All about cosmetic contact lenses

Joining... Before I was using fresh look contact lenses because my tita is an employee of the distributor, but now, hindi na ko nakakapunta ng quiapo. I am currently using EO lenses, nung una OK naman kaya lang ngaun I noticed na hindi na comfortable ang mga graded colored lenses nila. I am planning to switch, but wala pakong naiisip na maganda

san pa bang optical stores pwede mag-avail ng air optix? fresh look din ata mga nasa EO eh, dun din ako nag-avail, pero yun nga, medyo makapal, ramdam na ramdam siya.
Ano pong magandang drops? I'm using kasi yung all-in-one na sauflon, pero mabilis padin siya magdry

hindi ko gusto mga lenses sa EO kahit freshlook ayaw ko mabuti pa yung mga korean lenses

I recently ordered tear lens brown kasi ayaw talaga ni hubby ang super obvious na circle lenses
( i have nudy  brown, nudy gray, angel gray, honey wing) ayaw nya talaga haha

sana sa tear lens hindi na masyado halata

freshkon gamit ko dati e freshkon define brown hindi nya halatang meron, sayang ala na ko makitang nagbebenta

hi i just bought a geo contact lens and it is my first time. Need pa po bang isoak first sa solution or pwede na isuot from the bottle? TIA

i have a question, is it allowed to put eye make up while wearing contact lens? hindi ba ito nakaka irritate sa eyes? and whats the best thing to put make up,before hindi mo pa sinuot ang contact lens or nasa eyes muna ang contact lens? im confused. i hope someone can answer me... tnx

Di ko rin masyadong type yung sa EO. Mas comfy ang geo lens.. Kaso I still buy from EO kasi natatakot akong damaged stock yung makuha ko from geo eh hindi na siya puwedeng ibalik sa reseller. Tapos pre order pa yung graded. Anyone here know if there is an optical shop here selling geo lenses? I really need to switch na kasi my lenses from EO damaged my eye.


^^ hey sis snowhite_12, I do it either way. Usually I put my contacts first if it's colored so I can adjust my make up to it. Just make sure your eyeliner, mascara, etc. are all contact lens safe. Also, it would help if you use eyedrops after make up application. If you are only going to put your lenses after make up application, then use eyedrops before putting on your lenses  It cleanses the surface in case there are any make up fall outs present.

I am also using colored contact lenses from EO okay naman yung hazel brown sa akin. Ang ayaw ko lang sa EO contact lenses na colored, the more time you use them, parang nawawala yung grad ng lenses. Is it possible ba na mawala rin ang grade ng colored contact lenses or depends on the brand? kaya di ko sinusuot ang contact lens ko everyday because of that reason. I wear eye glasses instead pag sa work. And if you guys know other brands of contact lenses and safe, do tell please? I'd like to switch na rin kasi TIA!

mga sis ingat sa mga lenses ha. diba yun geo ang nat.v. dahil contaminated.with bacteria daw. and that's true nagkapink eye ako.because of geo

^ Is it normal for the geos na makati or minsan masakit sa mata pag nilalagay? I stopped using them kasi natakot ako baka contaminated. But I got this from japanesecandy. Eh sikat naman siya and may mga celebrity na bumibili sakanya. I emailed narin un EOS isa pa maker ng contact lens and asked them if si japanesecandy ba eh selling authentic lenses from them. Sabi oo naman daw. Pero kasi masakit ilagay sa mata.

^it's not advisable kasi malaki yung diameter. Saka contact lens itself di sya recommended lalo na kung di naman ganun kadalas magpacheck up ng mata/di ganung kaalaga sa mata.. Saka we dont know rin ang quality ng Geo contact lenses..

i bought one from GEO(i admit, ang ganda talaga ng designs nila) and checked its authenticity, but it still pricked my eyes. i'd rather throw it away, lose money than lose my eyesight and suffer from the damages, both financial and physical. if you want to look prettier, buying from optical shops is more trust-worthy because the doctors can give you advice on which lens suit you best. kahit anong lens, may risk pa ring kasama, especially if you don't know how take care of it very well. so it's really our choice.

cosmetic contact lenses are not advisable for everyday use. medyo hard din ang mga cosmetic lenses. the biggest i've tried is 14mm or 14.5mm ba yun. i heard meron ding 16mm at 17mm. i can't imagine what they look like. lol

saka kahit ordinary colored contact lenses, they are bigger na nga than the pupils of our eyes.. Tapos if your optha knows what color/design suits you, mas maganda pa kakalabasan..

I tried colored lenses before sa freshlook, but that was 5 yrs ago. Nasayang lang kasi feeling ko hindi natural.

Ano ba ang bagay para sa maliit ang mata - not chinky eyed ha.  Sakin kasi singkit ako, pero hindi wide ang mata ko. so maliit sya in diameter and in height. hehe. Kaya hirap di ko lam kung may babagayan.

I would also encourage people to just buy sa optical shops, kasi sure ka mas safe.  Yun nga lang, I am in search of colored lenses with grade (may grado kasi mata ko), na mas breathable din (like optix). kaso do such products exist?

^ start ka muna with subtle color. and try to see and study the reaction of people na nakakasalubong mo kapag suot mo yung light color like hazel.

You're welcome sis! I wanted to share it lang kasi super na-alarm rin ako when I read the 2 articles. Gumagamit rin kasi ako sometimes ng Geo lenses and lately na-notice ko nasstrain talaga eyes ko.
After i read this article, I'm starting to consider buying from optical shops na talaga.
Di kasi worth it to risk the health of your eyes para sa vanity

I'm not scaring you pero share ko lang, I saw last Sunday sa Cosplay event sa SM megamall. I'm not a fan pero syempre kalat sila sa malls, yung girl naka-cosplay basta nakita ko na yung pinoportray nya. Pagtingin ko sa mata, may bulak na nakatakip dun sa isa nyang mata. Tapos yung isang mata na exposed, naka-geo contact lens or korean circle lens at sobrang pula na ng mata nya. Siguro na-infect or may nangyari sa isa nyang eye kaya nakatakip, baka dinala lang sa clinic dun to have first aid or whatever. Tsk.
