question lang po mga sis,  kailangan ba talaga pedia dentist ? my kid is already 7 yr old, sa regular dentist namin ko siya dinadala pero ayaw siya bunutan kahit may lumalabas ng permanent teeth...hayaan lang daw at kusa daw na matatanggal...

i wonder if i really have to find a pedia dentist for her?

There's really no need to get a pedia dentist as long as your child is not extra fussy or afraid of the dentist. 
Your dentist right now is actually doing a good thing by not doing anything.     Philosophically, there are changes that happens to a child when they lose their teeth and by letting the process happen as nature intends it to brings them more into balance with what is happening with their body.  In other words, okay lang yun!
Unless, there is discomfort or infection, just let it happen.

I bring my kids to Dr. Malou Medrano in Makati, she is also a nursery school teacher and she's totally great with my kids.  Pedia dentist sya, pero hindi dahil takot ang kids ko, si mommy ang me phobia hehe.  just wanted to make sure...

@ myquaintlife  - Actually na-oo-vercome naman niya yung fear niya sa dentist, lalo na if you promised something after the appointment like ice cream or going to the mall

Hello! Nagfall out na yung wiggly tooth ng daughter ko a week ago and I noticed last sunday during mass na may naka-usli na tooth already. Kaya lang parang sobrang nasa likod ng ibang teeth niya. Magmomove pa ba yun para pumantay? Thanks!

Is there a way ba para mag-sleep si baby habang chinecheck ni dentist ang teeth?

Clueless kasi ako, may phobia kasi ang mother pag sa dentist talaga. hehe.

Kaya as much as possible ayoko makaramdam kahit anong kirot or anything si baby.

^^ meron sis.. if they passed the weight req'ts sinesedate nila ang baby that's if medjo tedious yun gagawin.. they're not fully asleep mejo groggy lang daw as explained by our pedia.. ako yan naman ang dilemma ko.. kasi may procedures na gagawin sa baby ko and mejo iyakin pa naman yun so yan ang recom sa min.. kaso my hubby and in-laws don't want that.. kaya ayun..

^^ pm'd you the # sis! if i remember it right, cleaning yung first.. check kung naba brush ng maayos.. nga pala meron sila even on sundays sa abesamis saturday naman on asian kay dra tala..

^ ahh talaga.. buti ka pa.. naku sa min ayaw isedate si baby eh.. pero as per our dentist safe naman daw and before procedures all meds needs to be cleared by your pedia naman.. so may medcert needed and all that
