Mag ingat po tayo sa Pacific Link Travel and Tours na nag promo dati sa eBAY, Metro Deal at iba pang group buying sites ng discounted trip to Boracay (inclusive of transfers, with hotel accommodations sa La Carmela at airfare). Na-scam ang bestfriend ko at madami pang iba.

In fairness to eBay nakuha nila ang half na binayaran nila initially sa eBAY, pero hindi na narefund ang binayad mismo sa Pacific.

Nakakainis tong mga travel agency na nagiging mga scammers. Sinisira ninyo ang travel industry dito sa Pinas. Pati kaming mga bago affected. Recently yung dati kong pinsan na kinukwento ko sa inyong humiwalay sa ken, lumapit sa family ko humihingi ng tulong dahil na-scam daw sya ni Pab Star. Wala na si Pab Star. So, babala, wag na kayong mag-e-entertain ng kahit anong deals ni Pab Star. 1.8M ang nakuha nya sa ex-pinsan ko. Ibang klase tong pinsan ko, pagtapos humiwalay, isnab isnabin ako, ngayon sa ken din lalapit para humingi ng tulong.

^ dati akong customer ng pab star. grabe madami silang naloko na customers. kahapon ko lang nalaman na nag sara sila. sabi nung iba temporary lang. pero nag file na nag bankruptcy sabi nung iba. kawawa naman ang mga customer nila. reklamo ko sa kanila bad customer service. pero mas maswerte pa ako at natuloy yung tour ko. naaawa talaga ako dun sa mga sinabihan nila na irerefend sila ng pab star. karma lang nila yun kasi nag dedeceive sila ng mga customers nila.

Traveltime Travel & Tours - yan yung agency na kinuha ko when we go to Bohol last July 8-10, sobrang helpful and cooperative sila. Super reliable tong agency na to. Search nio na lang mga sis.

Yung TravelOnline.ph sis, nag ooffer ng installment payments on packages. 3 / 6 / 12 and even 24 months via credit card.
May Zero % pa if MetroBank, PSBank, Allied Bank, PNB, Equicom

Yes sis, I think ikaw rin yung nasa kabilang thread. Ako yung nagsabi sayo na normal minsan yung mga problems na na encounter nyo pero hindi normal ang bad service lalo na sa industry na ito. Oh well, grabe nga yang ke pab star, last time i spoke with Kate was before I left for Beijing, mga last week ata ng June yun. Dami nya palusot e pero i think talagang mismanagement yun, ang balita ko nga ang original na may negosyong travel agency is yung sister nya, tinuruan sya kaso nung natuto ayun nagsolo, haist parang ako lang at ang pinsan kong magaling.

Maiba tayo, ibalik natin sa travel agency ang usapan. Sa mga starters sa negosyong ito, mahirap pag wala ka full knowledge, need mo talaga magamay mga ino-offer mo at kung pano ooffer kasama na dito ang diskarte mo pagpapatakbo ng negosyo. I'm sure karamihan sa mga nagsimula dito nakipartner lang din sa mga existing tour operators, GSA, etc. Ako I think, one of the best teacher is experience pa rin. Kung may ipon ka na rin at kaya mong mag spare for travel alone, go ahead and meet your tour operators sa mga partnered countries mo. This is what I am currently doing. I'm not really comfortable offering tour package in a certain country pag di ko pa napuntahan, kaya natuwa ako sa Bejing trip ko sa dami kong natutunan at syempre, work wise na-meet ko na mga tour operators ko plus possible tie ups pa. So, pag may nagtanong sa ken ng Bejing trip, very comfortable na akong mag-suggest ng mga do's and don'ts plus mapagkakatiwala ko sila sa mga taong nakausap ko sa Beijing. Next destination, Palawan, Bangkok, then back to HK and then Macau.

Grabe naman mga scammers na yan. Sana tigilan na nila yan. Bigla naman nag sulputan kase mga travel agencies. Dapat merong standard before you put up this kind of business. Trusted namin ang 3JL Travel N Tours and Bakasyunistang Pinoy, very friendly kausap mga tao dyan. smooth transactions.

Mga sis!  Does anyone know a travel agency who offers rates close to those in the internet (i.e. kayak, priceline) or if ever, those who can assist in booking online thru those sites?  Need to book flights to US asap e.

Hello mga sis! I badly need your help especially those who owns/works for a travel agency. I'm planning to go to Germany on January 2013 because I was invited by a friend. Now, one of the requirements for Schengen visa application is to present round-trip plane ticket reservation. Sabi nila, sa mga travel agencies lang daw pwede yung reservation instead of booking right-away. I hope you can help me with this mga sis  Gusto ko rin malaman if ever nagpa-reserve ako ng ticket may charge ba yun? I heard kasi that some agencies reserve it for free. I also want to know how long yung allowance na binibigay before I could cancel the reserved tickets (just in case my visa application was denied). My preferred dates are Jan 4 or 5 to 19; Jan 11 or 12 to 26, Manila - Frankfurt. Mga sis, I hope you can help me with this kasi eto lang talaga ang kelangan ko maayos muna para makapag-move on ako sa mga next requirements. Kelangan ko muna ng travel date

^Yes, some travel agency will charge you for making the flight bookings. Another option is directly call the airline's reservations/ticketing office and make an initial booking. They will send you a preliminary flight booking itinerary with a ticketing option. The airline usually gives a three to two weeks deadline for you to buy or cancel your flight.

Hi sis mama squeak! thanks for your response i actually contacted several travel agencies already and their rates are oh-so high compared to prices in the booking sites.
btw, do these booking sites have features for refunds/rebooks as well? maikli lang pala ang binibigay ng mga airlines to confirm the booking...

^Re booking sites, not sure about the refunds/re-bookings since I don't use them. I go direct to the airlines for my tickets. Sorry to have confused you, what I meant by the deadline is 2 to 3 weeks before your scheduled departure. So if your intended departure is first week of January dapat by first week December finalised mo na yung tickets mo. Different airlines, different booking options.
