Ano ok na salad dressing na nabibili sa grocery? Like Bravo, Dizon's, ok ba yun? I tried yung Mango Mio na mango vinaigrette ng Clare Ole. YUCK! Nakaka-trauma na tuloy bumili, buti sana kung sachet lang yun na tig-P10.

^ my mom buys the Dizon brand (minsan kasi pati yung veggies, yung pre-packed ng Dizon's binibili nya) Masarap yung Bravo pero we haven't tried salad dressing. Parang bottle tomato-based pasta sauce yung binili namin before e.

I use Dizon Farms Strawberry Vinaigrette with iceberg lettuce then I put mandarin oranges, seedless grapes, corn, croutons, cream cheese, and ripe mangoes.

Most of you here buy the pre-packed salad veggies such as salad time or dole. Meron ba sainyo na bumibili ng veggies sa groceries (sealed or packed) then just wash it yourself?

I love salads- to think nung kid ako never ako kumain ni isang gulay. Buti natuto ako kumain nito. super sarap and kakabusog.

My fave- goolai salads. Usually, good for 2-3 meals sakin isang pack. However, there are days, actually 2-3 days a week lang ako may access sakanya. i could eat goolai everyday. Kaya nakakalungkot. I am thinking of making my own packed salads to take sa work sana

Do you use EVOO or just olive oil for your salad? i tried making my own vinaigrette before, ugh, pait na maasim. I am tempted  to buy nalang vinaigrette dressing.

^ I got mine at Landmark Trinoma, sis. I haven't noticed it sa Rustan's supermarket.

For vinaigrette, may way yata ng pag-whisk/blend, di ko rin matantiya.  I always end up using too much lemon.  (lemon + olive oil naman ang sa akin)

^Sis weirdzz punta ka lang sa bread section/salad dressing section ng mga supermarket for sure may croutons dun. I get mine from Cash and Carry supermarket.

@ rhumbafrapp ako i buy yung mga veggies sa grocery then i wash it na lang. Pag yung prepacked kasi na salads kulang pa sa akin isang pack nun so ang mahal naman kung 2-3 packs bibilhin ko. I also make my own dressings kasi i try to stay away sa commercially made dressings na may mga preservatives.

@ sis marose17 and  rhumbafrapp, basic vinaigrette is 1:3 ang ratio. For every part of acid, add 3 parts evoo. Example: 1 tablespoon acid like balsamic, lemon or acv add ka ng 3 tablespoons of EVOO. Then add ka ng seasoning like salt and pepper if u want or honey or any flavor na fruit preserves for sweetener. Pwede din maglagay ng konting garlic. Basta follow lang yung ratio ng oil and acid then pwede ka na magdagdag ng kahit anong pangtimpla depends kung gusto mo ng salty, sour or sweet na vinaigrette. Ako i just whisk with fork ng mabilis. Tapos i put candied walnuts sa veggies saka parmesan or minsan slivered almonds. Pag honey mustard naman ang ginagawa ko literal na honey and mustard na pinaghalo. I dont put mayo para iwas fat pero kung gusto magadd ng konting mayo pwede naman

Whopee been eating salad for 1-2 meals since Friday. So happy kasi nababago ko slowly yun food  intake ko. I still eat rice, mostly during breakfast, pero i look forward sa meals na salad

I bought breast fillet sa supermarket,  marinated it in rosemary and pepper. squeezed some calamansi and roasted it sa oven. the taste is herby-flavorful but dry pero perfect for salad. Brands such as Gourmet, sweet bee. I saw yun DOLE pero angkonti e
I bought gourmet packs of romaine and iceberg lettuce. I washed it very carefully and did my best to shake shake to remove the water since wala pa ako salad spinner. I stored it sa ref sa lock and lock. Good siya for  mga 3 meals.
I also bought goat cheese, kernel corn, and some fruits (apples, mangoes)

To assemble: just put the salad greens, followed by the chicken, fruits, corn, then lastly drizzle ko ng rasp vinaigrette and top with goat cheese. Super sarap.

Magastos din but atleast i do not feel deprived at all.
