^ sis how did you know na pediatric dentist si dr ryan de guzman? naghahanap rin kasi ako ng pedia dentist sa imus kasi sa banawe pa kami dumadayo, e ngayon medyo hassle na sa schedule ng 2yo ko, every 3 months ang visit namin sa banawe. I googled dr de guzman kasi then nakalagay gen dentistry/orthodontics sya.  thanks

I know there are 5 dentists practicing pedatric dentistry  based sa cavite, pero only 3 of them have their clinics in cavite.

hi! has anyone tried dra. charisse de dios-tiongson? she's the 3rd dentist i consulted re:my 2yr old daughter's decaying two front teeth. so far she's the one i am comfortable with. dr. ryan de guzman is ok but pretty costly for he only conducts sedation in imus medical center; such hospital requires sedation to be done only in their operating room. cost is around 20k just for the sedation. 😓

also, i am really worried about conscious sedation but as per dra. tiongson that would be the only way for my daughter is still young to undestand and to cooperate. she was screaming horribly when dra. tried assessing the conditions of her teeth. she just needs filling for her two front teeth and 2 for premolars. sadly, uncooperative. sayang coz my company covers such procedure pa naman for as long as it will be done by our in-house dentist. haist. now, we wont be throwing her a party in sept. 2. (she's turnung 2 then) bec. the entire budget will go to her teeth reconstruction which for me is more important. (the people around me think otherwise tho coz they are insisting, even her pedia, that her teeth are just milk teeth and will be replaced soon. oa daw ako...😒

Dr. Eric hernandez of St. Luke's Global. Im very happy with his service kasi ang galing niya with kids. My son who goes wild as in wild if hes restrained was very cooperative in Dr. hernandez's hands. 1.5yo son ko. Hes very patient and answers all your questions. He was able to inspect everything and hindi natrauma anak ko. In fact it was such a positive experience for him, that he keeps brushing his teeth all the time now.

I highly recommend Dr. Lourdes Caparas.  She's really very professional and good with kids.

Sis ynazki, cleaning lang sa akin no flouride ( kasi no need daw ) php 1k. Kala ko kasi may cavities anak ko but doc said its just a hematoma caused by the tooth erupting from the gums.

Wait, let me clarify, he inspected my sons teeth, got a small toothbrush n bushed his teeth. I dont know if its considered cleaning or check up lang.

sis cahdine, for me, it is really best that you have your son's teeth restored. yes, it's only baby teeth, will fall off, will be replaced... but it will take some time, there's an appropriate age for it to be replaced by permanent teeth. it's better to prevent him from experiencing any tooth aches that may have effects on his diet and sleep.

with regards to pediatric dentists or dentists practicing pediatric dentistry, it is best to check if they are affiliated with philippine pediatric dental society inc., i think they have a website. it is the only governing body of pediatric dentists here in the philippines recognized by professional regulation commission or prc.

may kilala ba kayong pedia dentist sa medical city? sobra nakakaawa na kasi yung eldest ko 3 years old. she already lost her front teeth - actually 4 teeth na. we brought her once sa pedia dentist sa SM Marikina - can't remember the name of the clinic - but natakot naman sya so we brought her na lang sa dentist namin. dun na-cleaning teeth nya and nalagyan din ng filling yung katabi nung mga napudpod para ma-save and di madamay. kaso yung mga part na pudpod lagi nag-b-bleed, sabi ng dentist nakalabas daw yung nerves kaya dumudugo pag natatamaan.

mga sis may kilala ba kayo na ok na pedia dentist sa QC. maybe SM north, para malapit lang. My daughter is 3 yo and her 2 upper teeth e napupudpod na, hindi naman siya kumakain ng candies or sweets. no soda or whatsoever pero napudpod pa din, guessing that it's the milk and even though I have this doubt na she'll cooperate but I want her teeth to be checked pa din.. any reco mga sis. thanks.
