di sure kung may bumabyaheng public transpo dun. mas mabuti kung magrent na lang kayo ng trike para sure na may masasakyan pabalik. may kalayuan din kasi iyon sa city.

@ mommy23: i recommend hotel roma. i think it's the best hotel in tuguegarao. while you're there, try their crispy pata, hot chocolate, and thai beef salad. pati na rin halo-halo because it's been really hot in tuguegarao the past few days - 39 degrees kahapon.

the usual spots are the old churches (San Jacinto Church, St Peter's Cathedral , Callao caves (which is actually in Penablanca, a neighboring town), the 2nd longest bridge in the country (Buntun Bridge), Basilica of Piat (in another town).

if you can backread in this thread, you'll find out more about the places to see.

@hairt mini: hope matuloy na nga. best time to go there i think is december when it's usually 18-degree cold. last january, it reached 16 degrees.

maswerte pala kami sis dahil di masyadong mainit nung pumunta kami kahit maghoholy week na iyon. iyon nga lang inulan kami sa papuntang palaui island though safe naman ang byahe at di naman ganun nakakatakot (para sa aking pananaw) ang boat ride.

^ hahaha it's a puzzle talaga, para sa amin. ang tanong namin ay hindi lang yung sa mainit na panahon eh but actually sa extreme temperatures dito - sobrang inet sa summer, sobrang lamig pag christmas/new year time. mas pansinin lang talaga yung mainit dito kasi record holder ng hottest temp ever sa phils. ang tugue.

Hayz, dito anf bagong assignment ng hubby ko. Sabi nya wala daw masyadong tourist spots. Ang malapit lang daw dun sa camp nila na tourist spot ay Banawe Rice terraces which is 3 to 4 hours away. Have to back read pa for hotels and other touristy thing to do. Punta sana kami this week oero cancelled ang trip due sa Bagyong Mina.

sis, try to also see MAGAPIT BRIDGE, parang golden gate of the phil sya, junction sya going to aparri, sta ana and ilocos.. you can also try mga beaches sa claveria, and besides few hours nalang to ilocos yun. also sis, try to buy teano alcala milk sa may alcala, cagayan...marami pang magagandang pwedeng mapuntahan sa cagayan...

anong flight details mo sis? halos kasi 4 hours ang travel time from tuguegarao to sta. ana eh. tapos 10-20 minutes travel time ulit papuntang port pa-palaui.

Day 1: Callao Caves after lunch in Tugue.
Day 2: Sta. Ana/Palaui - overnight na dito....
Day 3: Back to Tugue, a little tour around Tugue then airport.
