do you mean the globe carinderia  sa me quiapo? ive tried it several times and they say that its known talaga for its lumpia... it has only one branch... sa akin ang trademark nila is mas manipis ang wrapper ang madaming garlic and peanuts sila na nilalagay,,, honestly sa sobrang mura nila.... id rather buy na lang if i have the time :)

yung manipis na wrapper i think its a vietnamese wrapper. nabibili yan na dry at super tigas na bilog ang shape. ilulubog mo muna sa water para lumambot bago mo ilagay ang mga ingredients.

Father ko nag luto ng fresh Lumpia at siya rin mismo nag cook ng wrapper, the same like the one for crepe. Super sarap. Gutom tuloy ako.

samin naman we use

ground pork, kintsay (madami), pepper, salt, shrimp cubes (shredded), eggs, flour, carrots, onion, garlic.

what we do pagnagpagiling ng karne, kasabay na carrots, onion, garlic. then to follow na lang yung kintsay, salt, pepper, shrimp cubes, eggs and flour.

I asked my friend to make Lumpiang Shanghai for my son`s birthday. She included red bell pepper. And surprisingly, ang sarap.

Then ang technique naman niya para crispy pa din pagka luto at before i-serve, ilagay muna sa oven (50 degrees). Actually lahat ng niluto namen na natapos na ng maaga, nilagay sa oven  ;)

mine is super easy lang.
ground pork, egg, chopped celery, carrots, chopped mushrooms, minced onions and garlic, salt and pepper, then i use wanton wrappers

family told me, its masarap kasi meron crunch from the celery and may added texture and taste from the mushrooms.:D
