sis keejac21, how much did it cost u? ur son just had an oral sedation? was it done in the OR? really confused w/ what to do best re: my child's teeth. same age w/ ur son.

sis, sorry for the very late response. it cost me around 20k++. Yes, sa OR siya pinerform which is dapat talaga and may anesthesiologist na naka monitor doon. the procedure lasted for almost 2 hours plus 1 hour sa recovery room.

dr. de guzman of MCI was very good and he was true to his word-- kinagabihan nakakain naman ng normal yung son ko. my son's four front teeth were removed. as in decaying na talaga yon. we are scheduled for check-up this weekend after 3 monts na ginawa yung procedure.

My daughter had her 2nd visit with Dra. Carina Mabanta-Delos Reyes last Saturday. Her teeth were cleaned and flouride was applied. Binigyan nya na rin kami ng treatment plan for baby pero hubby and I have to make a lot of research and discuss it pa. Ang dami kasing kelangang gawin kay baby, extraction, possible root canal, crown etc. All these while baby is sedated. Aside from the cost implications, shempre iniisip din namin yung mga pwedeng maging effects kay baby after all these treatment.

Anyone here whose kid has a crown? Di pa nagkaka-singaw kids because of that or masakit sa bata?

Mukhang OK dito.. Sana may makapagbigay ng feedback. Nag inquire palang ako, Php500 ang consultation fee, Php1,500 ang cleaning with fluoride treatment.

I was considering Children's Dental Center in Makati kaso hindi sila Intellicare accredited. Mas mura ng Php200 yung sa cleaning with fluoride treatment sa Dentphix kesa CDC.

^hi sis, intellicare accredited ba tong dentphix? gusto ko din sana itry dito kasi mukhang ok nga siya. currently, sa tooth kingdom ang mga kids ko pero in fairness mas cheaper ang cleaning with flouride nila around 1200 or 1350 ata, pero hindi siya intellicare accredited.

^ Yes, Intellicare accredited ang Dentphix but they still have to get the Intellicare account # so they can verify first with your HMO kung kasama sa plan yung mga treatments nila, etc.

Hindi pa kami natuloy sa Dentphix. I tried to setup an appointment through text. Sabi ko gusto ko 11/24 10am. Nagreply na: Sige po mam pero pwede po bang 11AM nalang?" (Hindi ako pwede mas ma-late pa ng appointment kasi may pasok pa ako sa gabi) Nagsuggest ako ng ibang araw. Nagsasuggest na naman sya ng ibang araw. Tapos maya-maya, sabi nya, "kung gusto nyo po 11/24 pero 9:30am" Sabi ko, "wag nalang kasi kung hindi mo binigay sakin yung 11/24 10AM ibig sabihin may naka schedule ng oras na yan. I don't want the dentist to rush to this 10AM appointment". Kung ibibigay nya sakin yung 9:30am edi 30 minutes lang titignan yung anak ko, eh susme 2 years old palang to at first time pa magpapacheck up. Hindi pwedeng 30 minutes lang, parang imposible diba? Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba sinabi kong Intellicare kami. I wonder kung same din ang nangyari kung walang HMO involved.

Ang impression ko tuloy sobrang dami nilang clients to the point na sobrang ikli lang ang time na ina-allot nila per patient. Which is not good lalo na pedia-dentist. Tsk tsk tsk.

I might go with Children's Dental Clinic nalang, hindi sila HMO accredited pero friendly and accommodating yung naka text ko and I've read good reviews din naman sa kanila. Yun nga lang, P1700 for cleaning + fluoride.

^sis, san ba location mo? kung around north ka you can also try tooth kingdom better service and child friendly na mga pedia dentist ang ganda pa ng clinic nila nasa sm the block sila. actually dito yung dentist nung 3 kids ko kaya lang nung nag TOT kami sa funranch nag sponsor kasi yung dentphix tapos nanalo kami ng dau ko isang game and yung price is big bottle na toothpaste nila so far ok yung toothpaste nila with flouride na and safe kahit hindi siya ma spit ng bata.
 
on the other side, hindi nga lang siya intellicare accredited pero mas cheap ang cleaning with flouride nila around php1300 lang.  backread ka sis, marami na sa mga sisses natin ang customer nila and daming nice feedbacks

maganda teeth ng anak ko, wala pa natatanggal ang problem ko  nagsungki na yung lower teeth nya. any idea how much pabunot ngayon, PM nyo naman. recommend din kayo ng aganda clinic fairview area.thanks!

Just want to share my daughter's experience at Tooth Kingdom at The Block SM North. She's 2 years old and it's her first time to visit a dentist.  My daughter had cleaning and fluoride application under Dr. Junio. The whole procedure was smooth sailing.  Hindi umiyak si baby dahil ang galing mang-uto ni Dr. Junio. Total amount is P1,250 for cleaning and fluoride application.

^i agree! si dr. junio din ang nag tooth extraction sa 8yo son ko di nga natakot or kinabahan yung son ko imagine, may injection ng anesthesia yon.., yun wife naman niya yung pedia dentist ng dau ko super ok talaga nag service nila and affordable pa.

^Very accommodating also. She explains to me everything what to do sa front tooth nya. Medyo may stain na kasi nadapa sya before she turns 2 and ayun nagkaroon ng crack tooth nya. Hay...   Yun pa naman ang pinaka iniiwasan ko. It's either root canal daw or extraction. But she recommends root canal. Kasi it's too early pa daw for extraction. But right now, iwasan lang na wag sumakit para hindi na magkaroon ng procedure. So, alaga sa toothbrush, less sweets, cleaning and fluoride every 4 months.
