i'm sure you travel lots with such amount in your hands monthly. cost of living plays a great deal to one's salary so comparing is useless.

basta ako, i'm going to Oz kasi gustong kong maging Australian citizen ang anak ko. minsan, you have to think long-term, hindi lang yung convenience natin at this moment. siguro, single ka pa. for someone with a family kasi and who has lived outside the phils, mako-compare kasi yung safety at yung convenience sa ibang bansa kesa sa atin. iba yung makakapaglakad ka sa daan with your jewelries or wallet na walang takot na baka ma-snatch, dadaan ka ng airport ng walang hassle or you get a higher salary offer because you're carrying a different passport. i haven't been to Oz kaya hindi ko ma-compare yung point #1 ko, but with #2 and #3, i'm sure correct ako. hihi.

Sis port80*, what laser machine do they usually use here? sa pinas kase ang alam ko mas popular ang diode, mas safe daw.  nung sa pinas hindi ko natapos yung last session because we had to move here i thought mahal dito kaya naisip ko pag bakasyon na lang sa pinas, good news yun kung mas mura dito. thanks

Ay ang daming na-excite haha sa pagtanggal ng unwanted hair hahaha... I go to Hair-free Centre, dami siyang centres all over Oz.  It costs $49/session for UA.  Mura di ba?  I don't know what machine they use, all I know is it's super effective kasi 2 sessions lang ako and wala na halos lahat as in it just kept on falling out .  Although I do know you have to have more sessions para matanggal pati yung mga di pa lumalabas or whatever haha.  The technology they use is called Square Pulse Light and it's the latest from France (supposedly).  Anyway, if anyone's interested, go look if they have a branch near you.  Here's the website: http://www.hairfreecentre.com.au/.  The rates are there as well.

hehe baka naman kasi si trig mapera nga??? eh lagi naman nadedeny ang apply sa Oz kaya parang feel na feel nyang mang iingit eh wala naman na iingit or baka naman kasi sis walang napansin sa atin para bumili ng aussie dollar nya.help nyo naman at dun sya nakita ng 70k a month hehe. papansin talaga tong si trig yun kayabangan mo eh ishare mo sa ibang tao at wag dito para un kumita din sila gaya mo. hindi yun dito ka nag susumiksik eh kakatawa ka naman. ang ilog daw na malalim tahimik ang ilog daw na mababaw maingay.

Though in fairness, ok location namin kc lapit sa lahat, walking distance sa shops, supermarkets parks and 5 mins drive [textspeak!] sa school Ng daughter ko.

Conflict pa kc uwi kmi pinas thus dec to January. Ayaw nanan oayag hubby extend lease namin kht addl 3 more weeks to giveway and prepare sa lag move. Parebook na [textspeak!] daw ticket.

As much as possible Saba gusto ko dito pa din sa suburb na to makakita Ng lilipatan kc ayaw ko na ilipat Ng school daughter ko. Sobrang okay na kc sia dun and bajapag establish na sia friends nia and totally adjusted na din. If lipat kmi ibang suburb, hahanap na naman ako new school Nia. Parang di nga ko naexcite sa pagvacay namin pinas kc ang isip ko paglilipat Ng bahay [textspeak!]. Buti sana kng nakalipat na kmi bago uwi pinas at least all is settled.

Hi sis Jenny,
ang mahal din pala ng rent sa Canberra if your rent is per week, much like, the rent in Sydney.  Mas maganda talaga kung sa same suburb na kayo kasi kawawa naman ang bata kung mag-aadjust ulit although kids adjust easily than teens and adults.

thanks Sis port80*, i had ua laser na in Phils before so super konti na lang. i just wanted to have another session para talagang wala na, kung magkaron ulit no need to worry mura naman pala and no need to wait for another vacation in Phils.

^^Sis jenny_2284, usually the agent/owner will send you a letter 3 months before the renewal of contract and you can even file a complaint. per week ba yan? so $80pw ang increase? usuallly kase $15-20 pw ang increase, di ko lang sure sa ibang members dito kung magkano.

as far as i know, dito talaga sa ACT ang pinakamahal na rental rates. Before set na sana mind naminna get a tenant instead to occupy the other room, but the way the property owner deal with us, we decided to move na lang ... mejo sarcastic and we dont want to stay with that kind of attitude. We dont want to do any business with him. Thoguh we stay keep humble pa din.

Sana nga makahanap kami, yesterday we just drive around sa mga available kaso daughter ko ayaw talaga lumipat school.

Im starting to plan packing the things / stuff here since we are leaving for manila this dec 9, then sunod hubby ko dec 19. Conflict kasi end ng lease is Jan 9. So dapat bago makaalis hubby papuntang pinas, nakahanap na ng malilipatan. We're thinking na pa coordinate namin sa isang pinoy friend din yng paglipat...all is packed na dapat, para lipat lang coordinate na gagawin...

Hay sana magkaron pa ng ibang options. If we rebook naman, will cost us $50 each.

Parang ang siste...asa pilipinas nga kami, ang isip ko naman nag paglilipat ng bahay...

^^ sis, per week yan. $80 ang increase nia talaga. We cant file complaint since yng agent eh turn over na pag manage sa owner mismo kasi nga nung nakuha namin to one year lease at $420, eh gusto ng owner increase kami ng $500 nung bago kami mag 6 mos. So siempre di kami payag kasi nga naka lock ng one year. Binitawan na sila ng agent for that reason since they cant do that daw. Tapos nagkamis understanding na sila ng agent ang ending kami ang naipit. Pero ending di din nila naitaas nung nagconsult sila.

He's comparing sa mga current unit tenants sa rates, sinasabayan nia din kasi nga out location is just a 2 mins walk sa lahat ng shops and parks.

Ang alam ko area namin ang meron daw pinakahighest /. abnormal rental rates.

Excessive naman na pag-taas yan. Mas maganda nga siguro na magpa-rebook na lang kayo ng ticket kesa naman hindi nyo ma-enjoy ang holiday kasi may worries pa kayo sa paglipat at paghanap ng school.

Sana makakita ka ng mabait na landlord sa good location pa rin.
