Hi Sis....
-What kind of Yoga that you usually attend?  I have tried Bikram, Hatha and Ashtanga... and so far I found my love in Ashtanga.  Well truth is... although I realized that for people iba iba talaga.  whatever will make you practice more... then dun ka.
-How much do you like attending Yoga? When I was a student I used to attend 2-3 times a week.
-What made you decide to join? It started out because I was curious about the poses.  ang cute kasi nila.... but what made me stay is the overall effect in me.  Not only did my health improved but also I learned to keep my mind still and patanggal stress.  I learned how to deal with anger, stress... I'm more relaxed pag nag practice.
-How does it affect to your flexibility? A LOT... :)
-Were you able to carry yourself? How long did you learned it?  When i started with Ashtanga... my baby was just two months.  so i was very weak.  after that i was ashtanga 3times a week.... i was able to catch up after 3 months.
-How many Yoga mats that you have? What are the colors?  I have 3 on hand now.  but I only use one. all are different brands but basically they're all the same.
Why did you choose that color?
-What are the advantage and disadvantage for you in attending Yoga class? well... it is very different if you practice with other people versus learning on your own.  first, practicing with other people motivates you more.  whereas pag alone... there is a tendency to get bored.  next practicing in class is imporatant because the teacher will help you get into poses.  it is safer parin if someone who is experienced guides you.
-Where do you attend Yoga class?  for bikram i attended Pye Trinidad's class.  For ashtange I used to study in Yoga Manila.  Now, I practice on my own.  ;D
I hope this helps. :)

Hi Sis...

Try searching the net kasi makakakita ka ng cheaper than 4K.  :)  As for people who had scoliosis surgery.... things to take note are 1.  always important to ask your doctor 2.  there are types of yoga that could accomodate her.  Example if you do hatha yoga or gentle yoga.  like kung bikram.. hindi pwede kasi most of the time classes yun and everyone moves in unison.  kasi yun tailor fit sya sa needs ng person.  so either they give you a milder poses for the back.. or nothing at all.. and then focus on other parts of the body.  we do have a lot of poses that needs to be looked into...

I hope this helps. :)

I do yoga everyday and I also spend an hour for guided meditation (do-it-yourself, all you need is a guided meditation CD). This practice calms my nerves and tempers my emotions.

sis saan po pwedeng makabili ng CD ng yoga and how much po kaya? thanks..i wanted to try kaya lang i live in a province at walang nag ooffer ng yoga class dito. thanks much sis.

^ Try mo download ng ITunes.

Search mo sa Video Podcasts yung Yoga.

May makikita ka dun free podcast video for beginners, between 10-20 minutes lang. Meron din 1 hour na full class. Panoorin mo muna bago mo sundan.

same here!  I love yoga so much.  i started yoga just out of curiousity.  i thought it would be fun doing the poses.  after 4 years of doing yoga... i'm loving it even more.  I left my work to teach yoga! hehe!  not one moment do i regret making that choice.  :)

Hey!  Yep I teach.  That's how much i love it.  :)  they say i'm yogaholic!  ;)

5-6x a week??? Good job.  practice that way and in no time you should see the difference.  I do the same thing and practice everyday (except sundays since that's my rest time) ... my practice changed so much after 2 weeks.  :)

Oh by the way, just be careful with some of the asana.... some of the poses maybe a bit tricky and can cause discomfort.  If you have any questions with the poses... let me know.  I'm more than willing to help out. :)

I always wanted to try out Yoga not necessarily to get slimmer but to have a toned body, I guess and basically, just to be able to do anything physical. I always put it off but last week I saw an ad about it and turns out, it's being offered in my school. I registered for Power Flow Yoga. It's once a week, every Thurs. So, so happy! I finally took the plunge! I even bought a 68-dollar mat just for this one. :)
