I received my passport yesterday morning (3 working days after my interview), I was granted a 10yr B1/B2,  i applied for B2 only.

I have an interview tomorrow for Transit Visa. Hopefully, it will be approved. Sana nga wala ng interview since Transit lang naman.

@1234md, naku wag ka matakot dahil sa experience ko. malay mo naman baka sayo ok. feeling ko lnag non, lahat dine-deny nila that day.

tinanong lang ako baket matagal ako nag-stay, sabi ko bagong grad ako non, at pinag-stay ako ng daddy ko ng matagal before mag-work dito. don na nya sinabing sorry at di raw nya ako mabibigyan ng visa.

^sis, keep us posted ah.  although my 10 yr B1/B2 visa is expiring in 2017 pa (hopefully, may VRP pa by that time lol), i'm interested to know the experiences of our sisses here on this program.

^Surely sis! Hopefully, wala ng tumawag sa akin for further verifications or whatever! : )
Although medyo misleading pa rin yung sasabihing drop-off na lang yung passports pag VRP.
May interview pa rin for verifications pero puro Pinoy na and not consuls.  Medyo mabilis din process kasi may separate lines/lanes for VRP and the regular ones who are lining up for US Visa Application. May mga hinanda akong documents like my NSO marriage and birth certs, employees cert with compensation and ITR pero wala namang hiningi na.
Talagang nag rely lang sa sinubmit na application on line.
May boboo actually ako yesterday, i forgot pala to print yung CEAC Confirmation letter, the one with our pic thatbi have to go pa to the nearest computer shop to print it. Yung passports (all passports issued to our name are needed) plus the comfirmation letter ang kailangang dalhin.

Dunno if this has been posted here already, but anyway share ko lang:

my first time to fill out the DS 160 form online, so inuna ko yung para sa sarili ko then now yung sa husband ko naman ang sinasagutan ko online...

kaya lang na pa stop ako, kasi sa hubby ko may mga lumabas na questions about previous employer and education, eh ang pagkatanda ko yung sa akin walang ganung questions, binalikan ko pa yung print out nung sa akin...sabi ko kasi baka may na miss out ako...pero wala talaga akong sinagutan about it.

so i tried searching sa internet about it, may nabasa ako na ang DS160 form questions pala , nag va-vary depende if female or male ka.

so i tried changing my husband's gender into female, just to see if magbabago nga...ayun true nga nawala yung mga previous employer and education questions....

so hindi pa din ako na satisfy i still called the visa information hotline to confirm bakit may mga questions na hindi lumabas sa DS 160 form ko - so ang sagot nung sa hotline - talaga daw nag va-vary ang questions sa DS 160 it is based on GENDER and AGE daw...

so yun, at least ok na confirmed ko na, na walang kulang dun sa form na finill-out ko

Question:  ano yung ten-printed na question sa online application form?  I don't remember having been ten-printed but it is possible naman na nagawa na din ito sa akin.  How should I answer this question?

^Sis Marose, NO yung sagot dun sa ten-printed. It means kasi parang nagkaroon ka ng criminal record , i think. Kasi pinagtanong ko din yan sa ate ko kasi hindi ako masyado rin sure nung una.he!he!

I had my interview earlier and my visa was approve! Sana B1/B2 ibigay hehe kahit transit visa lang kinuha ko. Nakapasok ako agad sa loob. Hindi naman super tagal yung process. Sinurrender ko yoong green card ko so midway during my interview, pinaakyat muna ako sa homeland securities section tapos pinabalik ako sa interview section. Medyo masungit yoong consul ko. Noong una hindi ako kinakabahan pero noong finger scanning at interview na kinabahan na ako. Buti nalang eh na approve. After 7 days makukuha. Sana nga earlier marelease.

Sabi sa travel agency kapag transit visa raw eh one stopover lang allowed. Pero iveverify daw muna nila. Is this true? Sana hindi kasi may 2 stopovers sa US eh.

Question mga sis..may nakaexperience na ba mg-apply ng visa using their passport with maiden name (name nong.single pa) pero married na? Kinakabahan kasi ako eh..super gahol na oras if magpaparenew pa ako.. Sa nov 16 ang expected depature if magrant kami visa..our company.is joining a food fair kasi at kami ang.representative ni hubby..sana makatulong yong letter endorsed by dti..

^Sis,better kung ipa-expedite mo ang passport mo with your real status na kesa mag apply ka using your maiden's name. Kasi pag nag-apply ka online, it means ang name also na ide declare mo ay nung single ka pa. US Embassy have a way of verifying what we have submitted online. Baka macross-examine ka sis sa actual interview at malaman nila na married ka na pala. It will raise questions. Better to come clean sis para di ka rin stress sa interview. Actually sis, nung kumuha ako ng sked although for renewal lang ako, nakakuha ako ng sked nitong week na ito.
Wag ka na makipagsapalaran. Mahirap na.
Matagal pa sis ang November 16, may time ka pa to renew your passport.

K@sis k_heart ty sa reply.. pati si hubby need rin pachange status noh? i got our schedule sa dfa on the 29th so baka oct. 20 ko na makuha passport ko..may makuha pa kaya akong appointment date for visa interview ng october nyan?

@marose17 - Ten-printed means that you have provided fingerprints for all your fingers, as opposed to having provided only two fingerprints. Dati kasi siguro 2 fingerprints lang ginagawa nila pag nag-apply ka ng visa.

"The Department of State currently uses 10‑fingerprint scanners at most of its visa‑issuing posts and will complete deployment worldwide by the end of 2007."

so if you applied and got your visa 10 years ago, and been to the U.S. before 2007, most likely you were not ten-printed yet. hope this helps.
