@JLO

^Last time I check, hindi pag-kain ang mga babae, hindi bagay. If a guy really wants the girl, he should have the guts to pursue her.

Tamad mangligaw. Gusto instant relationship na. Yung mga taong ganyan, hindi pangmatagalan.

idk how to group the guys.. but, dapat maging open tayo sa manliligaw kasi we will never know kasi who has the real genuine intention...

maybe we can focus sa mga bagay na meron tayo ngayon.. like our family, perhaps be closer to them.. find more time to bond with them and also with our friends. sa work, or sa spiritual wellness.. baka may mga hindi pa kayo nattry na sports or any recreational activities.. before we share our life with someone else, it's best to ask ourselves: na-maximize ba natin ang single life natin? :)

been single until i'm 25 years old. now i'm in a 2 years relationship already.

i remember sabi ng matatanda samin "lumandi" daw ako para magkaroon ng bf. i don't think this helps kasi i don't have any idea where or how to start. i dated one guy lang but i didn't work kasi after all i realized he's not my type. instead i focused na lang on my own social lifestyle, being with close friends, spending more time with my family and worked hard for a better career. eventually i found my partner sa work din.

so i guess just go with the flow. don't harsh yourself on the fact that you're still single. and enjoy your single life dahil kapag nagkaroon ka na ng partner definitely mamimiss mo ang buhay single mo. ^^

21 here! currently attending grad school

Well, at first it's by choice since estudyante ako (good girl kuno).

Now that I have finished college without a bf, I think I am just plain UGLY and NOT ATTRACTIVE

Walang gaanong thrill.

Funny! We're almost in the same boat. Have this NBSB friend who will be having a BF soon and she's telling me all their lovey dovey moments and every time, I think "NBSB na yata ako forever :( "

and here I thought I'm the oldest NBSB in the country  :D

sa totoo lang wala naman ako nakikita mali sa pagiging NBSB, yung mga taong hindi lang maaccept na there are people like us, gaya ng may mga bakla at tomboy.  Ewan ko ba kung sino pa mga kaclose mong tao or like your family sila pa natatakot or namprepressure sa katulad nating NBSB na para bang abnormal ang walang lovelife! Anyways, turning 30 this year and i'm looking forward celebrating it but my family and loved ones are like hala 30 ka na wala ka pa din bf, plano mo bang maging old  maid blah blah blah  ::)  sana man lang suportahan na lang nila ako haiz

to all NBSB out there cheers! :)

sa mga nasa 20's at worried sa pagiging NBSB, just take your time bata pa naman kayo :)

I know I'm still quite young at age 16, but I feel so ashamed of not having a boyfriend yet. I'M UNWANTED, UNLOVABLE, UGLY AND DESPERATE!" Kaya eto, nagkukunwari akong may boyfriend pag may nagtanong.

As an adolescent, wala pang nagkakainteres sa kin ever.

^Sis, alam kong this may be easier said than done, but you have to trust that things will work out. For now, at age sixteen, your self-esteem is still forming and you need a lot of reassurance that you are lovable. So I think you don't really need a bf yet (at that age, a bf is an unhealthy distraction from your studies), what you crave is to get feedback that somebody finds you attractive and lovable. Sabi mo random guys whistle at you in the malls/streets so take that as a sign that yes, you are beautiful.

Sa ngayon sis, focus your attention on your strengths: matalino ka, magaling mag-alaga, friendly, etc etc. Your physical beauty -- darating ang araw na you can afford to take better care of yourself, when you're working. Getting braces, hair treatments, facials, those kinds of things will help you blossom into a prettier version of yourself. For now, I hope you can stop na magkunwari sa friends na may bf ka, kasi  it won't give you peace of mind knowing that your white lies can be discovered anytime. And that will put you in an even less attractive light.

I really hope you won't get into a relationship motivated by insecurity. I had a friend who was fond of phonepals/textmates whom she ended up having FUBU relationships with. That's the kind of thing intelligent people do just to feel validated and loved, even though it's not the real kind of love. So don't fall into that trap. Make sure that when you decide to enter a relationship, you feel whole. And you feel happy about yourself. And you can start that process now, by addressing the things about you that you have control over. And then the rest... leave it up to God. I don't know if you believe in Him, but my faith helped me through tough times when I was struggling with self-esteem issues. I didn't end up sleeping around just to prove that I'm attractive, which sadly some girls do and are still doing.

Because I wasn't in a hurry and waited on God's guidance, I met the man that I would marry at age 26. That's 10 years older than your age now. Now imagine you have a bf this early, you would most probably be pressured to give in to his sexual advances before you reach the age of 20. Then because you started out too young he would feel like hindi pa sya sawa sa pagka-binata nya and would start flirting with other girls, you break up. Pero by this time nabigay mo na ang virginity mo. And there are men out there who will be ok with that, meron ding hindi. So you cut your chances at finding The One by the percentage of guys who want a virgin. Ilang percent ba yun, 50%? 30%?

You get the picture?

While you're studying focus on your studies. Lovelife will come later, when you've had a chance to love yourself muna, and discover what you want in a partner.

Aral-aral muna.

you're not alone sis.. it also happened to me.. at 16years old, i also have no suitors, may nagkakacrush pero di naman nanliligaw, so hindi counted yun.. i was peer pressured by all my friends love life..feeling ko ang pangit pangit ko talaga..
then i started new life pag tungtong ko sa college. i built my personality, i study hard and even watch night news to broaden my knowledge, and invest in kakikayan (di naman uber, tipong mabango lagi, fine smooth hair and nice skin, lip and cheek tint. ayaw ng guys ang ma mukup!advice ko lang.hehe)

and i started loving my self in the process..
now i'm passed that stage, somehow, growing old leaves insecurity behind.
im 22 now. and living a full life. also met my boyfriend, may first.
the Lord above is just preparing you for what He will give you.

don't fret.

I didn't have a bf until I was 32. We've been together more than a year now.   ;D

For me, there were a lot of factors.
I intimidated the guys daw. Also, medyo tomboyish kasi ako nun e, tsaka antaas ng standards ko. haha. Not to say that I lowered my standards. I didn't. Some guys tried but I just found them too immature.
Then I tried online dating. ;) He saw my profile, sent a message.  :D After a month of emails and texts, we met up. Sobrang swak sa standards and personality ko. Not a perfect man, but I think perfect for me.  ;D

Just wait, or do something, like try online dating. Just be very careful.  ;)

hello-

pjoin!!  :D

NBSB dn ako and i'm turning 29 this year. ligawin ako ng high school ako pero nung college and ngaun ndi na. (napglipasan na ata..hehe) anyway, by choice dn kng bt ako single. i don't see myself being totally open or honest sa isang tao na i just knew. i don't even see my self na dapat laging may i consider when making any decisions. (exception w/my family). may pgka-carefree kc ako. i do what i want and go where i want. actually no big deal talaga sa akn being single it's just that minsan annoying dn lalo na sa office parang all the guys nlng pnapair sa akn lalo na pgmay bago sa team.i know they are just kidding pero minsan off na e..hehe prang is it really difficult for them to understand na i'm happy khit single ako.   >:( 8)
