Wala na daw talaga.  I really made tiaga, insisting for almost 2 years na -- had myslf  listed, my sisters, my bffs.. Lol, all over  the world.  my other orders came earlier, even if mas late ordered.

It is the nearest to  royal blue they have called me for (turned down 2 previously).  This didn't come in my ordered ghw;  pero, shucks, I got it na rin.  . I am sure they will also be calling you soon, and offer you that color.    (We are expecting  calls from other stores too.). 

I can email you a photo, so you can see malapit na sa royal blue.  Happy naman ako. .

btw, nawawala interest ko ngayon sa hermes. saw a certain "socialite" carrying a fake one OMG! grabe na pala sellers of fake AAA++ or whatever you call it quality here. for the meantime, loving my alexander wang duffel. gorgeous leather, not too expensive price. hehe

Oo nakakawalang gana.  For me, coz Birkin ownership is now used by kabits/high-end poks &  their ilk to prove ...ano na ba they are trying to prove?   LOL.  Basta, they siguro feel respectability  comes with ownership of a Birkin.  Naging medal of achievement. Lol

Anyway, I don't live in a world where $530 beach towels and $85 poker cards are the norm, but I'm just a typical girl and those bags are pure joy to me. Maybe I can afford to buy one now, kaso mauubos savings ko. Yikes! Ayaw ko naman mag pabili. Lagi nalang kasi ako nanghihiram sa mother ko, I like it kasi! Haha! went to Hermes store here last week, before that I called them muna tapos sabi nila wala daw stock ng Birkin. pero actually, di naman talaga Birkin sadya ko.  so nung nasa boutique na kame, and after namin makapili ng few belts (pangregalo sa mga business partners ni hubby) and i bought my Lindy. I asked the SA if how's Birkin ba? gano ako katagal magwawait? but actually wala naman akong intention bumili 'coz it's not really my style. may kinuha siya sa loob.. and guess what? may stock sila! Etoupe and Rose something (sorry forgot ko na).. I asked her why nung pagtawag ko sabi niya wala. Di daw talaga nila sinasabi over the phone. ganun daw lage sinasabi nila na waiting list, ek-ek... Pero pag pumunta sa store saka pa lang daw nila sasabihin kung anong color meron pero mostly daw 2-4 pcs lang meron sila.. I just don't know kung per week or per month yun..

^they are nice coz you bought a lindy and a few belts from them lols! ganun talaga. flash your platinum card first then buy then ask for THE birkin. meron yan laging stock. kung maubos man, tatawagan ka agad if may walang kumuha na nasa list nila =)

im not really a bag person but having read this thread, bumilib naman ako na meron palang commodity na kahit you have the money to buy it, wait ka for two years on the average to have it. talo pa ang mga luxury cars. i guess that's one of the reasons why it is expensive and having one (syempre yung authentic) would show to the whole world that you have arrived. status symbol talaga. right now di ko pa carry to buy but i wouldn't mind owning one someday.

^not really 2 years. if you know where and HOW to buy it, wouldn't take that long. UNLESS, yun nga, special order talaga na customized to what you want. usually kasi, they offer the bags first to their VIP clients, pag walang magkagusto, dun mag start i-narrow down yung waiting list. if you do not have any color or leather in mind, just any birkin bag, it only takes 1-2 months to get it. minsan, meron pang nakatago sa likod/stock room =)

actually luxury cars have waiting lists too =) you can't see the likes of maybach or bugatti or bentleys here. although i saw one bentley sports car before in greenbelt, kaso diplomat hehe

^Hahaha.  did the same thing. Got my blue electrique last Nov.   That was so far the longest wait I  did for a color.  I hope to see the next one coming in faster.

 UPDATE, mga Sis:   The price for the CDC is now 68thou, as of 2weeks ago... No judgment tayo dito ha?  Lol.  Anyway, hope   the others post too so that we can do our little tidy comparative price analysis. Lol.   For those going to NYC  soon... meron doon (as of March 16 I saw and put myslf  out of harm's way, lol)
