sorry to say, wala akong favorite sa kanilang anim. the lemon square was too dry, nakakahirin. mas nasasarapan ako sa lemon squares ng conti's. yung choco raisin bar naman sobrang tamis! the others are moist and sticky alright but the taste is just okay.  better na rin to try it for yourself so maybe you'll know which you like best.

hindi rin ako nakatiis! i paid becky's kitchen a visit on my way to fetch my daughter from SSC, medyo maaga kasi ako. anyway, medyo masusungit yung mga store clerks nila ano? hindi palangiti. among the cakes, the ice box cake, swiss chocolate cake and the coffee cream cake really caught my attention. but since we still have a cake at home, i just bought a sampler box and some chocolate crinkles for my daughter's baon in school (they have classes tomorrow). next week ko na try yung cakes talaga. 

u8mypinkcookies, i asked about the popcorn and they said matagal na raw silang hindi gumagawa non. sayang.

aww, sayang naman. I saw it kasi sa pricelist nila before so I got curious. Eh when we went there, wala naman ako nakita. I agree, parang masungit nga mga staff nila dun 

parang I wanna try that coffee cake-- I love anything coffee-based naman e Haay nakaka-miss yung Swiss Choco Cake. Gusto ko sya kasi para syang Devil's Food Cake (from Choco Kiss Cafe) na meron nung caramel crunch like the cakes in Red Ribbon.. waaah sinful. haha.

^yes joy sarado sila pag monday at tumpak ka masusungit ang mga tindera sanay lang ako kasi masusungit rin mga staff sa st.scho nung nag aaral pa ako haha

^oh, i see. wala kasing nakalagay sa facebook page nila na closed on mondays. balik na lang ako bukas. (in fairness, friendly na ang staff ng st. scho ngayon. sana yung sa becky's din, ngumiti naman kahit konti.)

^haha ganun ba? Baka sa wakas nagka-seminar na pati mga tao sa canteen at security guards ang susungit nung panahon ko anyway, sa cakes ng becky's ay caramel talaga pinakagusto ko. Second ang mousse at third ang swiss cake pero dapat super lamig ito para mabawasan ang tamis

i almost didn't buy from becky's kitchen today because there were so many customers when i first dropped by, i was running a bit late to fetch my daughter. but because i was going to have lasagna for lunch, naisip ko bagay talaga na may cake.  so i went back to becky's after fetching my daughter kahit medyo out of the way na pabalik. i only got a slice of the swiss chocolate cake and a slice of the coffee cream cake. happiness! i decided to have the swiss chocolate cake first because i could not resist the smell. chocolate chiffon with a layer of mocha cream plus marshmallow icing and huge chunks of honeycomb crunch spell L-O-V-E!!! all the components go very well together. best of all, it's only P50 per slice. yummy!

i'll eat the coffee cream cake na lang tomorrow. it has the strong smell of coffee kaya medyo natakot akong kainin ngayon dahil baka hindi ako makatulog mamaya.  but i resolve to try every single one of the cakes at becky's, except the cheesecakes. next week talaga yung caramel cake, promise.

the coffee cream cake is great, too! light and airy in texture but big on taste. it's black coffee that you can eat! gising na gising ako nito!

we went to beckys kitchen last weekend, 4 na box ng fudge brownies binili ko plus 1 box og krinkles. oh boy, maya't maya ako kumakain ng brownies. ngayon ubos na lahat (pero nagshare naman ako), gusto ko pa ulit bumalik sa manila.

Super fav ko yun potato almond crunch cake nila. maski i-ref mo and next day mo ka kainin, super yummy pa din.  moist pa rin siya.

try din their cheese rolls and their butter cake.  think they sell this by the slice.  it's really good also.

Will try the caramel cake next time i pass by.

^chiffon yung coffee cake nila sis parang version nila ng tiramisu d nga lang lady fingers ang gamit ayan may craving ako ahaha bawal pa naman na matamis sa akin sa ngayon pati choco pati peanuts.

Bago ko nakilala si mary grace cheese rolls e si becky's muna sarap din dati ng cheese rolls nila ewan lang if mayroon pa sila kasi 90`s pa ako huli nakabili.
