I have written about why I am single in my blog. There's nothing wrong in being single. It's better to wait than get involve with someone for wrong reasons, imho.

actually the problem nowadays are the guys?

makahanap ka man ng lalake ng gusto mo, usually ang case, bading, taken na or hindi ka type. in my case, okay lang sakin kahit nbsb for life pero yun nga, yung enviroment kasi, mga tao nakapaligid sayo they will pressure you na to the point na iisipin mo na may problema na sa sarili mo kahit wala naman.

he he he bahala sila sa mga buhay nila, mapressure sila kung gusto nila. masarap kaya maging single---living young and wild and free!

pero girls, do you believe na merong mga taong destined to be single for life? as in yung talaga hindi magaasawa?

my mother's youngest brother, hindi na talaga nag-asawa. we asked why and he answered na ayaw nya sumakit ang ulo tulad nang sa mga kapatid na may mga pamilya na.

for me, ok lang kasi siya ang kasama namin sa mga galaan at travel trips.

Sa akin choice siya. May mga guys na nagpa-cute. Yung PG flirting. Pero walang nanligaw. Dahil siguro alam nilang mabasted din sila. Sabi ng friends ko baka masyado daw mataas standards ko. Feeling ko naman hindi masyado mataas, may standards lang. I won't date a guy dahil available siya, or basta lalaki siya. I want an equal. Sometimes, before it even starts you know it won't work. You know it in your gut. Wala kayong chemistry. It feels like a fling, hindi totoo. So why waste each others time?

There are times na I feel na in terms of dating & courting I'm left out. It's sad sometimes. But then I realize that I don't really feel alone, it's more of I feel envious of my friends dating and getting married. At eto ako, nene pa din (which isn't a bad thing). And then I hear stories from my friends of love stories gone sour and marriages broken.

There are indeed people who chose NOT to get married, to be single forever. Marriage isn't for everyone. There are people who can't imagine themselves getting pregnant, having children, marrying someone (even if they are NOT priests & nuns). It's like this: Even if all women have a uterus, it doesn't mean that she is obligated to have children. It's a choice. It's her body. It's her life.

^^Going back, I just don't know when to risk, how to risk. Or maybe I just haven't met someone worth risking.

I hope mas marami pa ang maging mas open-minded when it comes to relationships kasi di naman lahat iisa ang tinatakbo ng isip. May mga taong sadyang hindi feel ang marriage and having kids, kaya hayaan na natin sila at wag ng makialam ng may buhay ng may buhay. Madalas kasi pag wala kang karelasyon iniisip agad na may mali sayo, kagaya na lang ng sinabi ni sis dashee about the expiration date. haha! ano tayo de lata? at lahat ba ng kinasal gusto ng anak? I know someone na ganyan din ang sinabi about women, at talagang malakas ang paniniwala nya that all women should have kids, at di kami magkasundo hehe.

ahh kasi sabi dun sa dating office ni bf, may expiration date daw ang babae...this has something to do with having babies i think.  kapag 28 na daw ang girl, dapat daw kasal na kasi yun daw ang "best time" nila as a woman. kaya yung mga officemate nya dati na girls, namomroblema/nalulungkot na kapag single pa rin sila by that age.

Yan ang problema sa society natin.  Maraming makikitid ang utak. Parang ang mga babae kelangan mag-asawa at a certain age, then maging this ideal wife na tipong "Stepford Wife" [you guys know that movie?]. Yun lang ang role nya.

Kahit pa naman may bf ka, society does not stop asking kelan ka ikakasal. Once married, kelan ka magkakaanak. Once may anak na, kelan ang 2nd, etc etc. 

Nakakapikon din. kasi ako I am way past 28yo na, hehe. Worse, I am separated.  So talagang tipong ostracized talagako ng society.  Admittedly, I am much much happier not being in Pinas, di ko lang alam kung dahil mas open minded ang mga tao outside of Pinas or mas konti lang kachika ko dito kaya di ko masyado naririnig ang mga pintas ng mga tao.

And sharing lang din, it is because I am not in Pinas, I came to terms on my separation with my hubby at dahil nga tingin ko mas hindi mapanghusga mga tao dito.

^^Actually, kahit year 2012 na, women can vote, women can run for public office etc, there's still alot to work for and aspire for regarding gender equality. And educating people to change stereotypes and stop discrimination.

Minsan, iniisip ko na baka ako single ay dahil I'm in the Philippines. People here are very traditional, patriarchal & judgemental. My parents always told me that really can't imagine me having a relationship with a Filipino. Hindi daw kami bagay. And as they say, parents are usually right.

At age 24, beautiful/cute etc... guys daw kahit gusto si girlalu eh di na sya babalakin mangligaw pa... kasi nga shes too cute to be single meaning me mali sa kanya kaya at that age shes still single... seems like the guy wont make an effort na to ligaw

One time my friends were discussing about - how to have a bf...

Sabi nga namin, sa dami ng available women out there - magaganda at bata, tapos hindi naman nga lahat nagpapaligaw, sino pa ba ang papatol samin - medyo conservative kasi barkada namin - sino pa papatol pag nasa mid to late 30s na, ang dami pa kamong arte.  So we came to a conclusion na hindi nanga talaga puede magkabf pa at our age kasi katakot takot na paglalandi ang kelangan mong gawin to win the race.  So either sikmurain mo ang hindi mo nga nakagawian or just be single for life.
This was when we were in Pinas.

But now that I am not in Pinas, medyo nag iba ang aking pananaw.  Parang kahit na nasa 40s or 50s ka na, meron at meron parin para sa iyo. Yun nga lang, am not in dreamland, chances are slimmer as you get older. Pero meron nakalaan for you, kung hahanapin mo sya.

nakakatuwa ang reply mo sis... win the race.... seems like babae pa ang need to win the race than the man to win you haist... yet you have a point..... sabi nila the guy daw is like picking an apple from a tree, but its too hard to climb up daw the tree so what he would do is just he would pick up the one na nalaglag na or yung nasa ground.. what this means is that yung hawak kamay na dun na lang sya settle kahit the best apples are at the peak of the tree.

ang pagakakaintindi ko kasi dun is that... like eating out,,, when u know someone had ate there already at masarap daw... u would give it a try else pag wala pa sa barkada mo naka try nun... clueless ka and you wont waste time... to go there and check it out.... so ang babaeng single .. is like ayaw ng guy na sya ang mag try kung pano ligawan tong babaeng to... else aantay sya ng iba to do that and if that works.. nasa queue na nya yun haha

^Last time I check, hindi pag-kain ang mga babae, hindi bagay. If a guy really wants the girl, he should have the guts to pursue her.

^Yung mga lalaking ganyan, gusto lang ng easy to get. Yung girl na madali makuha dahil alam na nya kung pano kunin. Tamad mangligaw. Gusto instant relationship na. Yung mga taong ganyan, hindi pangmatagalan.

I'm turning 25 this year and NBSB pa rin ako.. I don't feel bad about it though.. Looking at the brighter side of it, at least I do have a time to love myself even more.. Look for areas for improvement and make the best out of me..

I just pray na sana if I'm born to be alone for the rest of my life, sana ma-accept ko & still be happy. Hirap kasi ng mag-isa sa life. But I'm still hoping that very soon He will find me & I recognize him.

still NBSB and now i am a Graduate of 4 year course All thanks to God..sometimes I'm sad maybe because of one aspect of my life that I cannot get until now..sometimes all i need is a companion  who can [textspeak!] me, care fr me, miss me, but one thing that I''m sure is if I ever fall because of this needs .. This is to shallow...I need someone who wants to have a serious relationship that he will decide to commit and think about settle down and have a family with me...one man woman ako ee.. ayoko ng paiba iba...so i'm still waiting for God's will..

I enjoy my life right now! I learned a lot . I enjoy my career thats all that matters now and my famil love ..

I need someone who wants to have a serious relationship that he will decide to commit and think about settle down and have a family with me...one man woman ako ee.. ayoko ng paiba iba...so i'm still waiting for God's will..

Also once that someone comes along, before you step into a bf-gf relationship, make sure you have "shopped around" din and not focus on 1 person blindly for the rest of your life - just because you NEED someone to love you and care for you.  Ako kasi yan din ang napagdaanan ko before, gusto ko serious relationship, syempre sino ba naman ayaw di ba?  Kaso kaya most of us end up broken hearted kasi that's how we see life. Meet the one prince charming and live happily ever after. Kaso life is not that way.  Maybe for some lucky few (na baka mas mababa pa sa odds kesa sa manalo ka sa lotto). 

I was there, been there, done that.  So just sharing my 2 cents.  Nagserious relationship ako ng maaga, did not know any better and end up marrying my one and only bf.  In hindsight, should've dated more, mingled more and seen more.

Tsaka hindi naman ibig sabihin, magb-bf ka lagi.  it is more of "dating", "MU", before jumping into that serious relationship. that way, you can compare notes, you know what you want and not just settle for the person you are with kasi mahal mo na sya, you also get to know more about yourself, how you are in relationships, how you handle things, etc.
