^^but in the future, for renewal, di possible for VRP cos the visa will be annotated "clearance received". Oh well, at least approved.

Btw, for those done with VRP, as in no docs needed? Only applic form, bank slip, photo & passport only? Thinking of doing VRP before the year ends.

@theflygirl, you need to bring all passports that was covered under the expired visa. my hubby still brought all docs usually needed, just in case (if malasin) he needed to show them. he even brought my visa, and kid's visa. just to be sure

^Thanks...cos I checked with the embassy hotline, if ever needed ang docs, they'll call you up na lang nga daw and not on the same day. I just wanted to be sure...I wanted to go ahead with VRP para sa renewal ng kids ko, focus ko sila na lang and finished na ko...esp sasabay again sina MIL n SIL ko application nila...

Although nung last time kasi, (di pa uso VRP yearsss ago), nung isasabay si MIL sa min ng kids (2kids pa lang back then), through phone appt, I had to call again and join her sked to ours kasi di sya immediate family member...so bale two IDD calls but we got the same interview appt sked...dunno na now how it is....now, I'll undergo VRP for mine (hubby renewed his last yr, 10yrs ulit) tapos ipainterview sked ko sina MIL n my now 4kids for renewal...pls let me know how your procedure is...

hi sis! there's a question in the ds160 if i've been 10-printed. i have a tourist visa, pero di ko na masyado matandaan kung 10-printed. i would think oo. usually it's 10 right?

Hi girls! I'm also applying for a us visa here in switzerland. They're asking for either a contact person or company sa form ds-160. I don't have any relatives naman sa US and I'm just going there for vacation. What should I put ba? Ok lang ba if yung hotel na lang ilagay ko? Kelangan ko na bang magpabook sa hotel? Will they contact ba the hotel? TIA!

Paid na last week sa BPI for my us visa renewal thru VRP. I will set na sana an appointment pero need na pala muna to fill up the online form before i can get an appointment. Then, nung magpi-fill up na ako, need na pala sa application na mag a-upload rin ng ID pic. Ngek, kaya ayun, nag stop muna ako. Medyo nalito at natamad kasi ako. Hopefully by tom,makapag id pic na ako so that i can go ahead in filling up the form. Hope to have an appointment by October kasi November yung flight ko.

Mga sis, nag renew thru VRP, please pashare na lang ng experience even the process. What i did na lang today para sabihing may ginagawa ako sa renewal is to ask for a certificate of employment with compensation sa Finance Department namin and have someone pick up my NSO marriage certificate kasi single ako nung unang nagrant yung US Visa ko.
Hay,nakakatamad talaga ang pagprocess lalo na at dami work sa office.

hi sis! there's a question in the ds160 if i've been 10-printed. i have a tourist visa, pero di ko na masyado matandaan kung 10-printed. i would think oo. usually it's 10 right?

ten printed is when the embassy gets the fingerprints of all your 10 fingers electronically.  it's like what we do when we get the NBI clearance but electronically.  i-didiin nila yun fingers mo sa isang pad tapos they take a picture electronically

the earlier the better.  remember, sa 615, marami din kayo nakapila.  hopefully you're done by 9pm

be honest.  isang sagot, isang tanong and be confident.  memeorize to death your application kasi their questions will be drawn from the application din

just put the name of your hotel.  that's what I did with my application, nagsearch lang ako ng hotel in new york and put the details sa form. no bookings whatsoever required.

my application was approved 10yrs multiple.

pinakamalaking problema ko dito is yun bank acct eh. i dont have a bank acct. pero meron ako investment. so investment cert lang madadala ko.

yep, kelangan ng printed copy ng confirmation. okay lang naman siguro na b&w (though mine was colored hehe), marami ako nakita na b&w yung dala nilang print out.
