Finally finish filling up the online form. And already got a schedule for September 21 for my VRP. Yun na lang free sked for September. Yung October halos puno na rin.

hi sisses... anyone tried applying for your yayas? tourist visa... we want to bring our yaya with us on our next trip to the states. the thing is we all have our visas na except our yaya. so if ever, mag isa yung yaya punta sa interview... meron na ba naka apply for their yayas? hope someone can help here as to what my yaya should bring and show... and pano procedure

^ive posted this on a previous thread. If you're gonna let your yaya tag along on your trip, and you'll be declaring this legally, she'd fall under the category, DOMESTIC OR PERSONAL EMPLOYEE and must be paid the prevailing US wage rates. If you won't be declaring her as such, then it's the regular non immigrant tourist visa application procedure.

I had my interview yesterday, my schedule was 7.15am. When I arrived at 6.30am, im already at the end of the line. By 7am, a sticker was put on my passport and allowed to enter the building. I had my interview around 8.35am. The consul only asked me how long did I stay in the US, I said "more than a week". He said "you will receive your visa within 7 days".
 
Maybe it will be difficult to renew a visa if u stayed in the US for almost 6 months.

No.  My only visa was a 3month, single entry with annotation of  "visiting family in california 2 week stay"  in 2005

Looks like the consuls are suspicious to those who stayed there for months. May iba kasi na nagtatrabaho dun for 5-6months, every other year.

hubby received his renewed visa yday - 10yrs multiple again

My first ever visa when i was still a kids was indefinite multiple... Sayang binago na yun...

sis, expired na visa last year august so nagexpire na din yung 1 year na required for vrp.. sad nga eh! help naman... whats our chance? parent and sister with 10 years multiple visa that expired last year, not applicable na for vrp kaya for interview and regular process na kami.. benn to the states 5x already, all of us.. will they interview pa din ba as family? or individual na? kasi pareho na kami working ng sis ko.. pero we will still apply as a group sa online application form.. thanks.. feedback naman please!

why not renew first lalo na kung first time applicants.  para less questions, remember less talk less mistake

IMO, i would apply to have my passport carry my married name para malinis.  kasi the US Visa will copy the name of the passport.   If you declare you are married but your passport still shows your single name, it might raise a lot of questions.

so, i went last friday. sadly, denied ako. sa medyo nakakaloka na dahilan. matagal daw akong nag-stay last visit ko sa US. 5 months ako nagbakasyon non, pero 6 months binigay saken don. never ako nag overstay tuwing nagpupunta ako don. kaya medyo na-sad ako kase ang labo ng sagot saken ng consul when i asked him ano reason.

pag abot ng blue form saken, nakalagay don na i dont intend to stay temporarily in the US. haay oh well, will try na lang ulet mag-apply next year. sayang, sagot pa naman sana ng company namin trip ko.

Hi Does anyone of you here applied for a Visa for Medical or Emergency Situations (B-1/B-2)?
Or just apply na lang for a tourist visa? My dad kc is sick for a long time since nag punta sila dun. petitioned kasi kami. Naiwan na kami ng 3 sisters ko kasi may family na kami and lagpas na kami sa age limit nila.. all my dad's family are in US na..

Now im planning to visit and also to pasyal my kidds. My husband doesnt want to apply for a visa since he reasoned out na [textspeak!] syang plan to go there pa (busy kasi sa work). Pwede ba yung without the husband mag apply kami ng kids ko? or mas okey if the husband also apply for a visa?

@dBum aw sorry to hear that, company sponsored pero denied I'm scheduled for VRP pero parang ayoko na muna magrenew dahil sa sad news mo. 1yr validity ng visa fees dba? VRP ka din ba sis? I stayed there for 2 months nung last visit ko pero meron din akong 4-month stay. Di ko naman alam na bad magstay ng matagal kasi 6months nga bnbgay nila. Did he ask you kung ano ginawa mo there for 5 months or basta denied na agad? Di naman ako mkakapgtagal ngayon sembreak kasi I have school pero sayang naman yung 6020 kung denied, ayoko i-risk.

Just got back from Us embassy for my Visa Renewal (VRP). May interview pa din just to check some facts  na sinubmit. After that another window, for finger scanning. Then kinuha na lahat ng passports ko, and she told me to wait ng 7 days for my US Visa. If may questions pa, they will call within 2 days.

Ayun tinanong din sa akin kung ilang beses na ako nag US at pinaka-longest stay ko sa US.
