tagal naman ng paperback... minsan pag nasa national ako parang natetempt na ako bumili ng hardcover, kahit 759 sya. Pinipigilan ko na lang sarili ko hehe... lagot na lang pag suweldo na

^go get it in hardbound. Indulge yourself. Its worth it naman. Well in my case, all my favorite books are in hardbound. For example, if I buy a book in paperback and I loved it, I buy the hardbound version of it. Lasts longer in the bookshelves kasi.

Anyways, I have both Hunger Games and Catching Fire but I haven't started reading Catching Fire. Ayoko mabitin. I'm Team Peeta!

^ Yay! Apir! Haha. Natuwa naman ako at may ka-tribo ako dito. Majority of the THG readers I meet are Team Peeta. Sa mga kilala ko, 4 are Team Gale (and that's if I include myself) while there are 7 Team Peeta.

O nga, lapit na August. Excited na ko. Sana sa August 24 talaga. Pagbukas ng bookstore, nandun na. Parang HP.

I am having a hard time on the 2nd book. As in ilang pages palang ako, inaantok na ko. I set it aside muna then read other books. Yung first book, ok lang for me, nakukulang lang ako sa action and gore (I'm weird, don't ask lol).

@AprilSmith - apir galore! now that you mention it, oo nga parang karamihan nga ng kakilala ko si Peeta ang gusto. pero ako kasi talagang solid Team Gale eh. I've always had a thing for street-smart, rugged and brooding characters hehe.

Can't wait na for book 3. I checked pa nga sa Fully Booked if kailangan pa ba magpa-reserve kaso hindi naman daw. I guess since yung popularity ng books is di naman ka-level ng HP or Twilight noon.

Sobra na akong curious about THAT district kung ano ba talaga. Siyempre ayaw ko naman mag-spoiler dito.

^ Ako din! Gale na ko from the start. Omg yes, street-smart, rugged, and brooding. Idagdag pa na he's a tall, dark, and handsome rebel with a cause. Hayyy. Also, I think he and Katniss are soulmates and equals. They understand each other, and she's her true self with him.

Pipilitin kong makakuha morning pa lang. Para maumpisahan na ng lunchbreak. I haven't been this excited about a series since HP. Sana maglabas na sila ng casting news!

Im reading this now. Im on the half of the book na and i find it boring. Ganun ba talaga? It seems na ako lang ako hindi nagagandahan dito
But i'll try to finish the book it might change my perception about this book.

What I like of the story is the setting, it's like Dark Angel that they have areas and restrictions, about future, coffee, chicken or food in general is hard to come by etc. Ang naiba lang is Dark Angel was a secret soldier weapon being spy/escape dito sa book more on the gowns, preparation before being on tv. I wish it's a little darker. Wish in the 3rd book it will be.

^^Yan din feeling ko sa 1st book. Kaya di ko matuloy yung 2nd book. Its not something na pupuyatin ako. I'm hoping na ok ang 2nd book considering ang daming nagsasabi na maganda nga daw.

@aprilsmith - ay sis, you nailed it! oo, rebel with a cause and I also feel na equals nga sila ni Katniss. Sana maganda ang movie, I would really LOVE to see Gale hunting.

@heavensent - ganyan ako dun sa second book, sis. dun sa first medyo tamang pacing lang pero pagdating sa second book, hala! di ko na nabitiwan.
