All about cosmetic contact lenses

hala.. balak ko pa naman sana bumili ng contact lens.. for cosmetic purpose lang..  balak ko sana yung brown or grey geo xch 624 or xch625..  http://www.geo21eye.com/index.html?subz=02&stepz=09 hindi ko kasi alam kung ano mas maganda yung grey or brown. im morena at may eyebags.. lol..

pero nag dadalawang isip parin ako kasi first time ko.. and takot ako baka madamage lang din eyes ko.. yung grand mother ko kasi got blind dahil nadamage yung eyes nya.. although its not from contact lens.. pero feeling ko tuloy i might also have a sensitive eyes.

^kung first time mo, not advisable yung circle lenses dahil TOO BIG siya for your eyes.. Buy and practice muna yung mga nasa optical shops na freshlook or others na trusted brands.. Then kung ok ka na at di ka satisfied at talagang gusto mo ng circle lenses, irisk mo na. Pero from what I know, may circle lenses ang sarabia. I forgot the name lang

^sis depende sa kulay ng skin mo, undertone, etc.. Saka sis, may mga colored contact lens na kapag nilagay sa eyes, nag iiba yung color depende sa original color ng eyes mo kaya depende rin talaga sa kakalabasan ng eyes mo.. Ang pinaka-safe i think ay yung brown color, hazel brown, green.. Pero may iba na di bagay sa kanila yan ha.. And parang nabasa ko na prefer nila yung tri-color ba yun (kung tama yung term haha).. Mas mukhang natural yun..

^ nakakatakot talaga circle lens. Authentic man o hindi nakakastrain ng eyes. Ill stick to my glasses. I only wear them pagnasa marami taong lugar kasi hindi ko makita yung mga nasa malayo.

nakaka strain talaga sis. the first contact lens that i used was GEO. it felt really hard and i thought ganyan lahat ng contact lens(i read that kaya pala harder siya than usual is because they're using cheaper materials to cut cost). i'm now using a pair that i bought from an optical shop. it's softer naman and smaller, though it's still bigger than our pupil.

i think marami ding brands yung colored lenses from optical shops. may nakita nga akong mga crazy lenses, like the ones from GEO hehe. merong circle lenses sa EO - flexwear yung brand. may doll eyes effect sila. i can't comment on the quality and such because i've never bought one.

it's just sad to hear that there are people who would sacrifice their eyesight for the sake of beauty :/

^sacrifice for beauty sake pero madalas, hindi bagay. Or scary sila tignan sa sobrang laki ng pupils. Hahaha.

Eh kung may pwedeng gawin lang para di malabo mata ko, gagawin ko pero di pa ako pwede sa lasix. Ayoko kasi mag contact lens na or eyeglasses..

Di pa ako nagbbuy pero nagstart na ako tumingin sa mga optical stores.
Meron narin sila mga circle lens na style na medyo hawig narin yung style ng Geo.

^sis, tumataas pa yung grado ng mata ko though mabagal na sya unlike before.. "Medyo" bata pa kasi ako kaya may tendency pa talaga na tumaas grado..

artificialstar: First colored lenses that I have worn yung sa EO galing way before na makapagtry ako nung circle lenses. True, malambot talaga yung sa optical shop hindi katulad non mga circle lenses from online stores mga dueba, geo and the like masakit sa mata yung parang may sabon yung nilalagay mo and very drying sa mata.

nakakalito ata sinabe ko sis hehe meaning ko yung mga 'circle lens' type sa optical shops parang medyo hawig sa angel series yung design. nice rin ba yung freshlook? mukha ba silang natural lang?

Ako naman before (around 2006-2009) fresh look with grade ang gamit ko. I love hazel and gray. Manipis lang siya sa mata. parang wala kang suot. Kaya lang nahirapan ako maghanap before so I switched to EO. yung fresh lenses yata yung gnamit ko before. but now I love their emotions and enhance. Mine now is color green tea. ang ayoko lang sa EO ang bilis lumabo at  medyo nakakapalan kasi ako yung tipo bang pag pumipikit ako nararamdaman ko sila

Am not afraid to explore colors i tried Blue, green, gray and even violet take note I'm not maputi

I've been using Geo and Freshlook for a month now.
Para sa eye correction and astigmatism.
Nung una, i have difficulties in putting it, but later on, sanayan lang.
Okay naman siya, I bought it from Sarabia Optical, together with All Comfort Multipurpose Solution.
I clean my lenses every other day.
So i guess, irritation depends on how you use and clean your lenses./
Also, sometimes i feel discomfort.
Parang ang init ng eyes ko, and nagluluha. So If you feel this is happening, quickly remove your lenses and let your eyes cool, or put solution drops.
Clean your lenses before putting them on again.

currently using Dueba's / Barbie Girly Chip / Soy Latte (daming pangalan!). bought it for 500 ata online. may grado kasi ako pero ayoko mag preorder so kinukuha ko nalang yung mga on stock. ok naman siya pero medyo nakakatakot pag walang makeup, may pattern kasi siya. sana may mga lumabas na bago na mas natural tignan. im maputi but i'd rather go for brown, mas natural kasi. i've tried green, blue, and gray before pero ang trying-hard kasi masyado tignan.

^sis madaming maganda sa mga optical shops meron sa kanila may mga pattern, yung iba parang natural lang.. I think they're also available with grades.. I used freshlook and eo before.. Pinaka gusto ko yung sandalwood (brown cl from eo) maganda sa maputi yun.. Sadly, napagbawalan na ako sa contact lens.. I wanna wear ulit, though. Pero clear lang

^ i'd rather buy korean brands sis kasi mas madaming pagpipilian talaga, mas mura, tsaka lahat extended wear... i've always used GEO, EOS, Dueba, etc. no probs whatsoever naman and i always buy sa reliable and authorized supplier. like ko din the fact na they are very very enlarging. sa optical shops kasi hanggang 14.0mm lang mga nakikita ko. with Korean brands abot 15.0mm, dolly look talaga.

when i was in highschool, 3 years kong gamit yung sa EO na Coffee. super natural tignan sakin, and like ko yung vibrancy niya. kaso for 600+ for 3 months lang, lugi ako. tsaka bilis talaga mag-spoil, di umaabot ng 3 months yung sakin and im very OC sa lenses ko. i clean them palagi with cleaning solution (not the multipurpose one) as indicated. Sa 600 mo may 1 year lenses ka na with korean brands.
