@plumpista, find a dermatologist. Para lang we know what's really happening to your skin.

I was a CAT officer in HS (2yr to 4th yr) and I didn't know anything about sunblock. We were under the sun all day. Nung collge din lagi akong nasa araw.

It affected the texture of my skin pero no heavy lines and spots. Maybe genetics.  Pero parang you're too young to have lines. Go to a dermatologist para di ka na masyado magspend ng money trying out products.

^^i'm currently using RoC Retinol Wrinkle Correxion Night Cream. in fact, i'm using this for straight 3 years. sa sobrang hiyang ko sa product na ito ayoko nang mag-try ng iba pang anti-aging products.  :)

Sis, matagal ko na gusto i-try yan. Saan mo nabili and how much?

I think soap & glory's night in shining armour is the culprit behind my breakouts recently.

Overpriced talaga.  :-\

Wala atang Kiehl's dito sis :( I'll try ordering nalang sa ebay or sa site nila. Pero liquid ata yan baka di tanggapin ng courier </3 Medyo overpriced dito is MAC. Hehe. I checked the site yesterday for the price of the lipsticks, fluidline, and foundation. Mas mahal here ng 500. LOL. It's 9.5bd thats around 1k+. :/ Imagining na walang tax here sa Bahrain. Hindi ko alam bakit ganun! Hehe. Recently lang sila nag taas. :/ Lagi pa OOS sila. Hehe. I've heard a lot of good things about Kiehl's :) Definitely will give it a try. May VMV rin dito! Kalowka ang price! Yung armada lipbalm 750 lang sa pinas here over thousand. 11bd. Grabe! Hahaha.

my recommendations for good sunscreens are RoC Minesol Sun Spray SPF 60 and/or La Roche Posay SPF60. these are both photostable and provide broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

Thanks sis for the reply! :) Maganda nga daw RoC! Budget friendly pa unlike the high-end anti-aging products. =) Sis which is better? The RoC sun spray or the La Roche? Both kasi available here. Meron rin nga Dr. Organic ata :) Much better to sa Neutrogena? Yung sheer something nila?

Derma is not covered in our health insurance :( Mahal magpa-derma here sis. And walang Pinay/Pinoy na derma. Halos mga indians. But will look for a good one. I think sa pag neglect ko to ng moisturizer and no sunblock :( No heavy lines pa naman sis. I'm thinking of vitamic c sa regimen ko?

with my age, and the kind of neglect i gave my skin, i really need good anti aging products. i just recently used Roc (retinol day moisturizer with spf30) and like the result, nothing too drastic thou. at night, i use L'oreal ideal balance clarifying toner + Neostrata intense.

Hehe. Oo nga sis :)) Isa na ang MAC. :)) Sana mura nalang.

OT: both sunscreens are photostable but i like the consistency of RoC sun spray than the LRP cream. meron din La Roche ultra-fluid lotion and dry-touch spray baka mas magustuhan mo ito.

Night Cream and Serum are 2 different formulations. Derma E Ester C serum is good. Tapos tipid. Kasi 2 step lang sya.

1. Wash
2. Apply Serum

Php 950 +- in a 60ml. pump bottle. Medyo sulit considering the quantity.

Here's the ingredients: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract*, Calcium Ascorbate (Ester-C®), Allantoin, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrant Oils (Essential Oils).

I love that the Vitamin C derivative is very close to the first of the ingredients list.

No anti-aging regimen right now because I'm pregnant. I just wash with Cetaphil and moisturize with milk moisturizer. But before I got pregnant, here's mine:

Retin-A, Vitamin C serum (bought from my derma), Glycolic acid (5% only once a week or once every two weeks), plain milk moisturizer, and Sunblock work for me.

Morning:
Cetaphil facial wash
Vitamin C serum
Plain and very light Milk Moisturizer (from derma, alternate with Kanebo Milk Moisturizer.)
Sunblock

Evening:
Cetaphil facial wash
Retin-A

I use glycolic solution once a week or once every two weeks. When I use glycolic, pahinga muna sa retin-a for 3 days. I use Vitamin C serum instead as a replacement for retin-a.

THat's a good regimen inkslinger. Thinking of reducing my skin care routine and I'm thinking of just maintaining 4. Wash, Retin A, Vitamin C Serum, Sunblock
