^just to give you an idea:

accomodation: there are hostels in osaka-kyoto ranging from 2000 yen-3000 yen per head per day. mid-range business hotels, around 6000 yen.

meals: one set meal is around 1500 yen. coke/bottled water from the vendo is 100-150 yen each...

entrance fees: USJ = 5800 yen; temples in kyoto = 300-600 yen.
                     train tickets = depends sa layo. you can check hyperdia.com.
                     
i mentioned before yun one day bus pass in kyoto. it`s really practical.

a bowl of ramen range from 200 yen - 2000 yen.
depends on the size of the bowl, ingredients and soup quality.

I must say the average price of ramen if 600-800 yen.

A meal in mcdo and first kitchen costs 400-600 yen.  You can even print coupons from the web even in black and white

if you`ll convert, it`s quite expensive talaga. mid-range restaurants pa lang yun.
ramen costs around 750-850. mcdo set meal is 600-750. almost same sa yoshinoya.
if you want to be practical (and immerse na rin sa culture nila) buy bento meals from the convenience stores 500 yen above.

what i find ironic but funny here in japan is that yun mr. donut at krispy kreme, almost same lang ang price hehe...

hey sis, madali lang ba kumuha ng Tourist Visa sa Japan? How long did you stay there and how much budget?

We're planning to go to Kyoto and Tokyo by June/May next year. 100k budget.

^^ hi, sis. i have company-sponsored visa so no experience at all on how to get tourist visa. but according to a friend who applied, it`s much easier to get tourist visa in japan than in the US. easier because you just have to prove na you can afford to travel (bank statements, proof of assets, employment, etc) while in the US, medyo subjective, di ba? depende sa mood ng consul. 
just see to it that all your documents are in order at walang discrepancies.

nowadays, all tourist visa applications are coursed through accredited agencies. sis jappsie before recommended PIASI. 850 lang ata if they`ll pick up your documents.

Universal Studio is in Osaka,you can enjoy this,outside the airport,you can check the bus going there.

yes, I have been there,if the people are adult na,ok ang kyoto but if may children,ok ang Universal Studio.
