^Still hot, but a bit cooler than coming there in July and August. I believe the temp can rise upto early 40's celsius in July and August. Pag Sept  mga 30-35 degrees celsius and at night it's cooler.

I'll be in Vegas also next month.  I'll be celebrating my birthday there with my family.  We're booked at the Monte Carlo Hotel, any recos for nice restaurants (not too expensive kasi marami kami hehe) where I can have my birthday dinner?  =) Also, worth it ba to go all the way to the Premium Outlets for shopping?  Sobrang good deal ba?  Also, how are the monorails?  Safe ba or mas okay magbus?  Thanks in advance! =)

^sept is still very hot in vegas. in my experience,nag start lumamig pag first week of november as we always come every year during this time. but it's okay even if it's hot ( we've been to vegas in diff. months of the year- early april, november and december) if you're mostly staying indoors anyway. there's lots of restaurants in vegas. look up restaurants in yelp. most off strip restaurants are affordable and can accomodate big groups.

i always make it a point go to las vegas premium outlets- the one in grand central pkwy. i think this is the best one in vegas. i never miss this as i love shopping. monorails are okay but limited ka lang sa strip but i dont think i will ride the bus as some parts of vegas are sketchy.. daming homeless and weirdos. why dont you get a rental van if you are a big group?

^ hi sis, I think you're coming at a better time. As the temp has decreased by then. Not as much. We went to Palm Springs for the the 4th of July and para kaming nasa oven. Even at night, it was still hot. Parang may fan na hot  air ang ini expel. Although may kalayuan ang Palm Sprigs sa Vegas, parehas sila climate hehe. We didn't take the public transport; as we had our car then so can't comment on it, but do go to the Premium Outlet. Mas lesser yung tax nila. Pero since outlet so older styles but at cheaper prices. For me it was still pricey, I kept converting it to ££ and to other regular prices and I found that its still cheaper. May mga high end stores din for bags and shoes. As for food, we relied on yelp a lot. We did had the obligatory brunch buffet at caesar's palace, and it was really worth it. Parang wow. We didn't know how to walk after.  Hope this helps. We also tried the country style fried chicken steak at Ellis Island. It was good. Big servings. We didn't had any other fried chicken steaks so we had no basis for comparison. Enjoy your holiday

Undaunted, you're right, mostly indoors nga naman.  =)  We do plan on staying on the strip lang actually since 3 days lang kami; marami bang must-sees outside the strip?  We also changed hotels, sa Bally's na kami since it has a monorail station na unlike Monte Carlo.  We do have a van but it'll be used mostly by the oldies hehe who'll be at my Tita's house; kaming medyo young ones will be staying at the hotel.  Thanks for the suggestions! =) 

Bonzaigirl, brunch buffet at the Caesar's Palace sounds good!    Nakaka-intriga din ang fried chicken steak na yan.  Will definitely look them up!  Thanks so much for the suggestions! =)

No worries sis   Glad I could help. .  I'm not sure if The Bellagio Hotel is near the Monte Carlo but do visit it. They have this nice dancing fountain every hour, or every 30 minutes ata. Can't remember na.  You can also try and check the fremont light show, but this is at the old strip. If you're commuting just be wary as medyo dodgy yung places na sa old strip. We were walking around and there were a group of kids following us. Well, it was kind of scary at first. hehe. Bigla kami nagturn sa busier street. hehe.

My husband and I just came from Vegas last 3rd weekend of July. Ang init nga pero temp drops nga at night kaya masarap maglakad. Sa strip lang kami the whole 3 days and 2 nights except when we went to Jollibbe. Hehe. Nagbus lang kami going to Jollibbee. 5 dollars yung bus pass for 24 hours. So most of the time, Hotel hopping lang kami and shows and lakad sa gabi. Ang daming pimp. Haha. Sabay na kami ni hubby maglakad, may nag aabot pa ng flyers ng mga girls. Tingin ata nila, willing kami sa threesome. Hehe.

We stayed at Treasure Island. It was so so but we watched Mystere kasi kaya sabi ko dun na lang din kami magstay. We also watched Jubillee at Bally's. Sa food, we tried Paris buffet, hindi ko nagustuhan but the prime rib is awesome. I liked B&B Burger at Venetian. Masarap sya pero maliit lang yung place.

I liked Vegas, parang there is so much too see kahit puro hotels lang naman. I wont think twice of coming back.

The last time I was in vegas was I think 2 years ago. We stayed at the venetian where we got discounted rates for the rooms because we know a filipino manager.  I am not sure if Lucilles is still open there in vegas but they serve awesome beef ribs. Almost everywhere you go in vegas offer prime rib in their buffets and.sobra sarap nga and it is not that expensive.there.   my family plans to go back by next year. Cant wait to go food tripping there. Hehehhe

Was in Vegas last week.  Suwerte namin kasi umulan kaya malamig.  Didn't really like the strip though.  Ang wild kasi haha.  Good thing a friend toured us to the other parts of Vegas.  We went to Red Rock which is very beautiful.  Nagpunta rin kami sa Tivoli and Summerlin where we saw a different kind of Vegas.  Siguro kung babalik ako dito, it will be just for the shows.  Not a fan of the wild crowd talaga eh haha.   And oh yeah, we went to Fremont and saw a lot of weird characters lol.

^Yep. Malamig na sa Nevada this December. Bring coats lang siguro and boots to keep you warm. And gloves na din. Lowest temperature might reach 1 degree Celcius. Kung kaya mo naman ang lamig, boots, gloves and light jacket okay na hehe.

We'll be in Las Vegas most probably in March and according to accuweather.com, March temp will be around 19-23 during the day and 7-10 at night.

So far, after back reading the thread, here are some of the activities I have listed down that we can do:
- M&M's World
- Pawn Stars (hubby likes to show so we really have to visit)
- Shows:
  > Blue Man Group
  > Zarkana, Zumanity, O or Ka
Hoover Dam
Grand Canyon
- Hotel hopping + buffet

Wish ko lang we can watch all the shows pero syempre super expensive. Based on what I read here, I'm leaning towards watching Zumanity.

We'll be 3 weeks in the US pero we're going to LA too & maybe SFO; if tuloy all 3, we'll probably spend a week in each state.

Any other suggestions for Las Vegas aside from what I have above?

^ most hotels have buffet..we've tried most if not all and i recommend wicked spoon in cosmopolitan, the buffet at wynn, bachannal at caesars palace and the buffet at bellagio..these i think are among the priciest of the hotel buffets but kung minsan lang naman it would be worth it :p

for buffet, wicked spoon lang din naaalala ko. m buffet supposedly went downhill but at its height, i preferred it to wicked spoon. for me though lugi ang buffet. my favorite places to eat in vegas are lotus of siam and tacos el gordo.

i was just in vegas this weekend and dabest talaga downtown for me. mas laidback. we went to a strip club din bwaha. saya saya.

I was in Vegas last weekend. So fuuun! It was chilly and windy though. I have to put on my jacket at night, and at night naman, I need for coverage sa sun! Tustado!

We were there last May 2-5 and we had so much fun   Hubby's sister lives here so we had a place to stay during our time there. Hindi na kame nag night out na as in gimik/clubbing hehe!

Here are the things we did/places we went to:
- Gilroy, CA: since we drove from San Franciso to Las Vegas, this was on the way. We bought fruits and had Garlic Ice Cream!! hehe

- Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign: of course, default ito hehe!

- Las Vegas strip: just drove through and took in the sights (for now)

- Mt. Charleston: snow!!! lots and lots of snow, yay! Since it rained a few days before we arrived, nag snow pa ulit. Pero natunaw na daw yun a couple of weeks prior.

- Bellagio hotel: the lobby display was so beautiful -- ang gaganda ng flower displays! We also watched the fountain show - yung normal and yung may lights display. We walked around the strip na din after the show.

- Fremont Street: or the 'original/old Las Vegas' strip; this is the one with the biggest LED display as the ceiling. There were a lot of street entertainers and a couple of shows (Elvis & parang rock and roll group).

- World of Coca Cola: if you've seen the Coca Cola polar bear in YouTube yung super cute, nandito pala siya! Hehe! You can use your own camera to take a picture with him, pero 'normal' lang yung pose niya. Yung funny/cute na poses gagawin niya pag camera na nila hehe so you need to buy the photos na funny, mejo mahal, so tinignan nalang namen!

- M&M World: we bought M&Ms from the huge wall of different kinds of M&Ms; nandun yung new flavors nila and different sizes as well.

- Miracle Mile Shops: we just strolled inside and nagpa-aircon hehe mainit pa din sa tanghali.

- Ross Las Vegas: we went a bit crazy here, enough said haha!

- Krazy Buffet: buffet dinner with some family (we didn't have buffet na in any hotel)

- Hoover Dam: bring a cap and water! Mainit talaga hehe or baka kase we went there ng tanghaling tapat.

- Las Vegas South Premium Outlets: 2 days namen 'to inikot or sinuyod ba yung better term hehe! We decided talaga na sa Las Vegas mag shopping (instead of in CA) para lower yung tax rate. Too bad hindi na kame nakaikot sa outlet sa North side.

- New York, New York: had lunch in Shake Shack and rode the roller coaster!! Grabe, super saya nito!!

Sayang hindi kame nakapasok sa Pawn Stars, nadaanan lang namen. For next time, will make sure that we get to see a show. Was aiming for Cirque Zumanity pero hindi na kinaya. We were supposed to go to Grand Canyon din pero nabitin na sa time.
