Hmmm, my hubby's dad worked there before and ang alam ko super ganda ng benefits dito. Imagine lima silang magkakapatid and libre schooling nila plus insured silang lahat. Hindi ko matanong bout admin asst pero ang pagkakaalam ko malaki raw magpasahod ang ADB eh. Retired na kasi dad niya eh.

^^i think salary depends on the level/position. hindi ko nga lang alam yung brackets per level because i don't work there.

hello.. sabi nga office mate ko before yung friend nya is working as an admin asst sa ADB 35K daw ang salary tapos tax free

what about for the consultants? because technically, hindi employed ng ADB - the position is outsourced elsewhere, hindi ba nakakaranas ng discrimination? hehe.

^nope sis.  wala namang discrimination though sympre meron talagang priveleges ang regular staff na wala sila.  And they have their own place or workstation din where they can work.  Ganda nga ng hostel nila e.. hehe...

na-notice ko lang na madami ng consultants sa ADB unlike before.

may churchmate si hubby dito. he used to work in a bank, then he tried his luck sa ADB. ayun, medyo matagal daw yung process and nosebleed ang interviews. lahat ng interviews niya, expat lahat. then his final interview was a panel of about 10 expats. the questions were more of a problem solving/ issue resolution but with direct answers. purely situational. meron iba jargon d niya alam kasi more of economic stability of other countries. sabi niya 20% lang daw ang alam niyang sagot dun sa interview. he thought d na siya makapasa kasi well, mahirap talagang pumasa sa ADB. but with God's grace, he got accepted and he was suprised with his pay kasi sobrang taas daw. ayun, tax free pa siya.

omigosh! natakot naman ako sa kwento mo sis!   siguro kung managerial post, malamang ganito talaga ang process, pero kung rank and file lang (like me ), sana naman hindi ganito ka-tedious yung process nila.

somebody told me na pag admin assistant, mas tedious, kase mas maraming applicants.
