San ang pulse and Iyengar yoga at how much? Cureently with bikram yoga pero medio namamahalan nako sa kanya at hirap din ako sa oras. Parang habang tumatagal eh bumababa tolerance ko sa heat. hehe! Baliktad ata ako...

from what i've heard and read, not all types of yoga are done in a heated room. i think bikram lang and yun heated flow lang.

pulse is on pasong tamo extension near mantrade while iyengar is at the LKG tower on ayala ave. walk in rate for both is P500 while monthly is P2,500 for iyengar and P4,000 for pulse.

Wow! Iyengar yoga is really cheap! I think I'll switch! hehe.. Bikram is 3k for two weeks unlimited only. Btw yung 2500 unlimited rin ba yun? I like naman their rates! hehe...... Sakto kakatapos lang ng Bikram ko!  ;)

^I think Iyengar is cheaper kasi one kind of yoga lang, which is Iyengar lang. Sa pulse alam ko different kind of yoga like hot yoga, ashtanga, hatha.

@junichi-I have several questions, sorry a.
1) yun sa pulse yoga, may ako nakita class called "Nia". What does that mean? 2) And what's the meaning if may "1" sa may class title, like Power 1, Ashtanga
1?
3)have you tried attending the 7am classes? Usually ilan tao yun? What about the saturday early morning classes?
4)Yun hot yoga, what kind of yoga turo dun? yun inaattend ko kasi, vinyasa flow, e hindi ko medyo type. Masgusto ko yun parang bikram, pero I don't want sa bikram yoga kasi mahal.

thanks!

I read sa magazine, vinyasa flow yoga nakakapayat, pero only if you do it correctly in a certain amount of time, like mga 1 hr or something. But of course, you should also have proper diet

Sorry for the late reply  ;D

1) Nia is a yoga dance class
2) Power 1 class heavily draws on the ashtanga asanas. The instructor from time to time alters the series of postures. For example Monday's and wednesday's have a slightly altered sequence
3) Ashtanga 1 is the complete sequence of postures for the primary ashtanga yoga sequence. Better take Ashtanga Basics if your a beginner.
4) Hot Yoga at pulse is Bikram Yoga.
Vinyasa Flow? where did you attend Vinyasa Flow? Pulse also offers Vinyasa Flow
Where You from? Currently there are already 4 Bikram Studios in Manila
Bikram Eastwood and Bikram Greenhills are a lot cheaper compared to the makati and tomas morato studio's

Thanks for answering my questions! I might try ashtanga basics.
I attend sa Bliss Yoga, closer kasi sa office e, and they have 630am class, so after attending that I go straight to the office. But I want to try sa Pulse yun hot yoga, but maybe on Saturdays lang. but still having 2nd thoughts about it kasi I want to kind of "perfect" some yoga poses before attending hot yoga. mahirap na if hirap na ako sa init, hirap pa ako sa mga poses.

Yup gentle flow as a start okay. Or Yoga Fundamentals, I'm not sure if Iyengar is the official name for this. Kasi the class I'm attending, the instructor studied Iyengar Yoga, so I was thinking baka ito yun. Okay din for beginners, the instructor teaches you the proper alignment of the poses. For me helpful siya. What i learned from the class, I apply sa mga gentle flow and vinyasa classes that I attend

sis, saan ka nag attend ng gentle flow yoga? may alam ka ba within makati?

Any Yoga classes within Taguig Area?

I tried Barre @ The Spa, di ko sya gusto, it's medyo taxing unlike yoga where it's more relaxing and non-evasive.
