Hi again,

Thats what I'm talking about! ;D Most Doctors are open to the idea of taking a yoga class
parang super stressed ka. You'll be needing it  :)

alabang area yoga classes
ekagrata shala: http://ekagratasala.wordpress.com/
yoga philippines: http://www.yogaphilippines.ph/
bikram yoga alabang: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bikram-Yoga-Alabang/152214768136306

taguig area: www.yogaplus.ph

sa Alabang ba mismo or muntinlupa???

Actually all yoga classes are beginners classes, the reason why studios have labeled their class as
a beginners class is because of the fact that

1. The have a shorter sequence
2. they focus on the poses especially the alignment which people don't take seriously
3. a beginners or a fundamental class will lay the foundation once you continue practicing the asanas
    parang workshop din siya.

Just remember, before you attend class tell the teacher that you are new to the practice. He/she know what poses to give you.  :D

You will be needing a mat and a towel, you can purchase those items at a fitness store near you.

Clothes? something that streches or follows the body movements as you practice.

Note: Don't wear a very loose shirt in class

Good luck  ;D

bikram super init? hmmmm medyo hehe, Well if you have a strict teacher there's a tendency that they wont open the door if its hot.

you can send them an email, yoga plus offers mixed classes hot yoga A (absolute hot yoga) hot yoga B (bikram hot yoga) and some flow classes(not heated or slightly heated). Better call them up muna or send an email about the rates. All I have with me right now are the rates for February, I think they have 1week unlimited classes for 1K. Not sure better send them an email.

-What kind of Yoga that you usually attend?
 Bikram Yoga

-How much do you like attending Yoga?
I'm loving it now. =)

-What made you decide to join?
I want to be more flexible and fit.

-How does it affect your flexibility?
I used to be really stiff but I'm a bit flexible now.

-Were you able to carry yourself? How long did you learn it?
Yes, but my poses are not perfect yet. I've still got a lot to learn.

-How many Yoga mats that you have? What are the colors?
2. One blue mat I bought in sm and one pink mat my sister bought in landmark.

Why did you choose that color?
Blue is one my favorite colors.

-What are the advantage and disadvantage for you in attending Yoga class?
Advantage: I feel stronger!
Disadvantage: Having to shuttle to work and then yoga or vice versa. I'm tired after work so I'm not my best during the yoga sessions.

-Where do you attend Yoga class?
Bikram Yoga Makati

Sorry I can't backread (because of work), who's into Bikram Yoga too?  :D

My sister just bought this book. I thought I'd share it with you guys. It's called Yoga in the Wild by Lucia Ciay Misa.

"It is a collection of mostly published stories here, and in the U.S., where she now resides for half the year, since she first moved to Boston in 1979. Her stories trace her brave move to an unknown world, where she set up an import company, which she managed for twenty-four years, while raising two children, Cristina and Eric. What has motivated and centered her all these years is the discipline of her daily yoga practice and meditation, which she began when she was twenty years old. In Boston, she sought out the best teachers and her practice has molded itself into an organic connection to the natural world. Since 2004, she has enjoyed her retirement into a life of simple abundance close to nature."

@heytheredelilah... yeah i saw a copy of that at powerbooks.  i took a couple of minutes to browse through the book and it's really nice.  was actually tempted to buy a copy but it was a bit expensive. :)  i found the book very interesting.  i love that she really practiced yoga... not just asana... but to its truest form. :)

@Bvrly08 i've seen the one in ebay.  it's basically your ordinary pvc mat that you can buy anywhere.. sometimes even cheaper.  Went to landmark the other day and found that their mats are at around 300 nalang.  :)  agree with clumsish... if adidas is 500.. i'd rather get that.  it looks more durable than the one in ebay.

bricks? you mean yun yoga blocks? if yun yun, hindi naman talaga kailangan. ako I just bought one, kasi I use it when I do the twisted triangle. nahirapan talaga ako sa pose na yun, kaya I need the block for support. hopefully someday hindi ko na yan kailangan hehe
