may stop-over kami sa SG this coming 31 March. Dating namin ay 11:50AM tapos our connecting flight's scheduled the next morning at 10AM. i will be travelling with hubby and our 3 y/o kid. ano kaya pwede namin gawin sa SG on those hours? may maisa-suggest ba kayo na pwedeng puntahan and how do we go there na rin. hehe. 1150am arrival, siguro maaga gising ninyo mga 6am?  kung pagod yung bata, puede pa kayo magpahinga sa hotel, tapos pa pick up nalang sa hotel ng 4pm papuntang night safari. 

or kung kaya pa ninyo, puede naman kayo mag sentosa ng 3pm (not sure pick up time), for night sentosa tour.

alam ko sa airport lang, nagkalat mga tour agencies doon, puede kayo magsign up ng tour at papick up sa hotel. or better yet, why not arrange it in advance sa hotel na titirhan ninyo, kasi baka yung mga tour packages, gusto nila ng advance booking.

mga sis, bawal ba yung kiddie bike sa mga malls at attractions dito? kasi my three-year-old niece who's coming here for a vacation, bike yung nakasanayan, yung three-wheel bike na para na rin stroller kasi may basket din para lalagyan sa mga gamit niya.  di yun sasakay sa stroller, although pwede kaming makahiram sa kaibigan namin dito ng stroller. 

yung bike ba sis as in bike na ginagamit ng mga bata? yung 2 wheels sa likod? tapos may basket sa harap? yun ba yun sis? wala pa kasi ako nakikitang batang naka bike sa mga malls.. pero looks like hindi naman bawal sa mall.. medyo mahirap lang iakyat sa escalator.. hahanap ka pa ng lift..

1. Is it really cheaper to text/ call Singtel to Globe compared to Singtel to Smart or Sun?

2. Di ko po na roaming ko would it be possible to have it roaming by just calling their customer service?

hi mga sis, may employer from singapore na tumawag sa akin. and its his second call na. he is already asking for an expected salary though actually he is trying to fit me in to two jobs pa raw ako. sales coordinator or in graphics. (lol layo) pero mas gusto ko graphics. question: how will i answer the expected salary baka kasi magbigay ako ng mababa or mas mataas at hindi na pansinin ang CV ko. help naman po? thanks

^sis, usually ako nagtatanong sa mga friends ko na nasa ganung field of work.. else, ang last resort ko is yung mga jobsdb or monster.com tapos check ko dun yung mga salary range..

^sis i checked jobstreet sg. 1,8K-2K. Ganon ba kababa yung salary sa sales coordinator? hindi kaya isang kayod ako at isang tuka sa sg pag nagkataon lol lalo na sa cost of living?

one more thing, i havent met the employer yet, im still here in PH pero will be there by march. unusual ba na magtanong na siya agad ng salary pero wala pang job offer? accdg to my brother in SG, unusual daw yun..

^sis mukang normal naman.. kasi palagi ako tinatanong ng expected salary.. tapos later na ang job offer if interested sila talaga sa akin.. sometime kasi too high ang hihingin and then di nila mameet... tapos pag too low naman, uber happy employers sila.. LOL

^talaga sis? lol usually ano ba sinasagot mo? range ba or yung mismong minimum expected salary mo? hindi ko pa nga sinasagot question niya eh. sabi ko nalang, ill email you. hehe. pero sabi niya, you now that employers will always want a lower salary...nye hehe.

sis, usual sagot ko dyan - total package.

pero kung mapilit, magcompute ka such that you are comfortable with the range. if you wont be happy with s$2k, do not say it's 2k and asking mo, otherwise baka magsisi ka lang.

yung iba, what they do, 3x ng sweldo sa pinas, for them to maintain the same lifestyle. so if you are getting 20k sa pinas, 2k should be just right. pero kung more ang sweldo mo sa pinas, you should somehow ask for more, especially if you are not prepared to downgrade your lifestyle.

yung iba naman, nags-sacrifice sa lower pay (lower than 3x ng pinas pay pero overall higher parin) kasi they see the sg job as a stepping stone lang and lumilipat nalang sila sa mas ok na job later.  may iba successful, pero not all din.

ok din sinabi ni yapeegurl na kung ano yung sweldo na magiging masaya ka. kung hindi kumagat yung company, malay mo, hindi para sayo. kung kumagat, eh di happy lahat!

2K is already a downgrade of lifestyle na ba like sa mga girls na gaya ko, who likes to go to the salon, derma and occasional shopping/make up? (lol concerned talaga sa girly stuffs)

anyway, actually in my previous work hindi ako naka abot ng 20K hehe. kasi less than 2 yrs experience ko then nag freelance na ako.

ang offer talaga is 1,8K and this is from an agency here in the PH din.

Usually may babayaran pa ba sa agency?

sis regarding sa bayaran sa agency you should asked them directly kasi yung iba processing lang ang hinihingi which is minimal at legal sa pinas pero kung humihingi sila ng more than of your 1 month salary bawal yan puede mo sila report sa POEA kung Phils based yung agency mo pero kung dito sya normally walang fee kang babayaran

for 2K salary as single ok na yan lalo na kung di ka naman magastos talaga

sis _vavavoom_ congrats sa work mo actually dito walang peak season for audit lagi silang peak kasi napa flexible ng govt nila sa filing nga mga corporate tax. so far ok naman ang working environment yun nga lang kasi tayong mga pinoy super bait kaya tendency maabuso tayo ng ibang co-worker natin kaya be wise din sis

sis kung gusto mo na malapit sa work mo at city yan be prepared to pay S$700-800 for common room pero kung bed space ka lang around S$400 may makukuha ka na.
