lol, cute topic....hmm i attend dynamic and gentle flow yoga (fitness first), maybe 2-3 times a week or whenever my schedule permits me. I've been doing it for almost 2 years now. I've always been flexible since i was a cheerleader but yoga made me improve even more. It took a lot of hard work and patience but now i can do the bird and monkey pose without strain. I used to have 2 nike mats (gray and pink) but i gave the other one away. Im not very particular with the color, just as long as it does the job ( when i bought my mat, i actually just grabbed the first on i saw).=) Advantages: more flexbility, i learned how to focus and relax, yoga's not just physical its also mental, if you're not concentrating and  not breathing properly, then you wont be able to hold on to the poses. I haven't had any disadvatage with yoga so far..but i believe that rushing into advance poses while still a beginner can cause more harm than good , (i notice some people tend to compete during class)yoga is not just an exercise but a way of life, practice and commitment is the key to it.

Nag enrol ka ba sa Fitness or sa Slimmers? Kasi you can also tell your problems to them then you must ask if Yoga is applicable sa tulad mo na may ganyang back problem.

Allowed ka ba sa weights?

I practice yoga too. I go to the Makati Studio of Yoga Manila. I started in August. So far, so good. I'm super happy with the results and I'm enjoying the health benefits. Nakakarelax. To answer the questions:
1. Slow Flow Yoga twice a week
2. A lot! I wish they have slow flow classes everyday
3. I was getting so stressed about work, and I don't want to go to the gym.
4. I'm the least athletic person, so I guess na-improve talaga flexibility ko with yoga. Mag 4 months palang ako pero pati immune system ko tsaka stamina naging ok. I rarely get sick na and hindi narin mabilis mapagod.
5. If by "carry" you mean head stands, definitely not yet. Hahaha. 4 months na into the class.
6. I have two, a green one from Watsons (Medyo madulas) and a purple one from Nike.
7. Another advantage: speeds up my metabolism. Mas matakaw ako pag di ako nag-attend ng class.
8. Yoga Manila's studio in Makati.

- I bought a copy of the MTV yoga. My sched and budget won't permit me to attend a yoga class :(

- I have scoliosis so my exercise choices are limited to yoga, pilates, swimming, walking, jogging, and running

- I feel flexible again.

- I used to be a swimmer and some of the stretches I used to do for warm-up are also in yoga. Pero yung ibang poses hirap pa rin ako until now.

- Its gray.. I'm not particular to color

What kind of Yoga that you usually attend?
-Bikram Yoga
How much do you like attending Yoga?
-Very much hehe
What made you decide to join?
-I'm not athletic nor into any kind of exercise but I am very conscious about my health. I wanted to try the gym but they said that if you stop working out you would eventually get fat since the muscles turn into fat if you don't work out regularly. So I tried yoga instead to keep me fit.
How does it affect to your flexibility?
-I am more flexible and my stamina really lasts. I feel I am stronger and my posture really improved.
Were you able to carry yourself? How long did you learned it?
-Just correct breathing will help you with the poses. It wasn't long until I was able to do the poses, it's just the heat that really gets into me at times. So I need a lot of water for it.
How many yoga mats that you have? What are the colors?
-I just have 1 purple nike yoga mat.
Why did you choose that color?
-It matches my bag.. hehe!
What are the advantage and disadvantage for you in attending Yoga class?
-It has a lot of advantages for me. But the most I think is that it has been my stress reliever. The only disadvantage is that it is kinda expensive so I can't enrol for longer classes/sessions.
Where do you attend Yoga class?
-Bikram Yoga in Makati

I think dito na uli magpopost on Yoga since there's a 30-page thread rule diba?

for beginners ok yung Hatha Yoga, I tried it before and super relaxing, no pain or discomfort, a nice way to unwind tensed muscles and have a peace of mind :)
