^ Depends on what carrier you use. Kung parang toner, like the Derm-A facial lotion, replace your toner na lang with it... Or swipe it on after your toner sinks in.

Kung yung cream form naman... Many dermatologists say that tretinoin works best kapag walang moisturizer.

Pero if you still want to use a moisturizer (like me).  Use your moisturizer last. Cleanse-Tone-Treat-Moisturize.  Tretinoin is considered treatment. Parang sa obagi line--they advise na you put the moisturizer after all the other treatment products.

Don't use tretinoin in the morning kasi it's deactivated when exposed to sunlight

Ganyan yung ginagawa ko. :)  Yung skin ko medyo resilient kaya di na ako minsan naghihintay ng 20 minutes before I put tretinoin.  Pero I do wait 10 to 15 mins before I put on my moisturizer.

OT: Anong sunblock gamit mo?

Resveratrol motivate the longevity gene, and beneficial for body function at a higher level and good fight against common diseases when the body ages. You have to know that this ingredient does not help with your anti aging concerns. Instead, it is only included in several anti aging products because it helps prolong its shelf life. You are advised to avoid creams that contain ingredients such as alcohol, liquid paraffin, phenol carbolic acid and artificial fragrance and other harmful ingredients

Ako naman I don't use moisturizer anymore. So after toning, tret na lang. Nung una I had to blend moisturizer and tret kasi parang masyadong harsh [textspeak!] tret.

@PINKAHOLIC you are too young to use any product baka lalong makasira just drink plenty of water to oxidize your skin. Trust me you will be amaze with the result.  I would suggest that you find a good cleanser lalo na if you are into make up and tone your skin to make sure na talagang malinis enough na yun for you.  Don't hurry yourself you will get there. joke!  ;D

ako sis pwede na? im 25 single pero stressed sa work naglilitawan na yung fine lines
hindi na ako nasasatisfy sa sunblock eh

^^At 25, you can safely start an anti-aging regimen. The only proven anti-aging regimen consist of sunblock, tretinoin and topical anti-oxidants like vitamin c serum. So research and invest in these items, ang mahal lang would be the vitamin c serum, but there are cheaper alternatives. You can also add on some chemical or physical exfoliants with AHA to rid your skin of old skin cells. Stay away from commercialized anti-aging creams as these usually contain heavy moisturizers which you don't really need at 25 and can only clog your skin.

As for the basics like cleanser, toner and moisturizer, just use a mild cleanser and rely on your treatments for the actives. Skip the toner if you have dry skin as most of these contain alcohol, which can only dehydrate your skin. You also look for doubly-duty moisturizers with anti-oxidants and retinol to help with the anti-aging bit. Prevention is always key and its never too early to start :)

Sis, check the ingredients of your night cream before applying it after your tretinoin.  Most bleaching creams contain tretinoin and hydroquinone so you might over apply your creams.

My dermatologist is recommending diamond peel using pristine (with real diamond tips) twice a week to regenerate my skin.  I'm scheduled to have my first treatment this coming Saturday.

^ This is good advice :)

I agree that it's never too early to start.  Mas mahirap magbura kesa mag-prevent ng wrinkles :)

sunblock is the best anti aging product, accdg to my derma. so as early as now, Im using spf 80 (hamilton) to protect my face even im just staying in the office for the whole day. At night, I also use tretinoin, very low dose, which is good for exfoliating.

I don't know if this is considered anti-aging--but i bought a new foundation today.  It's mineral 2-way foundation with SPF 30 PA+++ from maybelline.  Natuwa naman ako sa tatlong +

I've been meaning to get shiseido's spf 30 na foundation pero sobrang mahal.  Ang hirap kasi mag-slather ulit ng SPF lotion or moisturizer sa face through out the day. So, I think it's a good thing na may ganitong powder. It's not heavy coverage naman. Good for touchups.

Add ko na rin, I follow a blog of a dermatologist and she has advice on layering skin care products with tretinoin.  Her advice is inconsistent with what I do and you might want to check her views on it, after all, she's a professional.

^iba-iba talaga approach ng mga dermatologists when it comes to using tret. My derma likes to mix products instead of layering and for me, effective din naman Natuwa naman ako sa sinabi niya her skin looks better now at 53 than 26, only goes to show na long-term talaga ang effect ng tretinoin as long as you use it consistently.

May new studies na din showing high percentages of AHA can also stimulate collagen production, similar to tretinoin. I find this very interesting kasi pregnant and lactating women can't use tretinoin, but can use certain types of AHAs. And tretinoin is only good as long as you keep using it. But I have to research more on this. :)
