@mistykaye_p: how does one apply for an IT position? on ADB's website kasi puros mga sa finance department yata ang kailangan nila.

^ same thing sis, online application thru the website. abangan mo na lang yung mga postings for possible openings on IT positions. regular naman ang updates ng staff vacancies.

^^ sis snix, ADB doesn't accept fresh grads. most requirements call for "at least 5 years of relevant work experience." kaya wala kang makikitang young and fresh faces dito except yung mga contractors.

Ma-qualify po kaya ako sa ADB? Most of my job experience is in the banking industry. I used to work with BDO for almost a year and now I've been working w/ metrobank for more than 4 years pero sa branch operations ako. Pwede ba'ko sa admin nila? Or ano pa ba ang relevant positions na pwede ako ma qualify? Thanks po.

I applied at ADB last month, and around 3 weeks lang when I received an email from them inviting me for an exam. I passed the exam (which is relatively easy, yun nga lang sobrang pressured sa time) and will be having my interview this week. Nakakakaba!

thank you, mga sis. sobrang nagppray talaga ako kasi ever since gusto ko talaga sa ADB.
@pinkishme: yup sa finance ako. kakaiba nga eh, kasi although 5 years experience ako, entry level ang inaapplyan ko. hehe. sabi nung HR pag my "assistant" sa dulo ng position name, yun daw yung entry level nila.

Gusto ko din pumasok diyan sa ADB, but i have to wait for five years pa, since 4 and a half years na ako sa PNB... ayayayaya... next year nlang ako apply. =)

@bellevi: hi sis. di ko kilala yung HR. i applied online lang, then i got en email saying na mag-eexam ako. tapos ayun, tuloy-tuloy na. try mo rin sis, hiring daw sila eh. actually, 3 posts yung inapplyan ko, basta ok at pasok ako sa requirements, nagpass ako.  in the end, sa isa lang ako pumasok.
