sis, baka dahil trail shoes sya, it was a bit heavier on structure.

before buying shoes, pa check ka muna, as iba iba talaga ang mga paa natin. Ako what works for me are NB, Adidas and TnF for trail. :)

New Balance lightweight cushioning shoes work best for me. :)
My arc and pronation are both neutral. :)

I love ASICS Gel Kayano but for short distance i use VIBRAM Five Fingers..

mga sis, before you buy your running shoes its better if you run with it first...Kaya its good to buy from stores na may threadmill sa loob ng store (RUNNR and The Brick Multisport Store has threadmill so you can check them out)..The Brick Multisport  Store is also on sale for up to 30% till Feb 13! My boyfriend's mom bought her Asics Gel Kayano in The Brick and she absolutely love it! ;D

But how's Vibram? I've been lemming on it for months already.

  SM has them but sa Planet Sports and Athlete's Foot (they have the newest styles) they have more styles for women. I am a fan of this brand so will highly recommend them anytime for the gym. Tho if you're not going to use them specifically for running lang, then consider they're crosstrainers, you can also run in them. Ok naman yung running shoes for weights and ex. machines pero not good if you're doing cardio classes. Try also Reebok, Adidas. especially pag nag sale. One brand that I like and made for a woman's foot is Ryka. Saw the store Aktiv sa Trinoma carries them pala, their Studio D style and a Running shoe was on sale at P1.5K lang.

Went to Runnr at highstreet and they did the whole analyzing my gait thing, afterwards they recommended me some shoes to choose from. I picked Mizuno; no regrets. I mostly do my jogging on asphalt / sometimes cement - both very bad surfaces. Sometimes I run on soil at the ateneo high track oval when I feel like being alone. =)

^ A friend told me before, that when it comes to gym shoes, don't get those with "springs" or "air pockets" sa heel part as your heels won't be properly cushioned especially when lifting weights. They are ok for running and jogging as they give more bounce to your step pero when lifting weights, ibang shoes dapat.

@avesoriano
-- They're called Vibram maam. :) they work on the idea of being barefoot. Surprisingly, a lot of people purchase and use them malling. which is kind of weird. or something. But yeah, it actually mimics the feeling of running barefoot. A lot of people are happy with it. so far. That is if you're a fan of the radical. But if you're a regular lady who wants to lose weight, or sculp your buns and thighs without much pain, stick to New Balance, or if you have the dough, Asics. :) You can also use them if you suddenly develop a drive to run faster and do longer distances. As for me, im staying with adidas. :)

I'm curious about the Skechers Resistance Runner.  Mga sisses, meron bang gumagamit sa inyo ng shoes na to? it's a bit pricey though, 5k nung chineck ko sa Skechers store sa market market.
