sabi na, ayokong basahin to kasi maiiyak lang ako eh.  :'(

thanks sis Gabrielle Andre for sharing your love for your husband.

everytime this fear grips me--the fear of losing my husband--nagdadasal na lang ako na sana we'll live together for a very long time. i don't want to think about it.

Just finished reading your blog...and I must admit, I shed a pail of tears reading your story...

It breaks my heart just reading about your grief, how much more if ako na talaga nawalan diba? Know what, ever since, my greatest fear would always have to be losing somebody I love,  may it be my partner, parents, sister... Just the mere thought makes me quiver talaga.

So thanks a lot for sharing...I know it's not easy to be in that position. You made me realize how lucky I am to still be with the people that I love (physically, for that matter). You are such an inspiration...

P.S.
The moment I get home, I promise to hug my hubby and let him feel my love for him.

hi sis gab, (haba name ni baby)

i too lost my husband recently, last november 2010 lang, it was a sudden one, the culprit is still at large...

i read your blog a few months ago pa, i'm not sure if i had lend a comment/ message na rin, didn't run it thru before ako magmessage ngayon... mas madalas ako magbasa than share my thoughts... but i guess now i can...

like you, we are from uae as well, pero sya nagdecide na magstay sa pinas for good, naiwan ako dito sa uae to support him for a year sana then it happen... we also have a child.

i admire you for sharing your story, and like you being able to let it out and share a few really helps.

thanks for opening it up.

your story really made me cry...  :'(

i was so touched on how much you and your hubby love each other... and i'm happy that with all that happened to you, you were too strong to face it all...

i am also a full time housewife and mom.. but luckily, my hubby lives here with us.. but he wishes to be abroad for better living for us...but i always refuse... i would rather have a simple life with him rather than have a wealthy life without him..  the money can't buy or give us the precious times and memories we could share for life.. :)

nakakaiyak naman to  :'(

i salute you sis for being so strong kahit na deep inside your dying. i have seen bea's movie "and i love you so" and there was a scene between her & derek na sobrang nakakatouch na tipong hate niya si derek kasi di na siya babalik at di na siya kayang mahalin.  after watching that, narealize ko talaga na dapat mahalin natin ang asawa natin..  even the simplest thing na nagawa nila, we should learn to appreciate coz it really means a lot to them.

no matter how many times i tell her to be strong not just for her but for the kids, alam ko walang magagawa yun dahil di ako ang nakakafeel ng pain na nararamdaman niya.. i just let her know na nasa tabi niya lang kaming mga friends niya.

Bigla kong naalala na lagi akong naiinis sa hubby ko kasi childish but after reading your story, I think I will have a new perspective when it comes to his attitude and learn to understand more.

^ sis prettykhae,

his brain aneurysm ruptured 3 days before his 41st bday... try mo nlang google yung aneurysm pero yung sa kanya nakuha niya kasi matagal na siyang may hypertension eh :(

@all, im glad you've learned something from my story. the point is, there is no perfect marriage, hindi naman pwedeng walang konting misunderstanding eh kasi while the marriage grows and you both grow, hindi talaga maiiwasan yung may konting alitan. but ang important thing is just to love each other selflessly, and treat everyday with each other as if it were your last together.

when i have the courage i'll post a link here about the real story, about my miracle... after almost 2 years i opened his files from the hospital and i realized that medically speaking dapat pala namatay na siya agad nung unang rupture ng aneurysm niya,sa pagkakaalam ko lahat ng ruptured aneursym cases na nagkaroon ng profuse bleeding sa brain for 10hours bago na drain at na operahan ang utak ay either mamatay agad, or ma brain damaged kung mabubuhay man, yet he lived for another 40 days without any neurological damage, napag usapan namin lahat ng mga naalala naming pwedeng pag-usapan, nabigyan pa ng extension para itama ang mga mali,....
and the best thing is, although he technically died in the hospital while nakakabit sa respirator, yung moment na nag totally rupture yung aneurysm sa brain niya at nag seizure na siya at na brain dead, yun yung moment na namatay siya, and he was in my arms that time, and he was able to tell me kung gaano niya ako kamahal and he was able to say "take care of our baby"...

@johnlennon, try to work things out with your wife... i'm sure she loves you, baka iba lang ang way niya of showing it and iba yung way mo of interpreting love kaya you don't feel it...and oh yes, ang sarap mabuhay pag alam mong minamahal ka...na kahit ngayon inspite of all the pain, i can still say masarap mabuhay kasi alam kong may isang lalakeng nagmahal sa akin ng totoo at minahal ko rin siya...

^ sis honey_iya ... =)) official spokesperson ba hehe...thanks sis.

yep dito na ako sa pilipinas, came home for good with my baby to bury my hubby here, bumalik lang ng UAE for a month for closure.

^ sis honey, thanks so much, hindi ko na na update ang blog, kasi for now I feel like if I write mababawasan ng konti yung pain and hindi ko pa kaya i let go ni smallest thing about him, about us...sabi nga ng kanta, "let the pain remain forever in my heart, for every throb it brings is one more moment spent with you, so i'll let the pain bring on the rain if its the only way to be with you again"...

siguro soon, magkakaroon ako ng courage to write again...marami pang hindi naikwento eh...

God bless us all

My condolences.
You're so lucky sis for having a wonderful husband, sayang nga at kinuha sha agad.

Pero atleast u experienced to loved and to be loved and for sure kahit wala na sha patuloy pa rin ang pagmamahal mo sakanya.
Thanks sa inspiration.
Mas desidido na tuloy akong maging good mom and good wife ngayon.

Sis nakakaiyak naman, kasi ganyan din samahan namin ng mister ko. Similar din yung mga dialogue nya sakin. Natakot, na guilty ako sa post mo.
I hope you will find happiness in life even without your spouse on your side physically, but we all know that our past loved ones are always looking after us.

this is one nice post sis Gabrielle and i hope you and your daughter are ok na.  ang hirap nyan kaya I salute you for your courage.  yong magkahiwalay nga lang kayo ang hirap na, ganyan pa kaya?  hubby and i were apart din saglit nong nag-work ako dito sa KL pero ang hirap esp. nasanay ka na araw araw mo siya kasama.  to ease the miles, lahat ginawa namin, like oct ako nagpunta dito, december pumunta siya to spend the xmas and our 1st anniv together, then january ako naman umuwi kahit ilang days lang then finally, february pumunta na siya dito.  tinalikuran na niya lahat para lang daw di kami magkahiwalay kasi nga naman mahirap.

minsan, nagbibiruan kami ng ganon, pag nauna yong isa, sasama naman yong isa and vice versa.  good thing, kahit magkasama na kami, kasal na, yong sweetness namin, andon pa rin.  holding hands pa rin kahit sa public, yong sweetness sa isat isa di nawawala.

hay, kaya bilib na bilib ako sa yo sis.  be strong always and i know he is still looking over you and your daughter :) (teka, naiiyak na ko dito sa office, nasa client pa naman kami, hehe)
