Connecticut is pronounce as Conneticut ( silent middle C)

the proper pronunciation is /twenti/

Many people don't enunciate properly when they speak and many are lazy to enunciate the inner 't's so we commonly say /twenny/ instead of the proper /twenti/ .

^Sis, Coach is pronounced with the CO rhyming with "low" followed by the CH as pronounced in the word "chance". No fancy pronunciation there. It's an American brand afterall.
