hello salad lovers!

all time favorite ko talaga ang Ceasar Salad!

anyway, can you recommend a yummy salad dressings? please na din yung brand and where to buy lalo na for those salad dressings na mahirap hanapin.

also, if you have a make-your own recipe for salad dressings, please share.

as for the greens, lettuce lang ba or may iba pang puwede?

Hi Sis marami ka pwede magawang dressing pwede ka mag experiment,depende sa taste mo like you can use or combine honey and vinaigrette,raspberry and vinaigrette,honey and olive oil,egg yolk mustard and honey meron na din nabibili na instant dressing by clara ole you can choose pa,for the greens  try rin ang arugula medyo bitter lang ang lasa some use young fern leaves.

actually, may hinahanap ako na brand ng salad dressings..sa world trade ko siya nakita dati pa and nasa supermarket siya but now wala na siya..too bad, i forgot kung anong brand yun. mukhang locally made siya (not Dizon).

hindi ako healthy-eater kaya favorite salad dressings ko rin yung mga creamy like caesar and creamy balsamic. pag ako mismo ang nagpe-prepare ng caesar salad sa bahay, i just buy off the supermarket shelves--yung lady's choice or clara ole (in doy pack). okay naman.

super yummy yung Strawberry Vinaigrette ng Kraft, i think sa Duty Free shops yun nabibili. and meron din ata ang Dizons nun.

my salad consists of:
- romaine lettuce
- grated cheese
- hard boiled eggs
- bacos bacon bits
- strawberry vinaigrette or kung wala, honey mustard salad dressing from lady's choice

i tried putting sliced grapes and ripe mango cubes sa salad and it tasted good.

macaroni salad ng wendy's minus the dressing, i like it bare

last xmas and new year, gumawa ako ng green salad kase sobra makasalanan na yung mga handa namin.

hit naman sa mga oldies.. plus yun lang talaga ang mga gusto ko laman ng green salad. kahit wala na nga tomato eh.

i have a salad dressing mixer like this. i got one from crate and barrel (but not the one on the link i gave) pero nabasa so i got another from rustan's.

may recipes siya na kasama and i've tried most of them - some with red wine/white wine/balsamic vinegar, mustad, etc.

favorite ko yung may balsamic vinegar. mix lang with olive oil, balsamic, sugar, peppers, basil.

i also sometimes buy yung mga kraft fat-free dressing - caesar, ranch, etc.

if i make salad at home, i use different kinds of lettuce, spinach and arugula (i love arugula!) or sometimes i just buy the pre-cut greens from the supermarket, salad time yata yung name. then i add cherry tomatoes (i also love cherry tomatoes!), cucumbers, hard-boiled egg, or grilled chicken strips seasoned with salt and pepper.

sa restaurants naman, some of the ones i like:
- caesar salad at italianni's, friday's, etc
- salad with balsamic dressing and beef at cibo
- thai crunch salad at cpk
- bbq chicken chopped salad at cpk

i don't make one at home.. hindi rin kasi ako mahilig except for the macaroni salad my dad makes (but i request na easy on the mayonnaise kasi ayoko talaga ng madami )

i only eat it sa resto and eto lang kinakain ko (hehe!):

- bbq chicken & thai crunch salad from CPK
- roka salata from Cyma
- seafood caesar salad from Burgoo
- macaroni side salad from Wendy's

I'm addicted to Cyma's Roka Salata. Gusto ko talaga matutunan pano gawin yung dressing so I can prepare the salad at home.

Dizon's salad dressing - caesar, honey mustard
May nakapack na pre-washed lettuce with salad dressing na nakasachet either caesar or honey mustard i forgot the brand
The salad dressing of sonya's garden is good. They sell it in small bottles.
The caesar salad dressing of sbarro is also good.
The salads at CPK are always comforting.
The asian salad at banapple is good.
Sometimes I just drizzle extravirgin olive oil, del monte cane vinegar, lemon on the salad and sprinkle some salt and pepper.
