super intrigued ako dito, actually next in line ko na dapat sya, kaso nabasa ko sypnosis nya sa net, parang medyo nabagabag ako, parang ang sakit nya sa loob, or it really worth it? Hindi ba masakit sa dibdib pag binabasa ito? Pag nababasa ko kasi comment dito para gusto ko na rin syang basahin

^Depende yan sis sa reader For me, nakukulangan pa ko sa action, gore and all. Parang kung magpapatayan lang din kayo, gawin ng visual diba? haha For me, it lacks visual appeal. Like I can imagine yung mga sinasabi nung author pero kulang pa since ganyan din yung concept, take it to the edge.

^^ Sis janzphynx: I agree, depende sa reader. Iba-iba talaga ang taste and perception. For me naman, it was exciting ang suspenseful and I couldn't put the book down until I finished. IMHO  maganda yung pagkaka-build ni Suzanne Collins ng universe niya and its concepts. The characters are fleshed out and you can really get a sense of their personalities, even those that are present for only a short time. Tama ka, medyo masakit sa dibdib in some parts of the books. Na-affect ako.

i've read Hunger Games, i guess, 2 months ago. and i love it! but i havent started on reading Catching Fire, even though i have an ebook already. my bf bought me Hunger Games in hardbound, so i will just save up first, to get myself a hardbound as well for Catching Fire. sometimes, i am tempted to read it as ebook, but then again this is one book that is definitely worth buying, so probably i just have to wait. hehe.

Between Gale and Peeta. They're very opposite. Peeta is more sweet, he puts his heart on his sleeve. Naaawa ako sa kanya especially since Katniss really doesn't feel any romantic feelings for him. But he still make an effort. Kaya may points cya. Gale naman is more practical, reserve and not too showy of how he feels. Manly (bad boy rugged looks) and can take care of his family just using his wits and ability for hunting. Who doesn't love a guy like that? Right? Kaya which is which? He he

^Oo nga sis, can't decide. The next book will be more on Gale I guess than Peeta. I can't wait to read it. I wonder also how the show gonna be?

@aprilsmith - ay sis, you nailed it! oo, rebel with a cause and I also feel na equals nga sila ni Katniss. Sana maganda ang movie, I would really LOVE to see Gale hunting.

^O nga. sana nga maganda. I love how Suzanne Collins made or describe the world they were at, it's like ala Dark Angel. With sectors and precinct. The different fashion/style they have like they were mutant, is like the reject experiment in Dark Angel too. People that look half human-half animal. I love that show, wish they didn't stop.
