Ahhh..the perks of living in the Philippines   You get to go to awesome places like Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam for real cheap!

I went to Vietnam/Cambodia w/ friends last year, and I want to do it again next year.  Super sulit.  Bitin talaga.  So much to do!  Super cheap.  I want to spend mga 2 weeks there.

dapat kasi sis kasali yong limang weekdays para kasama din yong 2 saturday & 2 sunday. base sa mga nabasa kong trip 9 days talaga yong vietnam-cambodia trip para sulit.

^tingin ko dapat at least 7 days pag cambodia and vietnam. kasi consider mo pa yun mga travels mo by bus.

ako baka mag cambodia ako next year, 5 days, walang vietnam na.

I want to do this din next year ( Saigon- SR- Bangkok).  I'm doing my research pa.  I'm looking for blogs na pwede gayahin :-)  Parang kaya ko yung land trip form Saigon to SR.  But SR to Bangkok, wala pa ako nababasa.

^ I did the overland crossing from Siem Reap to Bangkok last June. I did the rather expensive way of doing it -- renting a car from SR to the border. From the border, it's pretty easy and cheap na. Just walk across the bridge to passport control, then when you go out, walk towards the market and ride a tuktuk going to the bus station. The bus goes direct to Bangkok's northern terminal

Last June, hubby and I did Singapore-Langkawi-Kuala Lumpur-Siem Reap-Ho Chi Minh-Bangkok in 16 days   I'm just too lazy to write down my blogs but I have all the information here so just shoot me a question if anyone wants to know anything

wat_evah: Puede pero super limited time mo. If you've been to BKK before, you can head out of the country as soon as you arrive, then just go back the day before your flight back. I have friends who did this last June. As soon as they landed, they went straight to the bus station for the bus to Cambodia. They arrived in Siem Reap mga afternoon na, then went around and saw as much as they can before nightfall. The following day, full day tour ng Angkor temples. Then the following day, back to Bangkok na.

Your blog is indeed helpful.  Thank you so much!  I'll do the same :-)  30 USD isn't that expensive i guess.  Would getting a cab than taking the bus be easier and hassle free?  How much is the difference if I may ask should I decide to take the bus? 

I have done HK and Macau, so with Singapore ang KL.  I am hoping I can do the Saigon- SR- Bangkok too.

The bus is cheaper, I think. You can also book your seat in the bus from your guesthouse din, and they'll pick you up from your guesthouse. I think the problem with taking the bus is that it would take longer, and sometimes they wait for other passengers.

It seems there's less hassle going out of Cambodia into Thailand, as oppose to going the other way (it's the same whether you're taking a taxi to the border or the bus). this november, bangkok ako, malaysia and singapore in 11 days, loka loka ba ako?  if i stay over a week kasi in one place nabobore ako.  shopping galore hehe

^ok yong ganon sis. boring nga talaga kung 11 days nasa isang lugar ka lang lalo na sa singapore kasi wala gaanong pupuntahan don. kaya sa x-mas pag natuloy uli ako sa SG kasi pinapapunta ako ni bf, balak kong pumunta ng bintan.
