maganda kay doc, inaaply nya child psychology, may reward, tapos di nya binibigla yung bata. My son looks forward sa stickers na binibigay ni doc after every session.

I think he is one of the best in his field. I myself can attest to that. I have an impacted tooth na pahiga ang tubo. Instead of minor surgery, tooth extraction lang ginawa sa impacted tooth ko. Inalis nya yung ngipin ko na nakaharang sa impacted tooth,ibinabad nya sa saliva ko at the other corner of my mouth, inalis nya yung impacted tooth, then he replanted the tooth na nababad sa saliva. Amazing right? Pwede pala yun. Replanting tooth. He read of cases like this daw, he just didn't try it yet. So instant, naging case study nya ako and he presented it to his colleagues.

^sis, nung nag nagreklamo  kid mo sa ngipin niya namaga ba ang gums niya? un kasi nangyari sa anak ko now, nag crack lang siya at di nag chip off at isa lang naman pero yun nga after a month, sumakit at namaga at nagka fever siya....yung dentist niya binigyan siya ng antibiotic, after 7 days gumaling naman siya pero ang advise samin after gumaling  eh  tooth extraction which is super hesistant ako kasi 3 lang son ko....

hindi na tooth extraction anak mo?

^sis sent you PM. namaga din, nagfever din at uminom din ng antibiotics for 7 days. Tapos pinababalik na kami for extraction, all 11 tooth. Hindi na ako bumalik. My son is so young to be in anaesthesia. So nagsecond opinion kami. We found Dr. Giron and he advised us na punasan lang ng pinipirasong lampin yung ngipin ni baby everytime he eats/drink milk. Tapos regular visits lang where he puts flouride/gamot sa mga damaged teeth. It worked naman. Okay na tubo ng ngipin ni kiddo. We don't have to extract any teeth.

^ ano ka ba sis. Ako nga dinayo ko pa sya from Baguio. Pero happy naman ako sa results. Di talaga ako pumayag sa tooth extraction. Hope makahanap ka ng good pedia-dentist mo.

^^welcome beatrize. pa-appointment ka sis weekday kasi box office sya pag Saturday. Hindi lang mga bata patients nya, madami rin syang patient na matanda.

I have a silly question. May trick ba ang pedia-dentists to make the kids open their mouths? I want to take my daughter for her prophylaxis (first time, dapat matagal na eh) pero now pa lang nasstress na ko kung pano gagawin namin kase sa house lang pahirapan mag-brush ng teeth talaga.

I'm glad that I was able to read all the posts re. Pediatric dentists through this forum. I was able to make an informed decision in seeking-out a great dentist for my three-year old daughter. Last December 27, my daughter went through various dental procedures with the able hands of Dra. Georgina Roa-Remulla. It took her four very long hours to finish everything. My daughter had to be mildly sedated throughout her dental appointment. I'm glad that I didn't prolong my daughter's agony na & went through with it. Sobrang bait & skilled ng dentist Nya. No regrets whatsoever Kung may regret man I should've seen her earlier sana. Now magana na syang mag eat, she's no longer in pain when she chews her food, we'll-rested na ang pag tulog Nya, energetic & jolly na sya ulit & super beautiful na ulit ang smile nya [[/url]
Now medyo obsessed nko brushing her teeth diligently kase it literally breaks your heart to see your very young daughter go through a lot of pain coz I wasn't able to supervise  her brushing routine well... Bawi ako sa kanya...

I met Dra Remulla na earlier....and my only concern is she advised myson to have a baby root canal.....and fillings din sa other teeth....pero "conscious sedation" daw kelangan...ask ko lang...pls help po...may side effects ba yun? as in in the future? kasi diba ang GA meron kasi nagiging makaklimutin ka na...like what happened to me after 2 GA.... so ayoko namang may mangyari sa son ko...so pls enlighten me....pls pls...

Kailangan po bang i-extract ang baby teeth kung may tumutubo ng permanent? Hindi po ba sya mag cause ng sungki? TIA!

sis miclen20 nothing to worry kasi mabilis lang mailalabas ng katawan natin yung gamot na gamitin with sedation and very minimal lang gamitin, computed according to child's age and weight. actually, kahit sa GA wala pang studies na nakapagpatibay na nagiging makakalimutin tayo. i asked many anesthesiologist na and wala naman daw talaga.

sis vinceth02500 kung mobile o umuuga naman yung tooth pwede naman i-observe for few days to a week if it can fall off on its own, because of the eruption of oermanent teeth naitutulak nya palabas si baby teeth. pero kung medyo nagiging dahilan ang tumutubong permanent para maipit o hindi na matanggal ng kusa si baby teeth then extraction of baby teeth is the choice of treatment.

hello mga sis sa mga dentists nakapagprocedure na with your baby, ganun ba talaga amount ng fillings P900? di rin kase namanage mabuti teeth ni baby kaya may discoloration na hirap pagtoothbrushin din ni baby. total kaseng estimate bill namin ay P13k originAlly kung oral sedation the  maiba pa price kung may anaest. lalagyN din daw kase ng parang pasta yung ibang teeth. 😞

@spoiled brat it really depends on the location ng dentist. May 700-1250 pa nga per fillings. Pero sana maimprove mo yung brushing ng teeth ni baby. Sayang naman yung 13k na gagastusin mo then di naman maalagaan...

@vincseth20500 it depends on the situation ng tooth kung nag cacause ng infection and kaya pang isave ang tooth ay sana isave kasi the baby teeth would act as a guide para sa pagtubo ng permanent teeth. Pero if it cannot be saved, then have it extracted kasi baka magka infection. Also kung nakita ng dentist na prolonged ang stay ng ngipin and causes the sungki na then have it extracted.

@miclen20 tama si breadbox. Kinocompute muna pagmagsesedate. As long as you follow Doc Remulla's dos and donts sa pagsedate okay naman.

What usually happens immediately with conscious sedation e disoriented yung child and there's a chance na masuka because of nausea. Normally, yung mga younger childen biglang iiyak because of the disorientation & not because nasasaktan sila or anything serious. There's nothing to be alarmed with conscious sedation as long as you have a well-trained anesthesiologist and pedia dentist.

Hello mga sis. I called tooth fairy clinic this afternoon at nagpa appointment tomorrow para sa baby ko. Mismong si Dr. Jay ang nakausap ko. Too bad wala silang office pag Sunday, hindi ko tuloy masasamahan bukas ang baby ko. Sobrang bait at accomodating naman siya kausap sa phone. Sana magkasundo sila ni baby. I update ko kayo tomorrow how the check-up goes. Hindi siya nagpapabayad ng consultation.
