oh... na-confuse na rin ako. mine kasi, my mom remarried - so to avoid confusion or more questions from the consul, i put in her maiden name (although she passed away 11 years ago na). on our birth certificate naman kasi maiden name ng mga moms natin nakasulat di ba? so i guess any would be fine.

ay parehas tayo.. kinasal na rin ulet mom ko eh. kaya nung una, nilagay ko yun name nya ngayon. kaso bigla nga lang din ako napaisip kung dapat ba eh yun maiden name nya. pero kase sya rin nilagay ko sa kung san ako tutuloy sa states. kaya diba, bagong prob ko na naman. baka pag nilagay ko don yun name nya ngayon, malito na sila na magkaiba ang full name ng nanay ko.

sis, ako din yung married name ng mother ko ang nilagay ko   i guess both are ok. pagpasok sa embassy yung pink form na fillup-an, dun puro maiden names ang ilalagay (yours and your mom's).

ay thanks sis!!! tandaan ko yan, maiden names sa pink form.. nilagay ko na lang yun name ng mom ko ngayon. naisip ko rin di naman naka specify don na maiden name. sabi lang mothers full name. hehe

i'm a single mom.. had my visa since i was 8 years old, tapos renew nalang nang renew.. my visa expired last 2007.. i gave birth 2010.. i'm planning to renew my visa and apply my son for a visa.. pero ang plan, sabay sabay kami ng family ng brother ko.. pare pareho kami ng surname.. my son's middle initial is N/A, walang nakadeclare na father.. yung brother and sis in law ko, for renewal din, tapos together with their kids na magaapply for new visas.. plan namin summer vacation for the whole family in 2012.. i have a business, also meron ding own business yung brother ko.. my sis in law is a dentist.. maaprubahan kaya kami? maluwag ba ngayon?

^ Maluwag sila ngayon. Recession kasi ang States. By luck lang din kasi sis. Sana maganda ang mood ng consul ng mag-interview. Be honest & consistent na lang din. Plus factor na din na may visa ka na dati pa. Good Luck sis. Sana ma-approve kayo. Be positive.

after ko ma-deny last aug.12 gusto ko ulit mag-try... sana naman sa 2nd try ko ma-grant na ko ng visa...

good luck! just as long as you will really go back to the Phil, i think they will grant you a visa. just smile and look pleasant. not too intimidating and not too lax naman

^No need to renew your US visa until it expires. Just bring your old passport with the valid US visa together with your renewed passport when you leave for the US.

^^no need to get a new visa. I've travelled twice with this situation and didnt get any problem. Just bring the valid us visa in the old passport, your new passport with married name, and an nso copy of your marriage certificate. I was never asked for a copy of my marriage certificate but i brought one just in case. My ports of entry were sanfo and michigan

we had our interview last aug 30.. dapat sept 13 pero napaexpedite ko interview namin.. we were so thankful at nabigyan kami.. ako for renewal si hubby twice na nadeny tas me petition pa siya.. pero nabigyan din siya sa wakas...
