^definitely!  That's where Osaka Station is.  May JR Trains diyan.  The big malls are there too.  Daimaru and Yodobashi Camera are my fave.  The Osaka Station is very beautiful.  I loved Umeda more than the Dotonburi area.

i'm planning a 7D/6N trip to Osaka-Kyoto area and i wanna time it during the cherry blossom season. my tentative itinerary is 2N in Kyoto & 4N in Osaka, but i'm still very much confused if i'll make it 3N in Kyoto & 3N in Osaka.

kaya ko kasi naisip na mas mahaba sa Osaka kasi syempre aside sa usual Osaka tourist spots, one full day will be consumed by USJ and a full day to Yoshino for cherry blossom viewing. saan ba mas convenient manggaling papuntang Yoshino - should i come from Kyoto or Osaka?

sa Kyoto naman, aside from the usual tourist spots, i wanna watch GEAR and gusto ko i-timing sa lunchtime yung Nishiki Market and spend 2-3 hrs there, pero medyo tight ang sked, so question naman: marami pa rin bang open sa Nishiki ng 3-5pm (kung sakaling di ko talaga maisingit sa lunchtime)? foodtrip ang peg namin.

You don't need to go to Yoshino for the Cherry blossom viewing. It's everywhere in Kyoto and Osaka. I would do 3 nights in Osaka and 3 nights in Kyoto

but after researching how to travel going to Yoshino, parang sobrang nakakapagod yung travel, whether i'll be coming from Kyoto or Osaka... haaaayyy, i dunno. baka nga hindi na. para kasing ang romantic lang sa Yoshino, haha.

mga sis, question naman. has anyone of you tried hiring a rental car (w/ driver) for your Kyoto tour? if yes, how much?

kasi as i was preparing our itinerary, taking note of which train or bus to take, parang sobrang nakakapagod na hindi kakayanin ang 5 spots in 1 day dahil going from one place to another ubos na agad ang oras and energy.

or most of you DIY talaga ang ginawa? ayoko kasi ng super haggard, gusto ko sana yung mae-enjoy mo talaga, hindi yung tipong rushing from one site to another, walking to/from train/bus stations all throughout the day.

another alternative is joining a tour group (so may vehicle na kasama), kaso i want to manage our own time, hindi yung naka-depende sa tour group. kaya best option talaga samin is private car rental w/ driver, kaso magkano naman kaya yun. haaayyy, ang gulo-gulo ko, hehe.

Bf and i are planning to go here probably sa 2015 pa if not next year.. Itataon namin sa April for cherry blossoms. Can someone give me their itinerary including USJ and other places to visit, yung sulit talaga for a five day trip.  Itinerary and budget sana.

Yung friend kasi namin ang sabi 18k daw nagastos niya per day lang yun which I think is too much. Sana yung kahit tig 10k or 15k kami or masyado kurips?

Sis esor and shygirlme hindi kayo magsisisi sa wizarding world of hp. Napuntahan ko yung sa orlando grabe kakatuwa talaga. Super astig yung ride para kang kasama ni harry na lumilipad sa movie. The best ride ever talaga. Plus nakailang bili kami ng butterbeer lol! Pati yung every flavor beans tawa kami ng tawa kasi yung dirt lasang alikabok [textspeak!]. ^ Maybe overnight at the least. There was a time we worked in Osaka and my co-worker left Saturday night to Kyota. She slept there and then adventured the whole Sunday. She got back Sunday late at night and just in time for work on Monday but she was haggard.



Question: How far is Itami Airport to Namba/Shinsaibashi? Is it somewhat the same if it's KIX to Namba/Shinsaibashi?

@sis esor and shygirlme, relax lang hehe ang napuntahan ko na wizarding world of hp yung sa orlando, florida. Nung nalaman ko na open na yung sa usj eh i plan to go din at least kasi mas mura airfare at mas malapit kaya nandito ko sa thread hehe. Ang masasabi ko lang ang mahal lol! Pero sobrang sulit as in lalo na yung ride. Ang alam ko may award yung ride na harry potter and the forbidden journey. As in kahit mahaba pila twice kami sumakay. Mahal lahat ng bilihin. Pero maaaliw kayo kasi may tinda silang wands,  etc basta pagpasok ng park hogsmeade agad nandun ang zonko's etc para kang natransform sa setting ng hp. Nandun din ang hogwarts express. Di na namin inisip budget kasi that time sa orlando lang meron nun so sayang naman pamasahe namin kung di pa namin sulitin. Ang entrance sa universal dun eh nasa 4k per head. Mga mods kung OT man to paremove na lang. Sorry.
